No because its embarassing to invite people to a game with only one meta. The people I have invited before have left after only a short time. I learned my lesson.

The most common complaints I got from friends:
- Nobody plays this (Megaserver will partly solve this)
- Nobody wants me in their party (Speed clearing/ DPS metagame)
- The game is too zergy (paritally solved by EOTM).
- The combat is too simple (has yet to be addressed in any way, shape or form).
- There are no expansions, or plans for any expansions.
- Living story is unapproachable to new players due to being unreplayable.

Getting a guild would help most of those “issues”.

Any of you brought friends/family in the game or plan to do it,since is more accessible now?
I will gift the game to my cousin in 2 days and he will bring a friend.
It will be nice to see a flow of new players.

2 mmos,Wildstar and Eso?
Both subscription based,players will get bored and come back to the non subscription based game,ofc some will not come back but ESO is nothing more than GW2 2.0.Everyone will love the game because is a new thing but like GW2 after a while gets boring….not the new thing anymore (1500 hours + still not boring for me)

In 2 days my cousin will join the game and he will bring another friend in the game,another reason for me to play even more…we lose players…and we get players..the life of an mmo.

I don’t see the problem with the UI,is one of the best UI i saw in a game,it doesn’t take much from your screen,the skill,hp,buffs are well placed.
I think you are too used with the other games where you can move everything.
And i don’t think they will ever allow the players to move things around.The UI is like a trademark ,when you watch a pic or a video if you saw the UI you just know is GW2 without any aditional infos etc.
Anyway,i can understand why would you guys want to move things around…resize,played many mmos in the past, but imo the only thing that should be added would be a resize only,not sidebars etc. To be able to hotkey food etc. would be the only thing i wouldn’t mind having in the game.
But this is just my opinion…

Sadly i have a job and i was kinda exhaused so i missed 2 or 3 sales.
One of the missed sale was THE SALE….Braham Mace and Shield.

They give you free dyes on alts and you still complain?
You bought 5 same dyes for 5 chars?
You still have what you bought.
Did Anet remove your dyes?No,they give you the same dye for free for alts.

But your problem is simple:
“Why someone who bought one dye is equal with me since i bought 5 same dyes?”
Nobody FORCED you to buy dyes,you bought GEMS,you got your GEMS,you can buy 1000 dyes,you get what you spent your GEMS on + free dyes for future alts.

Next time think about what you write.

You chose a hairstyle that has some “metal” on it…that is your hairstyle,when you equip a helm than the little box will apear to hide the equiped helm and see your hair..

I have 2 skins in my inventory,Viper’s and Aetherblade Light. If i use them after the system implementaion, the skins will be available but i will not get any charges with them?
Is like buying the skin but not being able to use them.(they lose the one time use on an armor or that transforms in charges,like getting 6 charges for a skin bought from gem shop,to be able to apply them on an armor?)

And if i use them now on an armor,after the wordrobe implementation the armor will have the skin applied or the original skin and the skin applied unlocked?(and again going back at the 1st question)

If the answer was in the blog post,sry but i failed to find it.

I don’t say something like that is not nice…but shouldn’t be on the priority list,is still an optional thing.

I have an ideea for ANET how to make more income.
Sell in the gem shop items that will make a soulbound item,account bound.
Consumable sold in bulks of 6 ,1 for every piece.
One time use only.If you souldbound your item on another char (or the same) you have to buy again those to make the same item account bound.
maybe 1000 gems per bulk.(shouldn’t be cheap)
You can call it “Nury’s Bounder” or something like that…

Players are mentioning why Rangers use only bow and not melee too,when someone asked you why you use only staff on ele,only gs on war or only hammer on war etc. and don’t switch? Many players think they can dictate what weapons should the ranger use because thy think that’s better.Be sure you do your job with your class and if the ranger sucks kick or do whatever you want but don’t ask a ranger to play with what weapon you want him to play since nobody tells you what weapon to use.

Ranger has poor dmg?
20k dmg with Rapid Fire in a legendary boss,4k crit with auto attack in most of the players in wvw(both without food or bloodlust stacks).You can build your ranger to not take any dmg for many seconds.
Ranger is my favourite class,played on it 1000+ hours and i can asure you many wars,ele etc. wish to have my dps.

No wings…pls no wings…i always hated wings in a game wehre you can’t fly,for me even the wings we have now are just … not appropriate to the world.

I am Nury,the leader of Balthazar Order,an awesome guild from Underworld server.
With the free transfer many players and guilds left the server and i can understand why,we are not good in WvW or in PvE,but that doesn’t mean the server has bad players.
There were some rivalries between guilds and because of that,few times the guilds were gathering to do something.
What the server is lacking is a direction,everything is random.I would love to see Underworld become better but i don’t know how many players care for the server.
I started playing on Underworld 521 days ago had a big break,some months ago i came back,i played a lot on Underworld and it does not matter how bad it gets i will never leave it and i will always try to improve it.

If you want to make a difference join our server,be one of the players who fight to make Underworld a better place.
If you are a new player,we can help you to get to a level where you can help others and the server,Balthazar Order always have a free spot for players who want to be part of it.

I have a big problem with a thing.Saying that because in GW2 there are not skimpy armors for males but for females are,is sexist.
This is the same with League of Legends,before they had Lucian players were saying Riot games is racist because they don’t have a black champion.

So if i don’t have a black friend that makes me racist?
If i don’t date a guy that makes me homophobe?

Being sexist,racist,homophobe means you do/say something against those groups not that you don’t do/say anything at all.

