We get that pretty often too. Its extremely bad connection to the game and very high ping. You ever try to rez someone and they end up being glitched? basically the same thing.

Protip, the RAM/HOPE group and ATK/GLOB groups both individually had enough to pop orange swords on NPCs. All togehter it had to be close to 55-60~ people. We had 45~ people at our peak in the night, not including NAGA.

Everyone knows that no matter what server you’re on you always have maybe 15-20 on you with 10 or so pugs and the enemy has kitten – 60 man blob.

But we constantly counted. After the first few hours we had an average of about 35 people on the commander, and several dedicated to sentrying. We just spent the last 7 weeks fighting T1, we know what 60 man blobs look like.

FA is impressive in their tenacity as much as they are as un impressive in combat. I’ve never seen so many flee open field fights with even numbers before. We thought TC was squishy during leagues but we forgot what real squish was. However you still got that good scouting discipline that might just win this for you. Unlike TC that let us take Hills without a fight (so close to a WP too.)
TSF, good fights but you need to be ALL perplexity mesmers, your necros kept getting killed.
Lastly, the two GS + hammer guys from NOPE, sorry for fighting dirty. I was on my Zerg build and couldn’t give the fight you deserved.

You stayed on the map? I had assumed that the only SoS people on FABL were those BLNT guys. Also what did you expect from bandwaggon groups? Surely you’ve faced them before.

Its been a wonderful week full of nothing but great fights! I expect nothing less from SoS or Mag. As much as I wish we’d meet up again tomorrow night, I’d really like to see what kind of punches FA and SBI can throw now.

Oh no friend, I’ve been in an even fight with you before. When you dont GS charge and run half way across the map just to avoid getting focused its actually fun. Getting kited across the map in a single fight =/= fun to fight. Sorry.

No, you are supposed to blame a PuG for the AC. How are you going to keep the “we too L337 for siege” image going if you just claim there wasn’t one when they saw it.

Also I’m fairly sure it wasnt AoN, but vulture type of play from them is believable. They’ve stood off and jumped into fights before. Go as far as to spawn camp and then run away as fast as possible when they get even number fights as well. Either that, or they’re just kiting, which they seem to be the kings of. Started last night off by killing NOPE in our North Camp and Garrison, had fun fighting them, fought NAGA and EP at our West Keep, Agg outside our garrison, about an hour of roaming then joined the collaborative effort of KH and Commander Xushin in TCBL, this was a VERY fun night… Can we keep this up the rest of the week? I hope so. Congratulations commander Xushin on GOLD INVADER.

Well we took the garrison with basically no resistance. We came to the north camp to draw out the fights and we certainly got them! But why all the arrow carts in the fights? Every time we rolled up on you guys fighting NAGA or EXS, you had an arrow cart in the back

The moral of the story? BAGS FOR EVERYONE! RAINING BAGS! FULL OF SPIKES AND CLAWS!

Was a fun and silly night on Magbl tonight! Thanks to Agg/NS/EP for being guinea pigs for our training night. Sorry we couldent put up more of an organized fight, we were kind of focusing on avoiding and dodging.

How about no? I understand the idea of wanting more coverage, but this stupid arms race in T1 has gotten completely out of control since seasons started, and lower tiers are a shell of what they used to be just 6~ months ago (IE TC v DB v FA, or KN in tier 2)

I get why people on SOR and JQ hate some BG so much, I mean for heavens sake were only 1 day into it and yall are claiming champion this, and undefeated that crap. No offense guys but we all know what is going on with seasons. Just get out there and enjoy a HEALTHY T1 matchup with fights and good strategy around every corner. If you venture out of this thread and to other other threads on this forum, you will realize that the BG chest thumping actually gets worse than this. Regarding the matchup, at this moment, there’s nothing JQ and SOR can do especially that IRON has left SOR. If you notice, BG takes over the lead once again during EU time. It’s the weekends so NA can probably log in earlier, but during weekdays, it’s another 4 to 5 hours of uncontested capping by BG. Let’s hope season 2, both JQ and SOR can get a few EU guilds to make this time zone a little more competitive.

Or lets hope there isn’t a season 2.

I dont believe I insulted them for something they cant help, or rubbed anything in their faces about previous wins/losses other than them bragging. What comes around goes around, and they had at least that much coming.
Someone last week stated correctly that PPT is a sign of coverage, not courage, and I have a lot of respect for the enemies that came out every day to fight for their server.

I’ll just leave that up to the HUGE amount of fairweather that no one seems to want to admit to, but it seems we have two 1.5 tier servers as of right now. Either way it was close all week long, and we had fun with it.

I had to leave without much warning last night, but I had a good night of duels around ruins/south camp in SoR BL last night. I’m pretty awful in 1v1 situations and I wasnt using a good build for it. I cut it early to pick up sentry duty though, so thanks for the good fights.

Please Anet, fix earthshaker before you nerf it into the ground.

Look at the score. SoR did an amazing job of closing the gap today…. actually upon looking at the score it seems not much ground was covered, but still, ticking higher than JQ for basically all day long isnt anything to sneeze at.

This is going to sound like trolling (it isn’t) but is a genuine thought.
If a T1 server can so manipulate the score to allow a T2 server to beat another T1 server, is the server (being 2v1’d) really a top server anymore?
I’ve never seen that scenario pulled off. I’ve also never seen two servers of a lower tier 2v1 to bring the higher tier down but that’s just because people suck.

Or maybe because some people like the idea of a 3 way fight? NOTHING compares to jumping into the middle of a sea of SoR and Mag, even if you only have like 20~ people and instantly wipe.

I’m sorry but SoR has been known to throw excuses around quite a lot… I’m not disagreeing about entire communities leaving or moving on, but you still cant deny all the claims of “training weeks”.
Realistically TC would not be ahead of SoR right now without JQ helping. Every matchup we’ve had with JQ, the other two servers PPT has been decided by who they decide to focus. So much so that Mag nearly caught up to TC one week.

TW didn’t disband. Lost some members and are not playing every night like they used to. Tbh I couldn’t care less about being behind TC. We went months and months being outmanned during ocx/sea/eu. It’s nothing new.

I just hope finally the T1 servers stop with the “arms race” and try to even out the other Tiers before season 2 starts.

TC is weaker than they’ve been in months, SoR must be looking a lot different these days if they can’t catch up.

Morale is really low on SoR right now. BG faced a similar problem just before leagues begun and that’s why everyone thought BG were the underdogs.

I wouldn’t really say it’s a morale issue. People are just leaving the game altogether due to boredom and the lack of caring for this game mode by ANet. One can only do the same thing night in and night out for so long until it starts to become a chore.

I played a terrible game this last weekend that I can’t name due to an NDA. That just shows the desperation that many are starting to come to on this game.

WvW is really boring. It’s easy to look past it’s flaws when you’re winning because the fun is in winning. But once you look at it from the perspective of a server that’s outnumbered on every map almost every hour of the day, it’s really kittening lame.

You either turtle in your towers with 25 arrow carts or you die over and over again. Neither one of those options is even remotely fun.

I used to always complain about TC turtling/no showing versus us but now I understand. Let me apologize to every TC player I’ve ever talked kitten to, you were just doing what you had to.

Honestly, I’d rather bang my head against a wall than play against BG or JQ at least that way I wouldn’t be so bored.

Sounds like you could use a vacation to a lower tier server to see it from another perspective. If the only reason you play WvW is to win at the end of the week, you’re missing out on why people on losing servers keep playing.
