there’s many people who have this problem since last patch, all different ISP, around the world. problem suddenly appears when 5 months of lag-free gaming.

You know how when you have chronic knee or back pain, after a while you don’t notice it as much because you are so used to it.

My game is now freezing!

I have same problem, my computer can run 3 instances of Battlefield 3 and I am using fiber optic internet. I have NEVER in the 6 months of playing gw2 experienced what I am experiencing now, so it is NOT, i repeat, NOT a problem on my end.

Ever since last patch I have been hacing serious skill lag, rubber-banding, disconnects.

I thought it was just my warrior at first, but it’s all classes, including my thief

I would say this problem should be a high priority fix.

How do we get ANet’s attention about this ._.

I’ve been having serious skill lag. Some skills take 5+ seconds to go off after me pressing the button. My computer is a beast, no changes in my internet or drivers or anything, this happened suddenly.

I am only finding this with the warrior class. Whenever I use a skill, for example the Greatsword Whirlwind Attack, the skill takes almost a full second to go into animation after I press down the skill #3 key.

It is not lag as I re-logged to thief and everything was much faster in response. It is not the map, I tried in wvw, LA, starter zone, etc.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Rangers are very good as condition trap builds with shortbow, they are Tanky + Ridiculous bleed damage.

I put in a ticket as soon as I noticed I got banned. About 20 minutes later I was unbanned, probably when Gaile first posted in this thread.

I check today and there’s a automated-response from NCSOFT asking me to verify my purchase with proof blah blah before they can assist further, all the while I am not even banned anymore.

After seeing some other awesome character art, I searched around and found Christopher Wilson and commissioned him (awesome rate btw) for some art with my 2 main characters Targaryen and Nymaria.

I’m finding that dagger/pistol is a lot easier to use than Sword/Dagger. Each have their own strengths as weaknesses, but Sword/dagger if played right (which I am working on) is much better in my opinion. It is more efficient at stealth, it does more continuous damage, and has great mobility.

Yes the thief was traited to duel a necro, but its a pretty common wvw build, and he did not abuse any of the stealthing.

Thanks for pointing that out. A lot of people say thieves are gonna be nerfed hardcore because of the stealth-nerf, but frankly if you’re a good thief you don’t need to chain-stealth for perma-stealth. As my video shows, I stealthed like 3 times only, the rest was just sword mobility.

As for this, I just started playing thief. My main class was a Warrior for 5 months, so I am still in the warrior-mentality where I don’t give 2 fks about conditions and just try to tank it all. Obviously this needs to change

All professions have good and bad players. I can boast that I can beat any bad mesmer, or bad warrior, but that means nothing.

oh here’s another one, i hit DR in 40 min, got 20min remaining on my karma booster.

It’s pretty stupid that I can’t use the gem-store Karma booster for its full duration while I farm Dynamic Events in Cursed Shore

Since I got legendary axe/shield, I’d rather tailor my build around that instead of hammer, even if hammer is a better choice for 1v1.

Sometimes during intense duels, I mis-target or accidentally press the wrong key. I’m sure it happens to everyone ^^

A little Addition to the Bulls Charge bug :

Not only do you sometimes charge past the opponent (usually by 3 feet, enough to make your next melee attacks out-of-range and miss), you will sometimes find yourself facing AWAY from the enemy after the charge.

I am tired of Bulls Charge’ing someone only to find that my character somehow manages to charge past them (though knocking the enemy down), therefore making my next attack (hundred blades) MISS due to out of range. I also find that sometimes my character is facing AWAY from the enemy after I bulls charge, again making my subsequent attacks miss

sPvp Has time limits, are intruded upon more often, have fewer people that can participate, differences in skills, among other things.

WvW is just more fun, people can use their own gear (and legendaries), more attendance, bigger play field.

For anyone interested in doing organized DUELS, ie 1v1s, 2v2s, etc between servers in WvW, this is the group! It works very well in Tier 3, we have about 200 members from all across the Tier 3 servers and we organize events almost nighty. I’m trying to start the same thing for Tier 2 !!!

I basically tried to “kite” him throughout the match so I can heal, I have 0 regen so #6 is all I got. Good thing I have the cripple = immobilize (1s) trait.