I say YES for more armor variety but not skimpy male or female armor.
Want skimpy,go play TERA.I enjoyed the skimpiness in TERA,but there it fits the setting.

Well….idk if this helps…but this is how i run around…

Guild Bank already has restrictions.New guild members can’t withdraw from the guild bank for 24 (or 48 or….i don’t remember how many hours) and you can add restrictions yourself through ranks.You let others to “steal” from your guild bank..

Underworld is not good at WvW or PvE but there are many amazing players.Imo one of the biggest problem and i said it many times,in Underworld everyone wants to be a guild leader,we have countless guilds with 6-20 players in them,splitting the players in so many guilds does not help.You speak about few players influencing the server,i think nobody is influencing the server,everyone is doing random things even when is about bosses like Tequatl/Wurm.Is like speaking to a dog…he waves his tail…you think he understood but after you finish talking he will start doing what he wants.

One thing i can say about Underworld,is a friendly server,not much flame,insults going on in the “public”.

Anyway,whatever will happen,started 500+ days ago on Underworld,i will stay here.

Dueling is not needed,is just an optional feature.Is true that many players want to duel and is not a bad thing i can gladly accept dueling in an open world arena like the one in black citadel or instanced arena.If you want to duel with your friends i don’t see why would you be against instanced,arenas etc.But usualy the players that duel in open world are dueling to show that they are better than someone else,that leads to verbal abuse many times,trolling etc. and if you say that’s not true,it means you haven’t played that many mmos.

I say NO for open world dueling but YES for instanced/arena dueling.

So many negative comments…I love how everyone si demanding everything to be 100% fine when something is released.There is no AAA title,offline or online that realeases dlc’s or other stuff,even the game itself without bugs.Be patient or come on the forum and start crying,,i know the LA had some buggs,still a bit buggy, but that does not mean you have to go ape kitten and demand that everything should work perfect at realease.I am glad Anet fixes everything fast when it comes to Living World.

I just got back myself. I played it briefly when it was launched but quit a few months in because my friends stopped playing it and got bored playing alone.

Recently I finished FF14’s latest content and decided to give GW2 another shot. Am absolutely loving it! Its really improved a lot since the early days. I hope this game will continue to improve and last for more years to come.

If you need a guild and you play on Underworld…or any EU server….whisper me in game or send a mail if you want to join.

The problem is not Anet is the ppl who think the LS is a " temporary grind for achievements, rewards and zerging". All i see is me saving Lion’s Arch,there is no grinding for me,zerging?!?!? It’s a war,do you see in war parties of 5 fighting other party of 5 or stuff like that? Are you forced to get all those achievements? I like to have everything that i like,that’s why i am full ascended and i will get the skin from the LS,the title etc.That is not grind for me and if you think that’s a grind well better don’t do it.

Grind my have a different definition for others,i consider grind the champ farms,that’s why i don’t do that…

Complaining about a skin that has no effect on gameplay,stats etc.
I wish the release more and more skins so we can support this game.

I understand that many players from GW1 bought and supported GW2 but don’t expect to get something from that,why should you expect to get something,and you still get an armor skin,titles,achievement points,exclusive pets for the ranger,isn’t that enough?
You should be glad they add skins from gw1 in the game,buy them to support gw2 if you want.You speak about how hard was to get those weapons in GW1…yea in GW1,this is GW2,we have here other weapons hard to get aka legendaries.This is not GW1.

Complain about it,they will reduce the drop rate + will increase the materials req for some items + they will add materials req for existing items that don’t req those materials and you get a very unhappy community….because you have too many of those…destroy them and you are done.

Lazy players…i would consider something like this if you had to use them every 1 min or even 5 min…but 30 min…no need to add more things to the interface.

They couldn’t get it working on AC black flag in multiplayer so i think it would be hard to do it.It’s a lot about syncronizing ships and players etc.It can be done but i think they don’t have enough funds to focus on that and other stuff,it would be a very high risk for a feature that seems so optional.I don’t say it would not be nice to have naval battle but is too much to work on and it might slow down bug fixes , updates etc. and that would make many players unhappy for a thing that is a “bonus” feature since naval battles is not a feature we need,is a feature we want.

GW2 will never have the lvl cap raised because it does not work that way.
Every item tier introduced will be harder to get like the ascended,will not be based on the lvl,in gw2 20 more lvls is nothing,even 40…the leveling is so easy and fast.
Anet never said the lvl cap will be increased(they said something like "to add more levels to the game) but by levels they mean depth , diversity etc. not actual lvls.

Having more queen minis means you can have on all your characters so you don’t have to move them from char to char.
Lvl 20 boost ,i had only 2 lvl 80,came in handy for my 3rd char.
Birthday gift…i think everyone likes that buff.

This is not GW1,understand that and you might enjoy the game even more.

I hate crafting,but i have ascended weapon and ascended armor set.If you want ascended you have to craft,simple as that.(or wait forever for a lucky drop).
Crafting is so easy in this game…i really don’t understand some ppl.
“I hate crafting but i want ascended”….You know what you really want,youw ant to get ascended fast and easy…that’s not gonna happen.

This game will never have an increased lvl cap because GW2 does not work like that.The leveling is more like tutorial for dodge,learning skills,buffs debuffs.In GW2 is not like other games"we introduce new items and a new lvl cap to be able to use them".
More items will be added but you will not need a higher lvl cap to use them,you will have harder ways to get them.

And don’t think you will have a new lvl cap because they will add new skills,the skills right now are not bound to the lvl.
