I actualy could agree with that in the time the warrior has all stances active. That gives 5 sec max every minute.

Did you read the part of how healing signet kinda makes the semi invulnerable => full invulnerable ? If you facing a 1 vs 1.

It would add a bit more thinking of when to pop stances, => risk vs reward

1) they risk dieing if they want to keep the point(reward),
2) they wont die( less risk ) but wont be able to hold points ( less rewards )

That its not invulnerability and we know that sooner or later HS will be nerfed, so that aproach will be even worst for warriors.
If that aproach risk vs reward is done to all classes then i can agree (ofc only seing the classes afected and how). Only to warrior no.

Invulnerability does not let you cap/ decap
Stealth does not let you cap/ decap

But somehow warriors are allowed to have semi invulnerability’s with a passive healing able to heal up the low damage from the secondary damage source of your opponent.

  • Endure pain + healing signet = imune to burst specs ( even there low damage condi’s )
  • bzerker stance + healing signet = imune to condition specs ( even the low pure power dps those specs still have )
  • in teamfights they pop both when focussed and are imune to all damage from your full party while able to cap/decap points.

Its either all classes get to cap/decap while invuln. Or no1 should.

yet that’s not the problem with warriors.
Sacrificing utility for that leaves the blank for other useful utilities.
A mesmer gets it on the fly. a Guardian gets it on his elite.

Just running endure pain allows condis to still be applied. Berserker stance needs another slot gives adrenaline and makes you immune to condis but it doesnt to burst damage.

The real problem comes down to the fact they have amazing removal through cleansing ire on a really, really really short cooldown.
With suspecible short cooldown stuns on a swap.

Like why would it even matter to another class if i would take immunity? as soon as its gone im in trouble.

There’s plenty of other targets to go for,

ele / engy also have it as utility and wont allow them to cap/decap
warriors have it as utility and traits ….. and allows them to cap/ decap…………………….

In those 5 secs that you are invulnerable a good player will make there opponents go from the offense to a defense playstyle, and once you have to go play defensive against a warrior he already won cause most defensive playstyles cant out damage healing signet.

i’m not saying that warriors dont have other issues that need to be resolved.
I’m just pointing out that stances need to be looked at to cause of there semi invulnerability that becomes a “full invulnerability” with healing signet.

It’s not that it would break warriors, it would bring them on par with the rest of the characters concerning the cap/decap while invuln.

But i understand that warriors dont want to loos there advantages toward other characters that are not allowed those advantages. Even small corrections like this.

Well, okay I can understand that.
Especially if they pop both.
But not every warrior runs it double.
Same goes for the fact that if you have traited endure pain.
It would be seamingly unintentional for that warrior to suddenly decap his own point because of it being traited in such a fashion.

I personally think that giving the Short Weapon Swap Cooldown another place in a tree where it’s harder to get for longbow hammer warriors be suffice for it. That or reducing the swap by 1 1/2 | 2 seconds

I can’t see another way without nerfing other specs badly.
As for the healing signet, sure it’s fine but other healing skills aren’t as popular anymore.

Atleast i surely hope that’s the case, as is currently i wouln’t think an extra class is going to be a ton of a success with how the current meta in PvP works not to mention that not everything in WvW is viable.

Ofcourse you can make everything work, but there’s only so much you can do against certain classes that are just better. After you hit the skillcap some classes will always end up excelling end of the day.

I’m definitely still having 15-30 minutes queues.
I can’t really notice anything being doubled.
Maybe that’s the case for Hot Join, but I’m not seeing it for Solo Q.

I really don’t understand why this function still isn’t implemented.
People that run without armor just trolling about with weapons that don’t do anything in every single game you come across them are definitly just trolling.

I don’t see how one person spoiling a game for 4 others when those games are generally won if there wasn’t such a struggle to fight 4 versus 5 deserve not to be banned?

I mean, sure there’s a report function. But it doesn’t apply to anyone ruin a game or after scoring 10 points just going afk for the rest of the game.

You may have left the instance too quickly. You get the item upon looting the chest but get the achievement momentarily afterwards.

It took me to the mine cart so i assume i waited long enough for it to teleport me out.

Also as a side note, the tokens to make the weapons are only rewarded once a day.

