Hi guys,some of you may remember me from the “Preview” thread some time ago(the name “preview” was changed in a longer thread name).What was that thread about?Well it was about removing the ability to preview armors that we can’t wear like rangers to have the ability to preview heavy and light armors,guardians to preview medium and light etc.After few days with that thread growing and everyone wanting the feature back we got first an answer(the answer was on another thread),the answer was that it was intended.The thread was growing more and we got the second answer this time on the “preview” thread,i don’t remember the answer and can’t find the thread but they said that preview will be back.The time has passed and the feature is not back,if all that “you will get preview back” was just to make us “shut our mouth” and forget about it,well i will not forget and is still the feature that i care most and yea,are a lot of things that are more important to be fixed but we had the prview and you took it.If they have/had in mind to work on it at least they should have left it and changed it in it’s final form.You know what i think,we wont get preview back and all that you will get it back was just to “shut our mouth”.What do you think?

So my fight for this is finished with a victory.A victory for anet and a victory for us.Ty JonPeters for this and ty anet.

I can understand that what they made was fixing a bug(that’s what they say)..but since that “bug” is not affecting pvp,pve or anything i think that if we want it back we should have it back.

So since all this thing is not a bug that does not mean that we should stop.They removed a feature even if that feature was not supposed to exists.I think that our opinion matter but lets hope that not matters only for us players,lets hope that matter for them too.

Sadly yea,i have seen that post myself,they changed it so was intended but that dont stop us to be against this change.Is a preview and we want it back.

I think so,at least is something.We can’t gen an answer but the dev/mod ….send ppl here so this thread is known by them.

I have not yet needed that preview feature, but I can see how it could be a pain not having that functionality.
Another point: Just remember that the ANet people are the experts, not us.

What has to do the fact that they are the experts,they are so experts that they can take preview away and so experts that i should not say a thing about it…i dont get it.I dont like (many dont like) the remove of preview and as nothing to do with who is expert…

They usually don’t answer for a while (Some things have gone for quite some time without an answer still)… I’m honestly not surprised.

Is sad that i see answers from devs to another topics/threads.So they avoid answering is not like they are not there.

Is sad how the topic has 24+ hours and all this 24h was on the first page and didn’t get an answer.They avoid to answer or they dont check the forum?

I love the game,and i dont care much about many changes but i maybe become a pain writing again about the preview,from my “i love anet” (in some way) i went to (anet=backstabing the players and not even saying),and they nerf every way to make gold…thats not fun,but mainly i dont like the preview and if you dont like it too you can check the “Preview” topic and support it

Another dev undercover,they dont take a break…

Grind of Wars 2 or Guild of grind 2 or Grind 2… i know grind should be in a mmo but many aspects of the gw2 start to becaome overgrindy…

I will check in every hour or so until we get an answer or until the preview will be fixed because intended or not must be fixed.

“Go away” thats not nice at all ….just kidding.Well my post has a bit f sarcasm and my response was just based on the actual situation of the forum and the amount of negative topics.I like the game,and i would have create the same thread/topic like this one but lately some changes are not so good and i start to see anet in a negative way,i still love the game but the game is not improved is just lead in a way and not the way the players want.Anyway support the “Preview” topic if you agree with me and others.

You have a point but whats the bug here…is that a real bug that i can preview the items,i dont see it like a bug and the bug would be how it is now…

strangely enough weapons unuseable by current profession are still previewable…

Thats why i have a small,tiny hope that is a bug.

Another patch,small one and still no preview…Many ppl forget that the games are made for players and we buy this games with money,we support them,we pay for the bills they have,we feed them and all i want is justice and make my voice heard.So many people are used to shut their mouths even if they dont agree with the changes but we are the people who keep the game alive,the game is made for us and in change we pay them for that. I am sure that the preview remove was intended and we want it back.

I will fight for this and i wont give up!

23/24 hours since this thred/topic is up,a simple “Yea is a bug and we will fix it or was intended and we will never fix it because is nothing to fix” would be nice.I dont ask for a fix on sunday,mondey or other day,i ask first an answer and even if is sunday,(in many countries is not) ppl are still working because the game can not run without ppl.
A thing that got my attention,in a topic about mesmer bug , “Evan Lesh”,i dont know if he is a dev, gm or mod,explains about why the bug occured with mesmers : " We’re aware. Should be able to fix it up on Monday. It’s part of the gear-locking change. We’ll probably turn gear-lock back off for a bit, and then push the real fix asap."

Is this “gear-locking” = can’t preview other armors type?

So preview thing was intended?

We are still here and still unhappy.

My guess is that some people purchased items by accident because they assumed that if they could try it on, the item was usable for their character.

This can be the only reason,but for someone’s mistake why should the others be affected?!

Im glad that im not the only one who is against the preview remove.We have to increase the number of players supportig this thing.Maybe is a minor thing compared with other changes but this bothers me the most.If you “land” on this thread/topic dont be just a “view” show us that you also care.

Not yet fixed,but if this is intened well i will be sure to fight for it t be changed back.This little thing like preview makes me just think that every people saying that the games goes in a wrong direction are right,never been agains anet and the changes/patches they have implemented but this one…

Keep this topic alive,we deserve to know if is a bug or it was intended.I start to think that is a bug since the weapons that are not for my class i can preview but the armors can’t.Hope to be a bug.

I have only one question,what is the reason behind the remove of previewing on armors that your class can’t wear. I dont agree with this change,i have to log on another character to preview a piece of armor?! I enjoy the game and since i bought it i never had something bad to say about it but this small thing bothers me a lot.Just why?
