I have played thief not much but i know that thiefs do not have CD, hence why they can spam skills. They do however have a GCD at which is more or less how long it takes them to produce said skills..
My one friend has told me about being able to macro thiefs skill onto a keyboard with recordable macro buttons. This allows the thief to put said rotation into 1 button(this is obviously a bannable offense(my friend does not use this method anymore because it is bannable))
Hope this helps somewhat, and i agree that that damage is ridiculous and with 2k toughness..imagine on a zerker build 1 HS hit for 10-12k??
It would be great fun and maybe good for showing Class X v Class X if the people on the list verse eachother and somebody fraps it. It would be beneficial to those who come to seek for help. They would also be able to see hwo the different builds work as well as play styles, what to watchout for,ect.

I have not had the problems of not seeing waypoints.
lol narrow mindedness… in 2k hours on my mes i think i had enough time to try ‘other AMAZING BUILDS’… nothing comes close to shatter builds for pve/pvp. not sure who’s the dude who proved me stuff and such so yeaaah. When its pretty much the only class you play since game’s release you don’t need any confirmation from some random dude on a forum to tell me if i’m wrong or not. You think other crap is better than shatter builds for pve? okay run that lol not me who’s gonna bother explaining why you shouldn’t.

This is a severe bug. I just spoke to Knut (and Eir disapeared before I could speak to her) and there are no waypoints anywhere in the entire world that I can use to leave the instance.
I guess this might be a function of people becoming too dependent upon waypoints for getting about.
Don’t look for a waypoint when in Knut’s loft. Just go back to the door you came in through and open it (F key).
For most of the instances, i have been trapped a few times and all you need too do is go back to the entrance/exit and push “F” (or whatever your interactive button is) it should port you back out even if it does not show the option.
Custom arena’s would have been the perfect solution..
1v1-3v3 should be implemented as well as some SEMI-large scale arena..
All of the above would require new maps to accommodate for sizes as well as 3 way PvP would need new maps.
Anet should seriously consider making PvP more profitable as well as versatile.
at the moment there is 1..and only 1 game mode which is boring ol’ kitten conquest with the odd secondary objective.

ofc its about tpvp. the game is balanced more for tpvp.
Wvwvw is something casual based. ot has its place. but you hace a complete different view on things there. iqm npt even sure if you can even compare anything in wvwvw with competitive tpvp…
Its.. different games we playing like anet said.the game isnt balanced around tpvp, s/tpvp have different gear sets and skill descriptions.
a glass cannon burst build in wvw do aLOT more damage than a similar glass cannon in spvp.
What are you talking about? Skills are exactly the same in both, and all they do is give you a different template to use for PvE/WvWvW and PvP.
Sure they give you end game content as far aas stats for weapons, gear and upgrades in PvP but that doesnt mean you cant match it…
I think what they have done is completely wrong during the last patches.. sure they cant spend a say to search through everything, but hell forum moderators are they. There has to be some form of communication from the community to the dev and testers…
mesmers for example as stated above have had there most valuable weapon thrown to the dumps, their illusions discarded only left for 1 viable play build across the entire game? for what reason? yes they have the damage and the tricks but they need that to survive cause of their incredible squishyness…
How about saying, “Okay, most or all our clients are infuriated. How about we revert the update for now and see what they have to say?” this does not mean they have to listen to every stupid idea that comes out? Suggestion to make a testing realm so that they wont have these problems online?
I think they Anet is putting a lot of effort in, dont get me wrong. The problem is they are focusing on the wrong content…fix the current issues and most of the server will be over joyed! Make sure you dont nerf one or two classes messed up and leave others OP as they stand.

Dude, you keep bringing these kittens out of content.. The alpha testing will always be done by the testers paid to do there job, what i am merely trying to suggest is that once all there testing has been done..for e.g.
They finish a new patch update, testers are happy, dev’s happy, ect..
Now were as they would have launched it now, they dont.
They release it into a “test realm” where the players will purposely try find bugs to give feedback to the Anet team so that they can fix these bugs before it goes live..
When something could be such a game changing move, completely OP a certain proff, whatever has not been put live for exploitations..

Sounds good, maybe Anet could look into something like this.
I really like the idea of how it could maybe be a separate realm per server, this realm would not affect your in game characters, but purely meant to create a new one, fully customized for your testing as accurately as possible.
Maybe for e.g. every 20 NEW bugs found Anet could give you a gift for thanks.

The fun part is still figuring out your own playing method and what suits your.
This is way better than also going to look for builds, which i for one have not done as i do not believe i will choose to play the most simple or easiest, damage/tank build.

I know something like Power simple is every extra unit of power is and extra unit of damage, therefor if you are striking with a certain skill at 1000 with 800 power then getting 1000 power will let you strike 1200..

My suggestion is to gather what your community thinks of these updates, for what i gather you should be doing this for your community and correct me if i am wrong, you are.
A testing realm would be the perfect thing for this! You would be able to see what, where, when, how and why it went wrong according to feedback from your valued clients. In no way meant as a threat, i have seen many people leave because they are infuriated with some of the changes, for instance how broken the mesmer class is and instead of fixing asap there are more concerns on goggles in some desert..<- just an example whether it be true..
By start this testing realm it would not put certain players at risk of being “outplayed” because of broken mechanics. You would be able to implement certain changes on while others that may have seen great are now found out be some what, “incomplete”. Saving your rep and giving you a chance to bring out the “Complete” change in place with none to a lot less people crying about..
I have not quite figured out how this would go about as perhaps a testing realm per server or before each update let 1 server test it, even if possible you could open it EU or US wide and only allow a certain number of each profession through.
Anyways this is just my suggestion, do with it as you will.
Ultima Online had a test shard. Before any large changes were sent out to the general game, they were applied on the test shard for players to offer feed back on it.

A dueling system seems like a great idea..the only thing is it might take a lot of activity away from the matches and tournaments, there is that possibility..
Maybe if it was still in HotM but away from the npc’s and no harm viable from the PvP vehicles. 1 more thing for the dueling is, a duel is 1v1 any group v group should battle in tourneys or arena maps.
Death matches i would suggest 1v1 -3v3 as the only viable ones 5v5 becomes to much of what we already have in place.

Last man standing, everyone being hostile. This could be interesting if it was like a collesium type of battle, no where to run, no where to hide.
King of the mountain i am not too keen on unless if it was another type of team arena match, much like how Capture the flag would be, there is 2 paths up with a point scoring system at the top, 3 of these and the first team to reach 500 points by holding these stations wins..