Oh well… i didn’t get completion for Zone 3 at all even though i did it…
only had regular reward at the end, not trib mode reward…

Edit: I did get the Reward “King Toad Z-3” but not the “Glutton for Punishment 3/3”, it’s still on 2/3 although i have clearly finished all 3 zones.

Me neither reported both in the Bug forum please confirm so it gets noticed.

Same. I tried bombing different parts of the area—nothing. We might need to follow the bees and see where they go.

i believe they go over the terrain that actually drops you into the pool of lava

I think the solution is with the frog around the corner but to get him to pull you voer the terrain seems a bit impossible

I’ve basically done everything up to the point of 10/11 shops because one seems to bug.
and 2/3 beehives but the 3rd one seems practically unreachable. even tried hopping underground.

Already found out that the shop in W1,Z2 Near the swamp (where the shopkeeper tells you that the water s impure.
Once inside the shop didnt trigger the 5/11

Leaving me with 10/11 when finished Z3s shops.

Yes zone 2 doesnt trigger on the Swamp shop (near where the shopkeeper tells you the water is impure.)

The rest of the 10/11 shops seem to trigger, hopefully a dev can tell us why or maybe if we need to find one of the hidden rooms isntead.

There’s no report feature ingame that is tied to achievements i’ve looked through every possible report option.

Been doing Z1 and Z2 for the past 2 hours excessively .

Gotta say it reminds me ALOT of i wanna be that boshy (It’s a free game with the same generic feel to it with the game trying to kill you.

Huge awe moments with some of the spikes. I was already being careful and i got what’s coming for even remotely being careful.

Maybe an idea for next SAB update; ‘’If possible in design try to force the game to kill the player the best it can, add randomized traps, it might sound frustrating but actually being able to beat that is amazing.’’ (A real roguelike, if you know what i mean.)

Furthermore really liked running through some of the old areas in Z1,Z2 hopefully tomorrow i’ll finish Z3.

Have yet to check out W2 but i’ve seen that it kindof has a sort-of asian theme to it with the ninjas?

If a player goes akitten your match or even leaves i really would like an option to atleast /resign like in gw1.

Playing 4v5 or 3v5 just isnt doable if the other team is atleast half decent

Surely damage across the board at the moment is just a bit too much.
everything together in this meta is just build around blowing stuff up.
The whole ranger spirit build is just annoying at some point, especially when theres a necromancer present to circle it off with some amazing aoe to stop you from landing aoes on top of the spirits. If you dont watch out that S/D Ele will just macro right on top of you with enough damage to blow you up.
Not to mention the only solid build for thieves being S/D, I understand the game should be compelled to a level that everyone can play it simple as, but i personally wouln’t call this burst the way it should be.

It should be fun in a way aswel not encourage to roll the Faceroll build of the week.

I would’ve suggested some sort of damage reduction but then you got the whole problem guardians and rangers would become unkillable to an extend.

Feels like there’s alot to be balanced at the moment,
Maybe it’s just me but i do have a problem with the damage when i try something a little bit seperated from meta.

I highly doubt we’re being ignored but to balance pvp there would definitly be alot of points to change.
Which, I highly doubt will happen this year

I was actually hoping these count towards the Miniature collector title… not too happy about finding out that theres an additional tab for them..

I’m not sure if these will be more expensive or not considering there’s pretty much no incentive to actually buy them. I think the only people that will are the ones going after miniature collector.

They could’ve made a lot more money if they used better characters then just generic mobs and enemies. I know people would pay a fortune for a shot at a miniature Tybalt Leftpaw, or any of the other order reps. Make those rare and make miniature world bosses exotic, and bam, loads of money.

Though I’d rather see those last ones actually drop from world bosses, but still.

And yes, i would spend a fortune just to get a tybalt mini, has to be one of those characters that has just the right personality.
Given the fact that he died heroically we won’t see him again i geuss…

I have to buy 5 to an extend of using the makeover kit not changing the characters first name, now it’s not exactly a problem for me.
But at the current cost : 800 gems buying 5 of them will make it pretty expensive.

Little disappointed that only 1 year old characters get a birthday gift. It’s kinda… “Thank you for supporting us during this first rough year… Sadly, you weren’t here from day 1, so kitten you! Oh you couldn’t afford it on release? Tough kitten!”.

Unless they mean it’s “a thing” now, so to speak, and people get those benefits when their characters get to 1 year of age, which I doubt.

