People here keep going on and on about how we are whining about the difficulty. IT IS NO THAT, it is the freaking rewards that are not up to par of the time/work spent on the dungeon. They were already terrible before and now the olny made it worse.
There are literally no one doing Crucible of eternity on my server. It reached a point that i will need to ask help for outside. The patch only made it worse because no one will bother to do a dungeon for 2~3 hours for a 13 silver reward.
Aren’t we all so happy that 1300 tokens will now take much longer to get?

There is solution for you: if you fail at Magg’s path try another 2 paths./sarcasm off
I would do the other paths if they weren’t bugged.
This was already posted multiple times and no dev addressed to the issue. I suppose it is working as intended since you will get half of 13 silver if you repeat the same path.
Description mentions that he is supposed to yell “Yarr” when hit but my male human guardian is yelling “For great justice” instead. Is this working as intended?
With one not graveyard zerging rush the bomb path and killing them like our mister dungeon designer suggested.
The dev say you are supposed to beat the mobs that spawn in the bomb room. I really would like to see a video of someone doing that.
First time running magg path on CoF and i got 13 silver. Is it bugged? CoF wasn’t my last dungeon that i have done yesterday.
I also would like to see such video of the playtesters beating the 10 silver tier monsters that spawn on the magg’s path bomb part. I’m really interested in seeing how can they do it instead of graveyard bum rushing.

Actually it is the contrary. ALL paths are nerfed in rewards, if you repeat the same path you are only going to get even more less reward. So you get 14 silver first time and 5 silver the next. So yeah nothing much to lose by repeating them considering the other paths are going to take 4 times longer on a slightly better reward.
Anet is actually encouraging people to do less dungeons considering the rewards are only 1/3 of what’s used to be.

So basically, “Bad players” are upset because they can’t beat content. Lets face it, I am not more special than you. I likely have a similiar IQ to you. The only reason you can’t beat these dungeons is because you refuse to better yourself and instead choose to cry.
Casual players, like myself, can actually beat these dungeons. I have an hour or 2 a day to play them and I expect to get my full set within 2 weeks…..2 weeks bros…..including 4 hours on the weekends. You guys seriously want to just clear the top unique cosmetic rewards in 1 week? Thats asinine, you would just be stuck doing nothing. Not to mention the rewards would no longer be unique.
TL:DR – You aren’t casual, you are bad. Learn to progress and get better. You are capable and you most likely don’t have a severe mental handicap. Stop being lazy and stop crying.
We are not complaining about the difficulty. It is just the rewards. There is no point in doing dungeon anymore, unless you REALLY want that skin. Otherwise, time and money waste.
I just got 80k xp and 13 silver on my FIRST run on CoF. That barely paid the expenses of the armor fix. Drops? All blues.
People are still spamming Magg path just for the tokens now. They don’t care about the exp or money. And you can still do it in less than 20 min. Even though if you do another path, that’s just still only 13 silver and a measly exp, so that’s not worth the time. SO Yeah, patch didn’t really made much change except make us poorer. Unless if you do the same path over and over again, you start getting no tokens
Thanks for posting robert, but the problem with magg bomb part is that you are just spawning 10 silver tier monsters out of thin air that 2 shot us. It is already hard and long enough to kill one, but you want us to kill 10 at once on a tight spot? haha. I would like to see such a video of someone achieving this.
Oh and there is a problem with AC as well. In ghost eater, sometimes an extra 5 ascalonian ghosts will respawn together with the other 4 making impossible to finish the mission. They all walk together and we have to deal with 2 sometimes even 4 Elementalists that 2 AOE shot us. And we were a group of level 80 people that knew what we were doing. It doesn’t happen all the time so i assume it is a bug.
@Nebilim: Are we playing the same game? What the hell do tokens have to do with anything, explorable mode was NOT nerfed at all.
Did you read the post i quoted or the thread for the matter son? If you do a dungeon for less than 30 minutes, you start having diminishing gains. And if you repeat the same path. Yeah, Explorable mode. How is that not punishing hardcore players? The 30 min cap is ridiculous, there is no purpose to it.

You should not see any diminished returns unless you.
1) Run the same exact chain over twice in a row
2) Complete multiple dungeons in 30 minutes or less each.Point #1 is all right. #2 is batkitten insane and whoever thought it up needs to be shown the door.
You are punishing players for getting better at the game? What the hell? It’s like you took the worst grind in WOW, tripled it, removed all the gear upgrades, and then decided instead of rewarding people for completing dungeons faster, to punish them for it?
This makes no sense whatsoever.
Point #1 seems to encourage people to go run each dungeon once a day. Fine with me. #2 then punishes them for running it efficiently. Why? Why do you hate your players so much? Why would you even consider the need to punish players for being good?
Point #1 punishes players for being unimaginative and running the same thing over and over. #2 punishes them for having better gear, being more organized, and getting better at the game. I cannot understand how this proposal was considered for even a moment. I don’t know if you realize this, but the inescapable conclusion #2 gives is that someone at arena.net has a seething, boiling hatred for people who run dungeons well and quickly. There is absolutely no other way to look at this as other than a giant ‘screw you’ to people who do dungeons quickly. Doing dungeons quickly and efficiently should be something players strive TOWARDS, not shrink in fear from. Good god. How was this ever considered for even a moment?

