With regards to the age demographic you mentioned, our guild would be perfect for you. We are all adults, both working and retired and, as a result, don’t have the temper-tantrums and drama that can occur within guilds with younger members.

While we’re not a huge guild (we just reached 175 at last count) and don’t specifically reside in the time-zones you’ve mentioned, you should have no problem finding around 20 members in-game during that time.

Unfortunately our guild isn’t on Dragonbrand.

You would, however, be more than welcome to Guest on our server for as long as you’d like and there would be no pressure for you to transfer if you don’t want to; the only real drawback to this is that you would be excluded from running with our guild in WvW events unless you were to transfer.

Another option: If you only have a few low-level characters, you could always delete them and you wouldn’t be bound to any server. From there you could choose any server you’d like and it would cost nothing to be placed there.

I also wouldn’t worry about losing any names that you’ve chosen as it’s highly unlikely that anyone would take those names in the minute it takes to recreate your old characters.

I’m not sure if you’ve found a guild or not but you might be interested in our guild which is on Jade Quarry which is a Tier 1 server—really BIG fights !!

We also share a server-wide 500 slot Teamspeak3 channel with the other guilds on the server, so being able to listen in on the commander—regardless of the guild—is never a problem.

While we do WvW regularly, we’re not a WvW guild specifically, when we do jump in we usually roam in 5-15 man havok groups while we’re not ‘zerg-surfing.’ We have weekly scheduled WvW nights on the weekends and will probably be adding more nights as interest in WvW has increased.

I can say with experience that guilds that drift from one game to the next always seem to shrink with each new shiny game that rolls down the pike. Eventually, everyone inevitably moves on. Our guild is a Guild Wars 2 guild and always will be.

We are an adult guild which has quite a few husband and wife teams already. Our minimum age is 25 so you wouldn’t be setting any virgin ears ablaze with your occasional outbursts.

While we don’t have regular dungeon and FOTM runs scheduled (we have in the past—it’s not very hard to get a group together for anything in our guild. We have brought in quite a few members recently and the group participation level has been high. Our regular ‘Lead Dungeoneer’ has been away with family business the last few weeks but he’s just now coming back and am sure he will be re-scheduling dungeon runs in earnest.

Unfortunately our guild, Just Us Grownups [JUGs] isn’t on Blackgate, You would, however, be welcome to Guest on our server for as long as you’d like and there would be no pressure for you to transfer if you don’t want to; the only real drawback to this is that you would be excluded from running with our guild in WvW events unless you were to transfer.

Another option: If you only have a few low-level characters, you could always delete them and you wouldn’t be bound to any server. From there you could choose any server you’d like and it would cost nothing to be placed there.

I also wouldn’t worry about losing any names that you’ve chosen as it’s highly unlikely that anyone would take those names in the minute it takes to recreate your old characters.

P.S. I realize that, perhaps, we might not be ideal guild you’re looking for when you consider the server transfer and that we’re not specifically a Dungeon/FOTM guild, but we’d love to have you.

While I definitely woudn’t say we’re a ‘hardcore’ guild, Just US Grownups [JUGs] define ourselves as a semi-casual guild in that we don’t dictate how our members play a game that they purchased. This isn’t to say that we waste our time in-game. Many of our players are seasoned veterans who log in daily and participate in WvW, intensive farming (both resource and champions) runs and world events.

While I’m not sure whether our age policy would be problematic for you, I am sure that our guild would suit you just fine.

We do encourage our members to use teamspeak, we don’t enforce it and the only caveat is that you have it installed so you can listen in during dungeon runs (this is out of courtesy for your companions).

Unfortunately, we are a guild which is on a different server (JQ) but we are purely an adult guild with quite a few husband and wife teams as members, so you might want to take our guild into consideration.

Our chat channels are 100 % ‘leet-speak’ free and the occasional ‘lol’ is about as juvenile as it gets; you would, however, have to excuse my frequent typos as my fingers have become quite inaccurate with afe age.
