Pretty much every sentence you quoted was followed up with something to put it in context. Are you saying any of those reasons are untrue? It wasn’t meant to be insulting…it takes a bit different and extra theory crafting for GvGs and there is a definite learning curve that you’d have to expose your guild to. That exposure points out weaknesses that guilds won’t see in WvW and helps guilds become better. It’s a good tool a lot of guilds use to improve and gage progress.

Yes, I can see that you’re one of those types of people that likes to condescendingly insult someone, then turn around and try to make it sound like you’re doing it for their own good cuz you care about them & you have all the answers. Must be fun to be in a relationship with you!
To suggest that we don’t theory-craft in a game mode like this is ludicrous. But, that’s not really your business is it? You’re in a different guild, on a different server for God’s sake….

I can see your kitten has only grown stronger since you trolled your own leader out of the guild. I can understand your behavior though, such a massive organ requires a lot of blood that would otherwise be put to use in your brain.

Personally I am curious how you guys keep managing to whisper taunts and abuses to me every time we kill you regardless of how my block list grows every time. Enjoy it while it lasts I suppose, eventually all of CORE will be blocked, and you will have nobody to talk to but the next guy in the jerking circle.

And I will say it again. We do not gvg, we think it is a perversion of the game mode, you can find us every night after 8:30 pm, no exceptions. I can guarantee you that we are not hiding behind walls and gates, we are capping back everything that should be ours in our BL or in EB every single night.

Your opinion is your opinion and I’m not going to hammer you for having one that disagrees with me. I will say though, I’d ask your guild members again if they all really think its a “perversion of the game mode” or if its really just you and a select few being overly zealous about it and discouraging it in your guild. The fact that you take it to the extremities of “perverted” does reflect poorly on your guild in my eyes (not that you should care what i think or anything either). There isn’t much of a rational argument you can make that has even numbered open field fights a “perverted” version of gameplay lol.

There’s definitely a learning curve, but I will say that if you actually want to be the best WvW guild possible (not saying that’s your goal, it definitely might not be), you guys should reconsider it. It exposes your weak spots so that you can correct them, and it will only help your guild get better. I don’t mean that patronizing at all either….I don’t think we’ve actually ever even been on the map with Mend cept maybe one time a few weeks ago in a Garrison fight.

You don’t seem to grasp that it’s just not something that we’re interested in doing.
We want to do what is FUN to US, as a guild, in the game. Not what you think we should be doing….. sigh

Mending the Ruined [Mend] is now recruiting on Isle of Janthir server!

We’re working towards increasing our numbers to become a more hardcore WvW guild with a stronger presence on our server.
We are seeking veteran players as well as those who wish to learn. New players need not be afraid to ask questions. Sharing of knowledge and working together is key.

[Mend] is, and always will be, a troll-free guild.

Nightly participation in Guild WvW at 8:30 PM est is required (if you are online).
It is our unity as a guild that makes us as successful and reputable as we are.

Outside of Guild WvW, our members are free to explore the rest of what GW2 has to offer. When new content is released, we do take a night off to explore and enjoy it. We also run weekly guild missions.

WvW has a limited amount of slots and there may have been a queue of players waiting to get in.

If there was no queue, then there is no reason for him to complain.

You guys are missing the point…
If a decent sized guild or 2 suddenly decided to go to said map, then there WOULD be a queue because of these misplaced gvg’ers…….

I do NOT support gvg. BUT, I do think that Anet should make a designated instance/map for it where all players can talk to each other in say chat while they gvg.
It is obviously something that a decent size of the game pop wants/enjoys.

This anet employee is ALSO free to play the game however he wants. If he wants to troll ppl, well then he fits right in with some of the other gw2 gamers.

I’ve had personal experience (on a previous server), being spawn-camped by a large group of NSP which included 4 Anet tags.
They’re obviously allowed to play however they want to, as long as they are not violating tos. (Which gvg seems to flirt with).

If what you enjoy in the game isn’t being supported, then rally together & make your voice louder to get what you want. But, don’t rag on an Anet employee for doing something that plenty of other players do normally. He’s a human being & if some of you had a nice shiny Anet tag, you’d probly flash it too.

