I could do what a lot of people do when describing the current state of affairs of a particular tier: a wall of text. Instead, this video aptly displays the current state of Tier 2.

But in all honestly, FA has not really done anything differently. If anything, I think we are playing more relaxed this week and not spending as much time as we usually do in WvW. For whatever reason, that seems to be working.

Yeah, bourbon can be rough. I found some rot-gut bourbon at my local liquor store a couple of years ago that was like $10 for a liter. It was obviously not so great, but it got me smashed. Seriously, they probably could have used it as engine degreaser. But that didn’t stop me from drinking way too much of the stuff. I had some… digestive difficulties while I was drinking it. They don’t call it “rot-gut” for nothing!

Scotch drinker as well or just stick to bourbon? Seems like there are quite a few of us in BT that love our whiskey and scotches and it makes for an interesting reset night on TS.

Scotch is alright, but it’s usually too good/pricey to slam down like I like to do with borubon and whiskey. You’ve got to savor scotch; it’s the only brown liquor I’ll drink on the rocks. I’m partial to Johnny Walker Black and Chivas Regal.

I am a huge fan of whisky and Scotch. Love the various flavors. I don’t like those blends you listed there though (JW and CR). For some ok scotches you can get some Glen Fiddich or Glen Morrangie (sp?) 12 or 15 year at pretty good price though if you look around. The Dimple Pinch is a fantastic, spicy with some pear flavor on the finish and its a kitten cheap 15 year old blend. Hell, its cheaper than Woodford Reserve or Maker’s Mark.

Woodford Reserve though, that is my favorite bourbon. It’s amazing.

FA BL doesn’t seem to be getting that massive zerg in the AM. K-town taking a break this weekend?

I guess I am most curious to hear from ANet on if this is going to be fixed soon or if its on the back burner.

/salute @ RISE for trying to disrupt our training session in south KNBL earlier tonight. Either you guys couldn’t see we outnumbered you, or you’ve got a lot of heart. I assume the latter.

FA keeps telling us we suck at ZvZ, so we were learning how to use flame rams in open field combat to get better at that.

But by the time you guys showed up we had gotten distracted RP’ing a high school dance where all boys and girls just stand around in small groups.

Fun times later in KNBL too. We figured since FA isn’t really into the points game we’d gift them Hills to help keep them in T2. <3 you guys.

You need to be careful of saying anything like, “You gave it to us.” In about 2 hours the video will show we left then we let you push Kaineng, we killed your zerg, farmed RISECO then capped the hills (by accident, we intended to keep farming everyone).

We then let you mesmer portal your entire army in, then we wiped you.

Then we burned the school dance.

So how soon will it take to implement vendors to buy ascended gear in WvW?

I just want to say thanks to all the big guilds representing TC and KN at KN hills tonight. Was a fabulous farm fest, sorry we capped it by accident :-( kitten accident. Rendering the video right now, the kills and bags were some of the most I have ever seen, I had no idea how big RISE was until tonight.

This video is all I got out of this weeks fights.

It was the Woodford Reserve.

I just want you all to know that I RPd in WvW all night on Thursday. I did it and I am not ashamed.

There has been noticeably less odd RPing chest thumping this week. I think that is what has made it more fun.

TC, your Hills has been just a frumpty crumpty hip hoppity fun place since we moved in. We ate all your cookies. Sorry about your cats though, we made hats out of them. And your kittens were made into mittens.

Just let us know ahead of time if you want to visit, we haven’t scrubbed the walls yet and our doormen are kind of angry to everyone. Just call when you wanna visit!

Like the questions asks, where there be any guild missions that are focused on WvW? Everything else seems to be focused on PvE content.

This been quite a fun match up so far.

WvW right now seems to linear in terms of how you achieve a server victory. The current PPT for a supply camp should be increased, so should getting dolyaks safely into their respective keep/tower.

Right now, in the higher tiers, its so very much zerg vs zerg and trying to see who can sneaky take a keep with golems. Things need to be more dynamic.

They should never have inferred that WvW was a place you could spend all your time in and acquire the best items for WvW.

Seems like general dynamics of WvW are pretty stagnant. The most valuable objectives require a good amount of players to successfully acquire and hold. We see often smaller guilds/groups feel inadequate in WvW where large zergs seem to be the favored/successful style of group play.

What if supply camps were worth more points? What if dolyaks that drop supply also issued points to their realm? I think those kind of changes would make WvW so much more interesting.

The fact that you call playing smart a defeatist attitude shows why FA is struggling to hold their ground lately PPT wise.

Actually, alot of guilds decided if we got a good lead (20-30k) alot of us would PvE. We’re taking it easy till FA starts to catch up then alot of us (RISE), WM, CO, and KO will come in and take care of the situation. xD

I came here to talk about a little wvw action between Fang, BT, and GODS last night but I think I stumbled into the TC/FA chat.

Even though you got us repeatedly with your numbers and a couple of well placed choke points BT, I still think you for the couple kills I got before going down, and the glorious exotic warhorn you gave me.

Great fights tonight in K-town BL. Special props to RE and TL from coming out and showing it doesn’t matter how hard you fall down, it matters how quickly you get up. You guys keep coming back for more, good to see you guys keep up the gumption to fight not matter what. So many people just roll over, die and don’t come out. Good to see some opponents that can take a hit and come right back on out!

Hills was a blast out there tonight, but then the server crashed :-(

We use existing mechanics like player kills and event completions to award world XP, but it is an entirely new system with new pieces of data associated to it so unfortunately there’s no way to award retroactive progress.

Figured this would happen. A bigkittento the WvW folks. Hairy Hank and his mamby pamby PvE can just hop into the WvW and be on the same level as those of us who have been WvWing for months.

I am guessing a big middle finger will be given to WvW focused players. I highly doubt any retroactive.

I feel like this patch they are coming out with could be the savior of WvW for GW2 or ANets own Trials of Atlantis.