Whaaaat? In my experience story mode dungeons are way harder than most explorable modes (at least the ones people run) and give terrible rewards. You get a crappy helm with terrible stats and an absolutely boring skin. I’m amazed to discover you consider the problem with AC story that it gives too high a reward.

Story mode dungeons seem like the least efficient way to level and get gold in the entire game. Explorable mode dungeons at level 80 with well geared people were a decent way to get gold before you nerfed it absurdly, but they need to be, because you don’t need experience at level 80 and you aren’t getting gear upgrades, so the gold is the only reason to run it.
and it is not our intention to make them feel like a grind.

Your dungeons are the grindiest grind in any MMO ever. They are worse than the grindiest dungeons in WOW, the king of grind. I never ran the same dungeon 70 times in WOW. And yet that’s the set up you have implemented here.
And in WOW I was not punished for doing dungeons quickly.
This so kitten much. Seems to me Anet is loving punishing people that play the game too much or are too good. Just give me a single good reason for the 30 minutes cap. Are you guys scared that a few elite players might ruin the economy? It will never happen lol, the rewards are already crap and the tokens soulbound.
It’s such a blatant, clear way you could correct this issue with dungeons:
Remove the dungeon specific tokens and have a universal currency.
The gear would still be hard to get and would take time, but you wouldn’t be forced to kitten yourself the experience by running the same chains from the fastest dungeons you can do.
Also +1 for adding an amount of karma to each successful boss down.
I don’t agree with the universal currency. People would just flop to the easier path again and grind it while doing nothing else.
I don’t mind Anet making dungeons harder, i even applaud it. But they just need to buff the rewards…They are extremely disappointing for all the work we do.
Maybe people wouldn’t do speed runs of the easier paths if the other paths weren’t unrewarding and time consuming. Some paths can take up to 2 hours to complete it even with a group that know what they are doing. And in the end what we get for all the hard work? Blues blues and more blues. And that one copper from that chest. I’m not asking for an orange item every run but the problem is that I did CoF hundreds of times upon hundreds of time, and i only got crap rewards, maybe 1 or 2 yellows. Only reason i was doing were for the money and the exp, and now i don’t have any reason to do it again. Oh and i had 130% magic find.
They might be exciting and fun for the second and first time, but after 58~60 runs just for an armor set, which may take hours to complete each run, it become a utter chore and i rather be killing normal mobs for better chance and rewards. And money! Because after dying hundreds of times, i will need to sell my kidney to fix my stuff.
And i have a doubt. Is it true that the game have an anti farming code for normal monsters as well? If you kill them too many times, you stop getting loot? I’m just feeling that anet loves punishing people that play the game too much.

That turn PvE enviroment in PvP. The shatterer, for example, was one of the best events i did so far. It caught so many people unprepared and the surprise moment really added up to the fun. Plus the fact that i turned into an evil crystal creature that kill players.
I love the guy that did some of these dynamic events. There are other one in orr with a skritt that makes some tests. I never laughed so hard in my life.
You see, you have everyone on the map doing those events, so it always become a zergfest. I think no matter which event you do, a zerg will always make it too boring and easy. Devs can’t go too far to adjust the difficulty or it might end up like the fire elemental which one shot everyone.
I’m sure dragons like Tequtal(sp?), Jormag’s claw would become a really tough fight if there were only 20~10 people.
Both lyssa repair the cannon and Bayt fallahin is broken on blackgate. Been like that for 2 days now.
Unfortunately, we’re still having problems identifying the root cause of this issue. If there are exact steps you can take to reproduce this bug, please let us know!

I think it is a bug…you see the berserker’s draconic armor need silk insignias to be made. Not gossamer. I can’t put the exotic chest piece of the armor on the mystic forget to get the recipe as well. Check it here
All the others boxes need gossamers except 2.
I almost blew 5~8 gold to make this useless junk
It happened 3 times in a row on the exact same spot. I’m beginning to think i can reproduce it now. It happened before but it is constant this time. Last it happened before Jormag fights, was in WvW so i’m beginning to think it has to do with a large group of people. The buzzing only stops when i log out of the game. I had never had any framerate drop through. I always have a constant of 50~60 FPS.
I also crash randomly when i change maps.
My specs:
i32100
Gtx 460 enthusiast edition
4 giga DDR3 memory
Using latest beta Nvdia drivers.
Running the game on max except shadows, reflections, and AA with 1280×1080 res
Sources suggest that you need Bottle of Elonian Wines, mystic coins, a chest base piece of that armor and crystals but whenever i try to put my exotic chest piece of Berseker’s Draconic Armor the other items grey up. It works for other chest pieces but not what i want.
What gives?
