I’m not running into any problems with the DR. I guess pacing myself was a good idea, after all……
The thief skill “Scorpion Wire” is a reference to “Mortal Kombat”.
I haven’t had any issues with people being around on my server (Borlis), even though it seems to have the reputation of being under-populated. It might just be that most people like to horde to a certain area, and stay there…whatever…who cares lol.
As for “map chat”, that’s not really a good way to determine area population. People could be avoiding it due to the fact that, regardless of what’s being said, there is always some immature kid waiting to troll. It’s like that on “Borlis”, anyway. I’ve run around with guildies that were blabbing up a storm while in LA, but, didn’t say a word while we were actually out in the field. I personally never talk, unless someone addresses me directly, or i’m bored. I found that singing the “Fresh Prince” theme song tends to get people talking (I’m NOT joking, I’m dead serious). Try doing that, and if nobody responds, the area is dead, if the sing BACK…they’re there…. just not talking lol
What build are you using on your ele.?. I use dual-daggers, and I have no problem doing enough damage to solo events. Even a couple of the “Champion” events….as long as I have enough room to move, and the “Champion” is a warrior, that is lol
Anyone who thought it was going to kill WoW or come close was delusional.
Arenanet themselves said that they would not be happy with GW2 unless they were #1, meaning, dethroned WoW.
They clearly have come no where close to that, but they certainly did think it was going to happen, or at least hoped very strongly enough to make a public announcement about it.
You seem to have misunderstood what he was trying to say. It has nothing to do with dethroning “WoW”. It was his way of telling us how dedicated to the game they are. That it isn’t something they would be putting out, then turning their back on. It was his way of telling us that A-net will be in this for the long-haul
Mine is human mesmer – Nakts.
She is the mesmer of the night, you might get mesmerised though.
A “mesmer of the night”, huh?…..you are officially my BFF, now lol
Hi everyone.
We just changed the thread title to a more descriptive one, since it is easier for other users to figure out the content of a thread in this way.
(after reading all the replies) Hah, doesn’t exactly seem to have accomplished that…
WOOT!!, someone from A-net commented on my thread, so now i’m popular!!
You could have just typed “character” lol
I COULD have, but, i didn’t want to sound too “white”…lol
I’d like to see them take a page out of Aion’s book (I know I know, just hear me out). I remember in my SHORT time playing that game, how cool it was to have customizable “guild capes”. I saw people running around with pictures of “Gir” from “Invader Zim”, pictures of “Cthulhu”, and anything ELSE you can imagine.
Like the title says, show your favorite char.
Mine is my Sylvari Ele., Zinnia. I like geting “up close, and personal”, so she’s a Dual-Dagger Ele.
I’ve gotten compliments on my “Thief” Kylie, though, so I added a pic of HER being the tough chick she IS lol
I’m gonna HALF-agree with you on this one. If it’s something that everyone can agree on (like the dungeon rewards), then yes, posting about it is a good thing. But, if it’s something stupid like “I don’t like the endgame stuff, there should be raiding”, THEN I would agree with the person telling them they should have researched the game better.
Getting rid of “Bots” for good is nearly impossible. GW1 still has them, WoW still has them…Just about EVERY online game still has them. Smash one, another just takes it’s place. I’m sure A-net is working on it as best they can.
