so what are you looking for as far as changes to the incinerator?
-bigger longer lasting footfalls?
-some kind of fire aura?
-equipping it sets your whole character on fire (more funny than practical but would be cool fro some people)?
-some people like the effects incinerator has, some don’t; what would you change or do you like it as is?

Changes armor color vs covers your arm with small fire – Jugg wins
Quicksilver Footsteps vs Fiery footsteps – Jugg got an update
Effects when sheathed – Incinerator turns off, jugg turns off, both fail.
The model design, incinerator wins due to excessive particles shown.
Honestly, incinerator model design is the only saving grace of the weapon. You can instantly recognize it if someone takes out that weapon, otherwise….
Completely agree with him, rodgort is pretty much on the same boat as well .
Compared to other legendary’s i feel this lacks a few features.
1. Footstep it was meant to have been improved from the patch notes, but there was absolutely no change at all compared to other legendaries the footsteps are hardly visible at all.
2. I think an aura effect like the predator would be much more suited to it than the fiery hand effect.
3. The legendary needs an effect to it while it’s not sheathed.
4. While running with it could have an effect like infinite light where it drops fire bits down, it has a similar effect now but it’s hardly visible so i think that could be improved.
Completely agree with op. I also feel rodgort needs an update as well to make it look more legendary, compared to other legendaries it lacks effects and I think they could make the flame it breathes out more impressive.
I think they should improve rodgort, incinerator and predator footsteps since they look pretty bad, and the patch notes stated that they gave them updates while nothing was done to it.
Incinerator, and Rodgort now have larger footfall effects. Got this via patch notes but the footfalls look the same for me, has anyone else noticed any difference?
Hope to see some updates to the legendary, it’s one of the legendary which has sub par effects compared to other legendaries. It definitely needed update more than the bitfrost and moot so i hope they update the effect of the rodgort soon.
I completely agree with this thread. I think they could improve it’s flame effect, better landing footfalls and a flame trail when walking with it. The Dragon breathing concept is awesome though.
It will never become subscription, since their main selling point was no subscription fee. If it was subscription i would have never bought the game nor do i think a lot of people here would have.
I would love to have dhuum’s outfit being released ( We hardly have any outfit that fits the necro ) aswell as the other gods outfit via the gemstore in memory of them
It brings back players who have achieved most things the game has to offer. Personally i took a 4 month break from the game until the living story. The living story is the only reason i am still in this game. So no it does not harm the game in any way, but makes it better and brings back players who have quit.
Offtopic : I would like to thank arenanet for releasing contents every 2 weeks and i think this is the right step forward.
What about the people who have done world exploration 8 months ago? Your just late to the game, and meh the contents are so easy most of them can be done in a few hours so it doesn’t stop you from doing other stuff and you don’t even have to do them if you want to do something else instead. The only thing keeping me in this game is the content updates which gives me something to do.
I think it’s perfectly fair, people who have played the game longer deserves better than people who haven’t played as long as them. For example if a person joins today, he can’t expect to have everything a player who has been here for over 8 months to have. If you weren’t here for the one time events that’s your problem, You didnt feel like playing that particular month fair enough but you can’t expect to get the reward for it if you didn’t participate in it and the people who participated deserved the achievements point they got.
I dont think this is wrong. It’s not an exploit you’re just playing the game. I’ve seen loads of people do it and tbh, the ori price is still 2 silver it hasn’t dropped or anything so to people who say others should be banned because of this are imho, just jealous or something. I’ve been helping a friend get his 400 ore for legendary this way for 2 days now, and would be pretty sad if they removed that pick. I don’t need em. Have over 100 gold anyways and no idea what to do with it
And word of advice, if you don’t want them nerfing every steady and nice way of making money in the game making threads like this won’t help that cause.
Jealous? lol. Exploit is a exploit any way you look at it, doing something which wasn’t intended is exploiting, and this is affecting the market as we speak since the price of ori is going way below than it should be. And doing this is not just playing the game you wouldn’t do it if you didn’t know about the bug in the first place.
PS: If you want to help your friend get his legendary then do it the right way by mining it using the right pick. I’m not saying the rich vein is the issue, i’m saying that people using the karma pick to mine shouldn’t be doing it since its not intended to mine ori ores.
Clearly a exploit, the karma pick being able to mine ori is clearly a error so the people doing it should be banned. On the other hand being lvl 2 is not a issue aslong as your using a black lion pick.
What I get out of reading this:
Gem Shop = Good!
Playing the Game = Bad!
Same situation. Just one comes from a Karma vendor and the other from the Gem Shop/random black lion chest drops.
No what you get from reading my post is common sense. The perks of the gem store mining pick is that you can mine anything at any lvl ( no one would buy it to mine ori because they wont make the money they spent to get it, its only people who opened tons of blc chests who are using it.) The karma pick wasn’t intended to mine ori and it was a game error and its pretty obvious so the people who are doing it are exploiting a bug intentionally ( since they know its not intended yet they are doing it, and asking the obvious via forum) .

Another alternative would be to make them purchasable for karma as well, more uses for karma is always good.
That would be stupid, karma is extremely easy to gain, ive got over 200k in the past few weeks just from daily jugs. If that was ever introduced everyone would have t3.
The price is fair, i managed to get the whole set just casually playing the game for 2 weeks by doing dungeons and stuff, and it would be a kick in the teeth for those of us who worked hard to get our set, just because a selected few who want everything handed to them.
I updated this game to the latest patch last night, but when i tried to run it today i get the error above, my connection is totally fine, so i dont see what the issue is here, thought it would be best to make an post here. Been trying to update it for 1 hour. But the odd thing is that i did the update last night unless there is a new update today.

The reason for me asking is that gem store is not working for me atm, whenever i click any tabs it wont load so figured if there is a legit direct link i could use that to purchase my armor
Meh i lost 35g by putting a buy order in, hope i get all my money back or the item i ordered, kinda scary that they dont refund if the issue was on their side.
I put an buy order of 35g on a halloween skin, and nothing happend so presumed it was a bug, and i relogged and to my surprise all my money was gone, so i went to see if there is an active buy order , and it says black lion trading post down. So wondered if my money is safe ?
