Then let your server know these guys pulled this nonsense and did nothing to help defend your borders in the aftermath (read the replies carefully, they avoid answering definitively). So, I looked a bit back and see that a handful of FA ruined some event put together by a TC player. That’s expected, really, considering most players don’t read the forums and have no idea that people actually do that kind of thing. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous how some of you guys are stroking your egos over getting an already, always outnumbered server down to 0 points in the middle of the night for most of us. Especially considering the fact that you know we’re tough as nails when we actually have people online. Where are these mature people your server claims to be populated with? Tsk.

The situation is over and TC got their revenge.

It was a CD player who came up with the event, and members from all 3 servers were in attendance. The two guilds who attacked and ruined it knew about it before hand from the forums and made SURE to be in the area at the time. They proceeded to troll the forums and stir up a rage that ended up hurting their server as a whole.

This thread was killed by everyone involved across every server. Just because you stabbed the body after someone else doesn’t mean you didn’t contribute to its death.

I didn’t waste my time sifting through the trash of the past few pages, so I’m not saying “you” personally, Nickthemoonwolf. Just anyone/everyone who fed off of this drama in any way, shape, or form, regardless of who started what.

I hope those on the TC side can put a close to this little episode. We’ve had our fun, and the scoreboard and screenshots speak for themselves. There’s no need to beat on this dead horse and poison the matchup any further. I always thought of tier 3 as one of the most calm and mature tiers compared to the others, and we’re currently veering further and further from that by the minute.

It gets worse with each week. You guys and FA have been against eachother repeatedly, and people are getting unpleasant because of it. CD for the post part doesn’t care, but it’s only our first week back in T3 after the little dip we took into T4. Eventually, we’re going to be going through a lot of threads, due to them being closed.

If the cooperation of todays events can happen between our worlds, I’d say we can be friendlier for longer than we could with FA. Both worlds have been with eachother for long enough to pick up negative aspects of both and continue to bicker endlessly about them. Most of which I havent seen with CD

TC didn’t exactly demolish two other servers at the same time. PiNK and the people that follow them destroyed FA while CD did some light raiding. CD eventually pulled back to handle the rest of TC who had decided to come to our borderlands because “Hey, our server is active. Let’s do this!”

Plus CD is really low motivation by Thursday anyway. We tend to think this day doesn’t count, or at least the NA players do.
-Not to devalue anyone that’s trying to hold TC back, but there just isn’t the population tonight. You might as well hang out in Eternal if you want actual fights.

Good on you guys defending. I have more respect for you guys at CD than I ever have after todays events, and I think this last bit is just us wanting some competition since we’ve already gotten all we can out of FA for the time being.

Regardless of how things went, I still had fun with the TINY bit of the march that did happen, and I made friends in both CD and FA from the event. I hope the mods dont just flat out close the thread, and I also hope they take care of the obvious trolls that are keeping this arguing going.

No one speaks for ANY server as a whole. TC has some good players, but as far as being organized? Its laughable when we dont have a commander on the map. We owe our success to the commanders completely.

Well I hope next time there is a truce in the jumping puzzle or a fight club in Ogres that BT and PD will come “play the game” then too. I’m so disgusted at FA right now. Specifically BT. They didn’t know about the event until I told them an hour before. They still went in and ruined it for everyone. In fact, see you guys in a few days. I guess its time to run some dungeons, or god help me, some fractals.

We also had a WvW event planned in CD before hand. It was an inevitable clash. We appologize for all the problems, next time maybe TCBL might be a good place for a TC RP party since it’s not as busy at night.

We should have done that in the first place. It was only in CDBL because it was a CD who came up with it in the first place.

Obviously this was all a masterstroke trap created by FA to ruin the moral of TC and CD so they can get first place.

Also, I dont think I’ve ever seen chest thumping over killing people who dont fight back. Its actually a very sad sight, and I’m sorry that FA has to have their reputation hurt by this.

To the guilds who crashed our party, thanks for giving TC a reason to stay in WvW next week. I also think your garrison looks good when its not red.

Perhaps if you wear the DOLY tag, the CD players will have mercy on you as you make your way north. There is also, apparently, a guild with the tag DUEL that you can join if you want to duel players from other servers.

