It seems to follow the same trend as well. They join party, start whining saying we are overhyped or something like that. We then fight them with even numbers, they lose and then they bring 2-3 times the numbers.

Hey, look at what I am replying to. The intent of my post was to demonstrate that what he said was incorrect, as we have never come across such a large proportion of a guild that has raged at us.

This isn’t a post where you reply in a manner that tries to make you look like an innocent victim in a pitiful attempt to solicit pity. This is a post where you reply with something along the lines of “Yes, sometimes some of our members get worked up about the game. It happens to everyone sometimes.” At that point, I say something along the lines of “Fair enough. We all sometimes put too much energy into a silly game.” This would cover your guild-members raging and then we could get along.

If you want to manipulate people by playing the victim card instead however, then it is your choice to do so.

Because your statement is a little biased. We hardly have 5 active members during prime time (east time for me). How is it possible for us to bring 2-3 times your numbers unless you’re soloing? And so far, I rarely see KoM soloing. So imho, you’re exagerating a bit. Hence my exagerated answer.
But of course, I can be wrong. It just rarely happens when I’m playing.

For the raging part, I don’t know. I’m not that kind of a player who need to join a party to rage after them. I just want to have fun before heading to bed. Lol, I don’t even spike solo’ers who lose agains’t me. I just /bow and move. I try to be as respectful as possible.

I never claimed that they come back with 2-3 times the number of xoxo members. It’s generally other guilds that they call in for back-up.

You may be a nice person and not rage at people, but we have on multiple occasions had xoxo members join party after they died just to insult us. So if someone from xoxo is going to claim that the entire guild takes it easy, then I will call that out as being the lie that it is.

I run in zergs.
I run solo and win 1vx fights. I lose in them too! omygosh
I jump in and fight 10 enemies with only 1 other person with me.
I run from people sometimes.
I stand on towers and taunt.
I gank.
I run with small groups who take on huge groups of less coordinated players and win.
I run with small groups who take on other small groups and sometimes win sometimes lose sometimes run sometimes end up chasing..
I run into towers when I’m low hp if one is near..
I pvdoor.
Now I even pve an hour or two a day!
I party with enemy servers and have duels.
I party with enemy servers and talk smack.
I sit spam ppl for lulz.

I probably missed some fun activities in that list.. But lets quit kittening and get back to posting awesome wvw vids pls. kitten I wish my PC wasn’t a POS or I would make my own.

I’m surprised that you didn’t post 7 or so comments of flame after someone mentioned that they were annoyed at the one time when you ambushed and ganked them. It seems like everyone else is doing it.

Dank was rather honest in how he plays the game now, and given that it’s rare to see such a response from anyone these days, I thought it deserved notice again.

As to Naussica being annoyed about getting killed by our 4 man group last night, it was laughable to begin with, so I didn’t say anything. Nothing against people running around solo, but if we’re roaming around in a small group, you’re probably going to die if we come across you. She had no problem hopping on board the large zerg that hit us later that night, so not sure why she felt the need to say anything since she certainly took her chance to hit us with overwhelming numbers. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out so well for her, so maybe that’s why she felt the need to comment.

Luckily, she had her chance for revenge earlier today when it was me, Jscull, Zelrin, and Aza roaming around. We were fighting a large group of NSP outside of Bay and here comes Naussica. Again, hitting us with larger numbers after thinking it was funny that we hit her solo with 4. Pot, meet kettle. It’s amazing how often that line is appropriate in these threads. Anyways, things just didn’t seem to go her way again as she died several more times.

Despite being one of the smallest groups she saw the entire night, she felt the need to comment. But that’s coming from someone who talks about cookies, hugging, and rainbows in every other post, so I can understand where she is coming from. She likely thinks we’re playing Hello Kitty: Island Adventure, and that we all should all turn into deers, sit around and wave at each other, and join Greenpeace. I’m sorry, but I’m playing this game to hang out with my friends and find good fights. I’m not going to purposely avoid one player just because they happen to be solo. We’re not jumping on her body, posting video’s about it on the forums, or even saying we’re good because we were able to take her down 4v1. She happened to be in the way of one of the smallest group sizes in this tier and she took offense. I apologize, I should have baked you cookies.

As a member of a reputable roaming group that frequently runs 5 mans (and if any T7 lowbie-killing 5-man want to come have a go, you’re on..), I can tell you that AoN has never told anybody to stop following them if they were just doing their objectives. Yes, our style of play focuses on fighting larger numbers and searching for constant fighting, but we’d never discourage our server to play objectives. In fact, we help them a lot. I believe that’s the proper mentality to have in regards to your server.

