I agree with Gern, and disagree with Crysto. Raids need to be instanced. The people that are raiding with you need to have some sort of relation to you, ie you selected each other to form a party or group or some sort to achieve a task. This can only happen in an instance. In open world, with random map traverses coming and going, there is no way to control strangers. It’s more of an “event” than a “raid.” For the hardcore scene, where each player has a specific duty to perform for the overall goal, you need control, and limit the external variables.

It’s amusing having the PvP team make balance patches, it leads to some insane pve specs huehue, the dungeon grinding is gon be real.

I Don’t expect these problems to be fixed anytime soon, like the multitude of other dungeon bugs. Dungeons are low priority after all

I have 1 Mini Llama currently, and I have it stored in my wardrobe. Once a mini is stored into wardrobe it cannot be pulled out to be used in a mystic forge recipe, does that mean I will need a 2nd mini to use for the recipe?

I re-named my BIN folder and it auto-created a new one and I got past the Initializing screen and game works now. However, Sweetfx does not work anymore, and attempts to re-enable it will cause game to fail.

To prevent this from happening in Path 1 (which we did right after), we actually AFK’d at the start of the dungeon for about 5 minutes to make it appear it took us longer than it does to complete the path, and prevent 2 token bug, which seemed to work this time. Seriously, forcing us to AFK for full rewards :?

Wow. I wonder how many tokens I’ve lost as I don’t ever actually look at the rewards and simply assume they’ve done it right. Shoulda known better.

There isn’t any dungeon team at Anet. Just Gaile posting now and then to appease us on the forums but really nothing is happening, at least as it appears to many of us.

Sorry I believe you are incorrect and misunderstand the issue at hand.

Well first of all, half of 20 is not 2. And second, we only complete each path Once after reset, we don’t repeat the same paths so should not be encountering DR

If your saying that completing any two paths within a 30 main window will cause the second path to award 2 tokes….that’s both absurd and inconsistent because there are a lot of paths that take under 10 main to do and this DR doesn’t happen.

I do a dungeon tour everyday at reset, and we speedrun through the majority of dungeon paths. For over a month we have been noticing a bug with our rewards. At first it did not happen often, but now it happens more often than not, and it’s becoming quite a huge loss if you add it all together.

Certain dungeon paths we are doing give us only 2 tokens in the pop-up reward instead of 20 tokens. Thus, we get 40+2 tokens instead of 40+20. Our opinion is, if we are too efficient and run through the dungeon too fast, we will encounter this bug.

It happens in SE and COF a lot. Sometimes in TA and CM too.

That is just one example, I can provide you a dozen more if you want. I’ve probably lost over a 1000 tokens in various dungeons due to this.

I’ve reported this a long time ago but nothing has been done yet.

Yerp, I think when Anet says group content they mean something like Wurm or Teq. Looks like no new dungeons or instanced raids.

Forget about ranks and ratings Justin. What really matters was how many Engis and celestial Eles he was up against, and how many he had on his team.

Idk if I’m the only one, but if there is not an active leaderboard (albiet kittenty or not) I don’t feel like PVP’ing. You should just keep leaderboard running even if there are no rewards between seasons.

On Jan 13 the top 250 players get a Mini Llama. I’m rank 240 right now, wondering whether or not I should risk playing a few more games (and probably losing) to get my rank to a safer place, or will the lock happen sooner than I think? I hope today at reset = Jan 13 on GMT :o

Some people just do dailys simply for the AP to get it out of the way and move on to the things they enjoy in the game, for me its dungeons. I personally would not want dailys made any more time consuming then they already are.

Here are a few tidbits from the team:

• A lot of newer players had trouble with the interface. That doesn’t apply to you, you’re veterans who have been around the conversion block a time or two. But newer players will benefit from the updated system.
• The goal was to make the Gem Store more like other shopping experiences, and if you think about it, there is more of that feel to it now.
• You may be surprised to know this (I know I was) but very few people bought gems at smaller denominations than the first one offered in the new system. That’s not to say they never did, nor that there wouldn’t be the desire to do so. But overall, the current options were selected based on player purchases in the past.
• The team is going to listen to your feedback and, if and when it’s practical and desirable, they can look towards adjusting the new system to better meet your needs.

So please keep your thoughts coming on the new system. Feel free to make suggestions but please, keeping them constructive would be very much appreciated.

Really? You’re 100% certain there’s never been such a post? Good for you, then!

Concerns of this nature come in via tickets, when someone takes the wrong step, buys too many times, isn’t able to process the acquistion or exchange, etc. By the time someone’s on the forums, they’re usually comfortable with the systems.

Please check back with your “LEGAL Department” if it is allowed to sell currency for real money and have a tiny bit of it beeing unusable. If the lowest conversion rate is 1g=8Gems and i have 7 Gems left over this would be a fault in the sold currency.

This might be not allowed by the country specific laws, for example in Germany i am quite sure i could demand a refund for the 7 gems in real money or revoke the full transaction as your product comes with a unfixable fault.

I’ve got a suggestion for them. How about fixing things that are REALLY broken in the game and have been for years now. Seriously, condition damage stacking, hobosacks, rewards revamp, precursor scavenger hunt, the tendency for the game to be absolutely and inexplicably unplayable behind a windows 8 firewall all these things should have been on the list for changes. This however should not. So my second suggestion would be, revert it back and then actually spend some time on the real problems this game has had for years now. Thanks.

Create the random teams 1 hour before the tournament. No practice. That way, if people fail, or find they are paired with hopeless noobs, at least they won’t feel disheartened that they wasted weeks of practicing. It’s a 1 day event and it could be fun, I’m for it

i think the elemental is a pretty nice elite, since you can control his burst now, but all things considered, in comparison to spirit of nature or res banner, plague/lich form, it stinks.

I was the elemental attack that we can control was instant cast.