I’m fairly certain that like…five people will show up, and randoms will end up killing all of us and the yak. XD But whatever, it’s about having fun.

You would be surprised. There are a good large handful of us in TC looking forward to this!

Its litterally just you being negative so far. You guys man large enough forces off of your prime time to be big threat. Everyone knows that TC has more numbers in general, you dont have to keep reminding people. What the other guy tells you is true, durring the day in NA we have more people than any other time, and now is about the time I’ve known FA to push hard with GODS, and shortly after that CD should be pushing with their usual time slot.

Also, thanks to the FA zerg that left me alone yesterday in CDBL at champions while I was getting vistas. Getting the north skill points was a bit harder with CD though. A few knew what I was doing but it dosent take many to bring down someone who bows at you and dosent fight back.

I love hearing about how thieves need to be nerfed and changed when there is really nothing wrong with them. I main a Necro, and I come across 1v1 scenarios with thieves from time to time. There are three types of scenarios that I typically see play out.
1. I get hit off guard by a glass cannon, and I’m down and dead in a matter of seconds.
2 and 3. I see the thief before the attack initiation and I am prepared for combat. The thief either ends up downed or running away with little to no health remaining, whether perma-stealth built or not.

The classes are well balanced and don’t need changes. The culling is an issue that needs to be addressed, but that will help everyone out. Learning to play your class better and or staying in a group will help you counter glass cannons any day as they sacrifice HP for DPS.

It seems like you didn’t get the problem with thief. Just read all thread again pls…

it seems like you dont get why only a select few cough casuals cough have a problem with thieves. these same rogue QQ threads pop up in every MMO and it’s sad players refuse to learn how to counter a stealther.

This is just straight up denying a problem. They are currently a LITTLE too unbalanced compared to every other class, maybe save DD eles. I lock them in place a lot to keep them where I want them, and swing around like a mad man when they stealth and watch for chains. It typically works out for me and I havent had a big problem other than what I have already posted about personally, but the idea that they can do the damage they do and be able to take the amount of beating they can makes it a little off to me.

Main problem I have with thieves are that they can finish while stealthed. As a warrior the most I can do is interupt you ONCE. If you give me enough time to get back up you are doing it wrong, but good grief you dont have to stealth to get the kill. If I had an escape abillity while downed you would still miss the finish, so why bother? Grumble grumble.

Other than that, burst thieves and glass cannons typically just splat against me and melt unless they actually have skill in what they are doing.

I’d be willing to bet most of the D/D elementalists you see are recent converts to the dark side. Staff may be “better” for support, but it’s hard to support much if you’re dead. Focus is just horrible except for blocking projectiles. Scepter is ok, but useless against fotm thieves (the other 50% of WvW population). That leaves D/D as the best all around option, until you meet a class with some CC or boon removal, then it’s still the best option since you might at least be able to escape.

That was some epic fun on TCBL the other night, I don’t mind the 2v1, it’s a refreshing change. For the last couple weeks I’ve gotten the impression our enemies are scared of our BL, probably our fault for defending so tenaciously, but I won’t appologize for that ;p.

I laughed harder than I should have at this quote. Personally I’m loving the challenge behind the 2v1, it gives something for our day crew to do! (TC)

I haven’t been on yet today or seen score, but I’m almost certain that unless CD can maintain their hold 24/7 until reset, first place is pretty much held by TC. I WOULD love to see FA make a push for second though, I get excited when I see the two scores get close, and I really do love the 1v1v1 situations most. FA has the potential to get a lot of work done and push ahead of CD, and I feel that CD is more than capable of defending from such a thing.

This is not me complaining about 2v1, its just me saying I enjoy the idea of it being more than just us against one big group.

From a TC player, I just had to come here to mention the fight over Hills on CD BL where FA was defending. That had to be some of the most fun I’ve had in several nights, and it was really tense there at the end. CD swooped in and wiped us, and we just spawned and threw ourselves at the lords room to hopefully block a capture, when it turns out that FA was still there holding people off! We had no idea at the time. To any FA member in the lords room, you might remember a red/gold/purple charr who pushed his way all the way into the lords room to say hi!

It was a great fight on every side from what I could tell! I was just getting back to the keep when we capped it, so I missed what happened at the end.