Other than that… pretty uneventful patch. Pretty much nothing but another step for the living story.

Meh, I guess.

Edit: Mhhh… That second link has one interesting thing: Some old skins might return. If that means I can buy a Sclerite weapon with gems, I’m ok with that.

It means, that when you character is exactly 365 days old you recieve a gift.
Doesn’t neccessarily mean you HAVE to have 365 days on record on today.

it would mean, as previously; that being 365 days old will get you the reward as listed.

so if your character is 365 days old on october 31st you will still get the gift at that date.

You’re kidding me. If they put him in guild wars 2 with impossible odds and Battle Scars he’d literally one shots everyone with the fact he’s unkillable.

He counters condition builds and he counters literally any berserker geared thief warrior or even mesmer.
Given the fact he life steals the highest damage he took in battle scars.

trying on this one with my thief with no success as i dont have enough regen against the random hits I take in phase2.

but what i want to know is do you have to throw 8 lights only in phase 2 (not counting the 3 of phase1) and do you get the achievement as soon as you achieve this or do you need to kill her?

Basically P1 and P2, so as soon as you see 5 vurnerability stacks it ussually means you have a total of 8 orbs thrown at her.
That is, if you dont have any natural vurnerability i think?

Best to damage her though.

I just did it as a Necromancer…

It’s unreasonably hard without a doubt.
And if arenanet so would do and nerf it down to 6/7 that would seem suffice.

One of the main things, because we Reaaaaly lack mobility and vigor as necromancers is to; equip staff, offhand dagger , well signet and condition removal in death shroud.
This way you will never ever have cripple and can actually managbe to get a fair ton of cripple present on her aswel so you can kite her around.

When there’s a mark on the floor for the illusions try to run left and right
Because as is, in P2 the map is competlely covered, but in pretty much every scenario the left and right side of where it’s supposed to drop will ussually be free of any aoe.

I’ll try and mash up better help later on, but this is the best i can do right now. Really have to do my dailies.

Actually just thieves and eles got it easy so as a matter of fact it’s unforgiven if you dont play them.

But, the fact that necromancers have no on the go (decent cooldown movement or vigor ) is what’s actually the problem here.

Timed dodgerolls or even fear works perfectly fine, try doing last boss on 8 orbs though. Just shows how limited mobility wise we actually are.

Vigor isn’t even present anywhere on the necro skill/trait tree

Stay around the middle on Phase 2,
Try to use the openings.
WHenever possible fear chain her up with a 30/30/10 or 30/20/20 build.
necrotic grasp; still like in GW1 can apparantly be dodged by strafing not neccessarily needing to use your V button to ddoge but just strafing around can prevent taking damage aswel.

I can try explain it a little later today, but i’ve been doing i for straight up 5 hours with no success, i’m absolutely frustrated at how impossible they amde this for necromancers.

Could you share the recorded video youd made for the orb achievement attempt.

I have literally done it 60-70 times for like hours with no success on my necromancer.

To be quite frank getting the crystals up in time is frustrating at best.

At a certain point you will jsut run out of dodgerolls or even condition removals.
It’s not unreasonable. It doesn’t really feel possible. And i’ve done pretty much every single achievement to date.

To the point it getting frustrating after 67 tries i do wonder if it was even worth the effort.

Killing on my necromancer is easy, but actually doing the 8 orb thing on a necromancer which has absolutely no vigor feels impossible

I’m not voting for any reason specifically, i just don’t like the idea of evon gnashblade turning the captain council into a business firm.

I’d much rather want a native lionguard to represent the captain council if any should do so.

Then again, i don’t really care for the rest nor should i feel influenced about anything else.

It’s pretty much certain Evon would win, but my vote would still go for ellen kiel.

Yes ive heard of people having 38/38 because theyve done the achievement before this was added. So yes, it’s very confusing.

As a side note, you’ve already earned just like 100% map completion even though they added new PoIs it doesnt require you to get them either. Think the system works like that. But could be wrong,.
At any rate, alot of people that did it didn’t get it, I’m still unsure if it’s a bug or not.

The Not so secret Diving goggles are either bugged or not working.

Done it twice and both times gave me nothing.
Besides that i’ve died several times for nothing =/

It doesnt give me a menu like the other goggles with salto etc.
Any confirmation on a fix or anything?
