TL;DR version: Warriors are powerful when using HB on mobs that don’t move.

This, and when conditions only stack to 25, and control has little effect on the toughest bosses. Nothing is rewarded in PVE except direct damage – not the fault of the warrior class, just bad mob design.

Pretty sure Torment will buff up the damage by a nice notch for necromancers, thieves and mesmers that want to go condition spec.

As for mob farming if you manage to hit 3-4 times with whatever instant ability you have you’ll get credit for it no matter how much dps it does. (considerably lower when there’s alot of damage being done by multiple classes)

If they keep this up as it is, im pretty sure they can balance it out

Curious wether these will ever be able to recieve a Mystic Forge Recipe to be infused as in (infused)
I know they can be made into ascended, just not certain regarding them ever becoming infused.

Tried to google it by a long shot haven’t come across anything related to it being put into the mystic forge as a (infused) recipe.

In the end i’ve seen my fair share of greatsword guardians dishing out insane amounts of damage.
You’re just limited and aren’t as mobile as a warrior, yet you have alot of abilities to grant you more survivability even though you feel extremely glassy in most scenarios.

Note that, the only downside to endure pain would be conditions still frequently being applied.

But, even on invurnerability if the conditions are present before you use any form of invurnerability it would mean the conditions would tick through the invurnerability.

So the only downside on Endure pain. as is, is that it gets conditions applied.

Futhermore the tooltip might indicate something different, but for common sense i’ve had no problem whatsoever understanding how the skill works.

For newer players it might indeed be helpful to change the description.

When i play my warrior, i ussually never go for Endure Pain anymore.
Just for the fact you might aswel burst people down with a solid setup along a guardian and a elementalist.

(Note, that i’m on about PvP.)
It feels pretty rash to call it a bad ability but in most situations i woulnt call it a formidable thing to consider using anymore.

Maybe it’s a great thing for WvW, but i wouln’t throw my 10 cents on it anymore.
It’s still pretty hard to balance a skill like that; VS Guardian invurnerability or Ranger Signet or even mist form from elementalists.

But, for what it’s worth i don’t believe it’s nice ability to run along with anymore with the Cooldown being just a tad too long.

Also, using shield to block off the damage might actually be more helpful.

The swap speed on warriors is fast enough to dish out constant pressure so remaining in defensive mode after you’ve been topped off is absurd.

So at any rate, it might need some tweaking, but it’s not something you’d require by a huge amount.

There’s no reason at all to ‘’Endure Pain’’ the damage when your being focused, might aswel use shield to dish off focus while i get topped back up to full health.

Alot of logic in splitting WvW from PvE. If youd were to nerf something from WvW which could mean a potential nerf in PvE for that specific class.
I don’t see any wrong footing from the team itself.

I find rangers incredibly imbalanced under water, better take one ranger bunker for raid of capricorn if they cycle it in tpvp. =x

Ok, there’s a bauble that some people have problems getting. Its after the first checkpoint and to the left in somewhere a bit obvious. There’s leafs above it but that’s not how I get to it. There’s a leaf to the right that extends close enough. Jump from there to the lowest part of the branch. If you’re lucky you’ll reach it.

After getting up here you’re on some branches you can’t get on normally. Does anyone know if this goes anywhere?

Nhalx, second one is as you’re climbing the petals. When you get on top of the giant tree stump that leads to the next bunch of flowers, look for the plateau nearby. It’ll be down a small passage on there.

There’s also TWO chests, both are located in the same area between checkpoints. the first one (inside the stump) is obvious enough…but that bloody second one!

Also there’s 3 baubles in the dark forest, where you have to use the candle to find your way.

Anet, scold the developer who hid that second chest, it was driving me insane why I wasn’t getting 100% on zone 2.

If you don’t agree with that, then we will not be able to agree on this one. To me Black is a color in GW2. And I do list white and black as colors in my world, right or wrong.

well, thats why he/she feels that way. Quaggans Blue colour is a common thing. All Quaggans are blue.

So that it’s a pink colour is actually a rare thing. Which is totally normal.

on 80 if you take a couple hours of farming 35G should be easily accessible.

You’re under the right impression, it doesn’t work on hit, it’s on skill,trait,sigil proc.

The only time you’d cancel 100b would probably be when you get kitten on by retaliation.

It’s extremely advice-able not to use auto attack, this is probably in PvE.
But, using auto attack in any way in PvP is just not the way you’re supposed to play.

For PvE i’d say;
Just, toggle it off and on by pressing and holding CTRL + Right click.
If you know any confusion would be present you can easily disable it just for that and re-enable it in an area without confusion.

Someone already stated it, but if you are auto attacking one keystroke over Escape will disable any attack currently being performed.

I can see it from a farmers point of view. Since i still use that farm spot daily to get gold.
Although, it does give a bit more of a challenge, which i don’t mind at all. especially when we had like 5/6 players it got considerably harder nad made it less boring then usual, but even when your around 20 players Aoeing it actually doesnt change it by that much, it just makes it alot more slow paced.