I wish e1 would quit complaining about what makes this class so great.

Thief is a wonderfully unique class and the only thing that needs to be nerfed is the ability to crit 100% from stealth. That’s it. Nice n Simple.. Takes care of a lot there.

I totally agree with more weapon combinations though. Getting boring at this point.

P/P thief, however, needs to be more viable. Buffs/fixes are needed there.
The only thing my p/p thief does is gather………… nodes and, unfortunately…dust…

This isn’t really a suggestion, it’s an intense need lol

In WvW, party functionality is broken.
You cannot kick players from a party when they are offline… This has been a MAJOR frustration for players since release… That’s a long time.

You also cannot invite people to a party from the guild panel while in WvW.
You can’t whisper them from the guild panel either.
In fact (transitioning here), you can’t do ANYTHING with the guild panel in WvW. Including kick people from the guild. This should not be so.

The functionality from the chat box is also missing in WvW.

Please, I beg of you, I’ve been playing this game for over a year now. Most of it as either guild leader or officer. My hands are tied each way I turn with these broken functionalities.
Having to leave WvW to take care of something, only to then end up in a queue to re-enter, is rediculous.

Anet, is the right department aware of these problems and, are fixes in the works??

Actually Dr did not want sm, they held it for the point tick then left it defenseless.

see people in dr are smart and they knew they did not have the numbers to defend sm, so they all left and left it to whoever wanted it.

We weren’t actually trying to “take” SM or we would have and the fun would have been over…
If you noticed, I said we ran right past the Lord’s room.
We put bait out once we got inside, and the bait was used for hours to farm. The castle actually flipped TWICE while we were inside it farming. One BP cap and one DR cap.
It was just an idea that worked and was fun and lucrative for those on our server who participated in it. And yes, it went on for hours.
And a “ghost town” doesn’t produce the amount of badges I got last night.

Considering the amount of PPT whoopin we’re receiving this week from a T5 Server, I was just trolling a little for fun. Get over it.

Depends on what kind of server pride we are talking about.

Since you take pride in wiping unorganized pugs with a guild group I’m afraid you might be talking about the wrong kind.

W8 a minute. I take pride in wiping guild groups also. I’m not partial.

Because of the large numbers, it is impossible for us to be everywhere our enemies are at the same time. So, sustainment will continue to be an issue with this matchup.
We are a tactics guild, just on a smaller scale then our current matchup enemies (obviously).
In all seriousness, we are paying attention. We strive to learn and improve every week.

You do realize that EB is the place where randoms and pugs go, right? Maybe if you want some respect you should go to a Borderland and fight actual guild groups.

Mend barely goes to EB in the first place. Mend barely ever touches SMC. It was just a fluke idea that, of course, we succeeded at. Cuz that’s generally what we do.
…Until of course, we are given the 5:1 ratio we’ve been given this week. Which makes this “win” stand out all the more.

Let me make it clear, that I don’t give a kitten’s kitten about your respect.

Wow, most of these bugs are over 8 months old and still haven’t been fixed yet. I experience them randomly all the time.
Please don’t nerf us again anet with all of these unfixed bugs, that just wouldn’t be right

I agree. Much of the content was well thought out and aesthetically pleasing, to say the least.
But, loot from chests is a joke. ALL CHESTS. All of them, literally. Even with MF.
Chests are absolutely no motivation for completion of anything in this game. I’m really perplexed by this.

I like this idea a lot. I typically don’t like to make cookie cutter builds and I don’t like success being forced through 1 or 2 avenues.
I would at least like to be able to change the order of the skills I have now… It’s a start

I was in AC last night and, 2 seconds before the last boss died, the game crashed me out. I tried to hurry back in as quickly as possible so that I didn’t miss my loot before everyone left the dungeon but, much to my surprise, I got my loot.
What I didn’t get was my tears, money, or experience and my screen said “Dungeon Complete”….
Considering the fact that it took well over 2 hours to make it through, I was pretty upset about it.
All’s I could think about was how hard I just worked for those tears I didn’t get, so I sent a bug report in-game about that.
(Forgetting that I ALSO didn’t get the money or experience :/ )
Anything that can be done about getting my full payment for dungeon completion??
