You must learn to read better, I don’t have it, but I can get you an Rx for it. In my years of being a Doctor of Awesome, I have come across a large amount of people, yourself included, suffering from the debilitating disease of Baddyness. During my clinical rounds and studies, I have found that one of the biggest symptoms of suffering from Baddyness is a burning bottom. There is a cream I can prescribe that will help reduce the symptoms, but not the illness.

Great video of RE and TW trying to wipe us at the same time. We utilized the bridge as a choke with the numbers they had on us. The fun part was positioning RE and TW between each other during the fights. Was a hot of a time.

On a lighter note, this video is almost done and I should have been in bed 2 hours ago. GvGs always keep me up to late though.

SG from JQ, just wanted to poke my head in and tell ya you made our GvG recap video for July. It would have been more appropriate for the week we fought you, but between all the July festivities (the 4th, family vacations, Steam sale, etc) I honestly did not have time to do a weekly video, but this one is an amalgamation of some of the fights this July.

I heard AGG was over on this matchup now. They moved on t greener pastures from the competition over on the T1 area. I haven’t done a weekly update much this July due to the 4th, family vacation and other July activites, but I wanted to share with them some of the GvG footage we had with our esteemed opponents who switched to a more amicable environment for their playing. Just out of curiosity, but do BT run with anything but a 60 man map zerg? Or what

Rumor has it we run two 80 mans in 5 BLs. So yes, we do run with someone other than a 60 man.

I have to say, after reviewing the compression from the bay fight, FEAR and TW went down a notch in my view of them. Bad form on those players from those guilds using ACs and having them shooting in places where they ought not to be able to.

That South Camp fight against FEAR, KISS and HL was intense, just uploaded the fight. Was one of the most memorable fights I have in this game so far.

Unless your guild runs 5 you’re all zerg trash to me…. sadly that includes myself in this pos game. Noone here impresses me, not even my own guild. I guess that’s the state of the game though… casual friendly ftw. The only real skill that matters is that of the commander being able to use terrain to their advantage… after that it’s ezmode kids, don’t fool yourselves into thinking otherwise.

But to put things nicely, maybe large scale pvp simply isn’t your thing :/ Click on the forums tab and below that is the structured pvp zone. MIIIIGHT be more your thing :P

Good thing i’m the one who kicks people from guild Either way you’re making a large assumption that I don’t have fun in wvw. It’s fun to kill people, and I prefer an unpredictable environment as opposed to cap the point. I don’t have delusions that this game takes skill to play like most people here though. If that makes me a fool then so be it. I’m glad you’re concerned though…. makes me feel all special.

try running with only 20-30 (no pugs, no commander tag, ONLY 20-30 BT)
then fight groups with 50-70 (guilds such as: TW, Choo, Agg, SF, WARD, FEAR)

If it still takes no skill and you wipe those groups just as easy, I will disband my guild.
I will need video proof, and I will need to see the following: Ally names, this means you do not just display your party members name / Visual of your Map (Do not blur it out)
And show the # of people on your Teamspeak / guild list.

Of course you wont take me up on the challenge.

Challenge accepted. But first, we will need visual confirmation of your players. Facebook pics are fine. We also require proof of citizenship by birth certificate (notarized of course, don’t blur it out). If you could also send us a copy of finger prints of your players who are participating on the night of recording so we can corroborate them with ANet to show you actually have those players.

As a further addendum to this proof fest of who is teh most uberist, we can only respect opponents who have under gone the same pretty WvW ritual as us.

But since our ancient RP ritual is a closely guarded secret, you can’t be as good or as cool as us.

And as a side note, how can you people not know me? I mean, I’m kind of a big deal. I mean, like, I’m a celebrity and stuff.

Everyone, I did not post this just to get thrown back in my face, tiers do NOT have to do with population, Sactum of Rall was once in tier 2 – 3, and by points, they got into tier 1.

right. you got more points when the WvW population of SOR outnumbered the WvW population of your enemies.

There is not skill in winning WvW. Only coverage.

NO, it is pure skill, pure comunity , pure coordination for SOR to win.
for others to win it is just coverage

For Blackgate its different. Numbers, community, coordination do not matter here.