Commander is probably too easy to get for jsut a minor 100G.
With already 7 months in it’s obvious that alot of people got it by now.
On udnerworld (EU) i’ve seen 20 commanders at once at best in Lion Arch. That wasn’t when WvW was down.

I personally think i wouldn’t mind some sort of limitation on the amount of commanders in a specific area. your entire mini map gets filled up every now and then. Not saying to remove any of their functionality just the icon display can get a lot worse in a couple of months.

OP needs to grow up realize that its his/her decision to either log in or not. Skipping a daily far from something that can be called a “punishment” in any sense. A punishment is when the game deducts something you earned, not denies you something you clearly dont deserve. You decide your goals and how and why you achieve them. If getting ascended gear is your obsession, FotM is clearly a better method.

I don’t agree with your idea of what “punishment” is, but I’ll work with it. Take player A and player B.

• Player A plays 20 hours a week; all primarily on weekends. He completes 3 dailies total: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

• Player B plays for 10 hours a week. Player B logs on for about half an hour every day to complete dailies and does FotM 3 times a week.

As far as ascended gear goes, Player A will always be behind Player B even though Player A puts forth more effort.

That is where many people are getting upset. They want to work towards something, but with the time gates on amulets, accessories, and even rings with FotM dailies, time is the greatest obstacle. It doesn’t matter if you are super fast at clearing dungeons, it doesn’t matter that you are a Master Crafter and like making your own gear, and it doesn’t matter if you prefer simply hanging out in WvW.

If you don’t do your daily, FotM, and now Guild Missions, you will be behind. Period. They are taking away our ability to play the way we prefer and still be rewarded.

4. ‘A’ putting in more effort is YOUR opinion. Total time spent =/= more effort. Its 1 effort. Taking time everyday is also 1 effort. Thus both efforts are the same except only one is in line with the requirements.

I’m sorry but i completely agree with him, all the complaining so far is indeed a bunch of whiners that wants handouts.

If you steadily look throughout the months they’ve indeed added alternative ways to get it. Not to mention the talk about laurels going to be easier accessible by completing some of the ’’new’’ achievements which is also a bit skeptical.

But all in all, if you look throughout the past months al they’ve been doing is adding alternative ways to acheive your goal which as a ’’casual’’ wasn’t doable by just farming Fractals.

No, i ussually get between 5-10 (running wireless, so it’s not as fast as my actual download speed.) MB download over in europe.

EU connection is actually not as bad as you think, it’s more or less that in the US alot of people are working or at school.

Over here it’s like 22/23/24-.00 ?
So alot of people are downloading at the same time, which resolves in a mad drop, i’m hovering between 600-700kb and occassionally dropping down to 5 kb

I’m at 54% right now.
Sometimes dips down to 10 KB per sec then goes back up, it’s just busy.
Give it some time.

Once we find out if we can infuse the amulets via the mystic forge, the whole utility slot thing might really go to magic find and gold find even in fractals as if you can, you can get your agony resist quite a bit up there with the built-in agony resistance, freeing you up to put whatever infusion you want in your gear, and as such, extra gold and magic find is going to be way better than 4 points of a stat since 4 points at level 80 has zero measurable effect.

p.s. A player who dies 3 times in the first room of a dungeon is a bad player. All the stats in the world won’t help. You can try to explain mob mechanics of the specific dungeon to see if that helps, but it’s going to be a longshot. Thankfully, most dungeons can be 3 and 4 manned so you can get prolly get away with carrying them.

That’s assuming all ascended pieces will offer the utility slot. At the moment, only amulets offer that choice so it really is just a question of +4/5 or +20% GF/MF. Even if the utility slot becomes more common, the comparison remains the same. You’ll be comparing +60/65 to one stat to 240% more gold. That’s a lot of coin.

you seriously think anet is going to allow a 240% bonus to gold? i’m not a gambler, but i’m willing to bet my entire year’s income, house and car that that won’t happen.

Valuta difference shouldn’t even be accounted for, there’s plenty of companies asking you to pay for something for lets say. 10 dollars and down in Europe for about 15 euros.

When the 10 dollars and the 10 euros are becoming a problem, i don’t see fit why. Since it’s not like the average American household earns more then a European household.
Some European households even have an higher average.

I trashed 250+ G on Rares that never got a Exotic out of it.
But for what it’s worth, there are recipes that aren’t RNG, so i fail to see what the exact problem is regarding it.
They already announced an alternative way to get precursors so to my udnerstanding the RNG is totally up to the player from that point on.

I can still make Recipes like mystic weaponry to whatever else sparkly i can get my hands on.

The other problem i might understand are the mystic clvoers, but yu still recieve something in return from it that actually benefits you in a way towards a legendary weapon.

I think you should just ignore those people, and happily roleplay with the people that do like to do so.

We’re playing a MMO-RPG for what it’s worth most of the people complaining about roleplayers are kids that just want to spoil the fun for the people that just want to emerge in a world that isn;t their own.

People have very little understanding towards it.

I think the expansion zone will most likely be the Far Shiverpeaks. This Flame and Frost has to be building up to something in that general area.

Yes, as a matter of fact it is indicating that the whole content build up is mostly for the northern regions.