If you chose to play a roaming-group in GW2, you chose to take a different path than most. Therefore, you have to adapt to the majority and the game design… AoN spends 80% of their time deep in enemy territory, with no allies in sight. If you’re on a contested on friendly area, don’t complain about your pubbies being around you. Move yourself to a different place.

Of course, we’ve had our cases where litterally 5 or 6 people would hang around with us, following us like glue… those are the cases where you just want to kill them yourselves… people who decide they’d ride along your train while they should be doing other stuff.. but oh well. Run them into an enemy zerg and they run or die instantly.

Of course, if they ARE, indeed, in T7, where zergs and people in general are less geared, skilled and hardcore than the higher tiers, and where there a less full guild zergs, they “would” think highly of themselves for wiping people with crappy gear and no voice com. If you want a real challenge, come to T2. You’ll have plenty to fight, and it’ll open your eyes, and there won’t be pubbies because pubbies will stick with the commander!

How do you know people are less geared, skilled and harcore than higher tiers? We only have less players than yours.
These T2 elitists…

And no, we accept everyone with us. We play with our server, talk with everyone, invite them in our group. We’re here to have fun, not to spit on other tiers like you do.

On the other hand, we were disappointed that you guys were so bad that with at least 3x our numbers you didn’t manage to make a scratch on hills or even get to the gate. All you managed to do was hold one little tower and get farmed, having far more casualties on your side then ours every fail bomb you tried.

Btw how do you portal bomb 5 people with a group of 20+ get 0 kills and have 3 people downed in the process?

Mend was a joke all night with the most obvious portals. We were laughing so hard everytime, perhaps having the mesmer stealth instead of walking up might increase the rate of success for you.

I also admire the kill and do not tell motto of PAXA. It makes me respect your guild more. But, I think XOXO and PAXA are trying to enforce their “split for the zerg and come fight us as small groups” a bit aggressively. Example: saying that “people who zerg are mindless”, “you guys just press 1 to win”, “get some skill and come 5v5.” Not exact quotes but the just of it. This not only aggravates people but also scares off some people who want to try roaming around and fighting you guys. It makes it seem like small man groups are for the elites of the elite and casual players have no place. I remember back in the day I would roam with 3/4 people and fight people but for the longest time the community made me feel like I was not worthy or skilled enough to try it. So I stayed with the zerg most of the time until I decided one day to try it. Also, it makes it seem like we (the small 5 man) are representing the whole server so if we lost badly the forums would blow up with “L0L SF sux look @ this 5 man we beat so ez didnt lose a member. h4h4 get some skill insert screenshot here”.

XOXO is far from being elitist. If it was the case, I would never have joined them. We would be very happy to fight more small groups, even if they are less skilled or anything.
When I start roaming, I wasn’t good at all. But the only part of the population who was emoting on my corpse when I was losing was zergs.
I’ve been killed many times by PAXA and they never /laugh at me. Same for GT and all the small groups outthere.
I can’t say the same about zerglings ( not only SF, but all the zergs).

How many times zerglings ran from me in a 1v3 just to hide in a tower and /laugh at me? It happens everyday. Then their zerg comes, wrecks me and they jump off their walls to dance on my body.
Zergling behaviour is horrible most of times. But yes… they do this “to win”.

I believe that people in their zerg don’t want to solo/small group roam because of their own attitude. They certainly won’t appreciate to see 10 times their numbers laughing at their corpses while they are trying to experience something different (and harder).

My point is would that win in Madden mean anything to you if you were playing against a 2 year old who could barely press the buttons let alone provide any kind of strategic or technical challenge. And would you still try as hard to pull off that win rather then just having fun playing against said 2 year old and just messing around.

You guys chill, we will be evicting you from T7 soon enough, and at T8 you can get all the small roaming groups you want…They got folks like Agg, FoE, VK (if any are still there), and they will roll 10-15 players over half your map before you say “oh yeah 1v1 meh”….If you want small roaming groups, T8 is the place to be…But don’t say this ol boy didn’t warn ya….They coordinate a lot more than just armor colors down there….

I had a nice duel agains’t a CoSA guardian last evening. I put him in downstate and bow. I just walked away and realized he was being attacked by a monster. So I went back, kill the mob and let him rally in peace.

We fought a couple of others CoSA and PVP and different other guilds after, by SF NSP spawn. Then we hold the tower for a long time with only 2 of us, without siege weapon, agains’t many of them. Finaly, HoD came and killed them.

But yes, we XOXO are a joke. We’re only wvw fashionatas ( especialy me )

Nice vid Silk. My only complain is the low resolution rendering on my pretty mesmer while I was sending to your turtle formation loads of confusion ( Bay sequence, at right of your screen). I spent a lot of money to be this pretty. It’s just disheartening to appear like a monochromatic shadow you know </3