For Blackgate, it starts with our morning routine. We start by putting some awesome-sauce on our toast before we make 20 laps around LA with our lolerskates screaming, “WE’RE #1”

Our afternoon meal is a high protein diet. Every noon meal, we kill an afker in LA and roast him over a spittle. Then we take communal man poos into the mystic forge. So maybe community is important here on BG.

In the evening (I can only speak for NA primetime here), we gather the guilds together for an awesome RP session. We work ourselves up into a Tarnished Coast style role-playing nerd frenzy. Battles from Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Patriot, The Alamo and Street Fighter are played while a great motivator screams about things precious to the NA players in BG: “MURICA” “FREEDOM” “BALD EAGLES”.

We then go WvW.

So community is important here.

This may come as a huge shock to you, but the way the WvW is designed, you are always fighting against two opponents. It’s always a 2v1.

Very nice presentation, loved the music. But it seemed like all fanfare with no feature.. When it ended I was suprised, like, where’s the main event?

Their “performance improvements” are utter garbage. Revert to the last patch please and undo what you did. Game is unplayable in it’s current state.

With the new WvW ratings change, other guilds might join you guys… although not necessarily to another server >_<

That is the thing i do not get about BT mainly why leave before a major update to the match up. I am fearful that they are kind of shooting them self in the foot because they are moving to a world that has Q nearly all the time they are just simply going to have a harder time getting into WvW. I have no idea what being in a T1 world will give you over being in a T2 or T3 world.

Reposting what I said on the FA forums this morning:

It is not with a light heart we made this decision. For most of us, our fun in this matchup had dwindled so much that many were considering leaving the game. However, none of us, as individual players, were yet ready to throw in the WvW towel. So we were left with a hard choice:

Leave the server we love and enjoy the remaining days of WvW somewhere else, or remain on FA and suffer the slow bleed out of players from lack of fun.

For the health of our members and guild, we have elected to move somewhere else. We have nothing but the utmost respect and love for our battle brothers on FA (don’t listen to our forum warriors). Our decision has nothing to do with FA; its a result of ANets stupid WvW decisions.

It will be with a hesitant hand and heavy heart that I will have to change the intro of our videos to say something other than, “Fort Aspenwood”.

But in the future, when BT continues our tradition of excellence somewhere else and people ask how we do what we do… I won’t say it was T2 tactics. I won’t say it was T3 tactics.

I’ll say it was Fort Aspenwood.

I think ANet wants to secretly kill WvW so that everyone quits complaining about WvW or either quits WvW or does SPvP.

You should only consider moving to FA if you want to find people to kill on every map with no queues.

Because that is what makes FA great: no queues and a ton of enemies to fight. Its quite often that you get to see an entire servers blob versus an outmanned FA guild/militia.

So if your guild is a community of killers and zerg wipers, you should really consider coming to FA. Right now TC and DB have exactly what we like: lots of players outnumbering us.

The killing is glorious here and you don’t have to fight for fights, you get to pick who, what, where and when you will fight. It’s a slice of heaven.

Guys, I had a lot of fun today. The very first time since the arrowcart patch that it was so much fun.

It was so much fun because we mostly had to defend and chose not to use arrowcarts for that and we still managed to defend (some times things flipped but overall we managed). The natural advantage given to defenders was more than enough.

The only non fun parts were when our attackers would build arrowcarts, it would just eff everything up. It was the perfect example of why this was a bad patch.

The hourswe played with no arrowcarts = fun
The couple of times people built arrowcarts = no fun

Too bad we can’t just get everyone to stop using the arrowcarts.

They need to just remove the kitten arrow carts from the game. The most stupid siege ever. It’s like ANets own version of Trials of Atlantis in the form of an arrow cart.

Not sure if you know, but your arrow carts suck as well.

So it’s been almost two weeks, where’s the news?

The patch today will probably allow us to buy ascended gear for 50 gold a piece with 50 badges.

And arrow carts are going to receive a 50% range increase, 100% dmg buff. They will also receive the ability to shoot through doors and have wings to fly.

A further bigger cool skill on arrow carts will enable, when points are spent into the AC tree, the arrow cart to spawn 4 completely new flying AC upon the first AC destruction.

That’s 8 “wins” and 25 “losses” for those keeping track at home. That MOS site has so much interesting information.

I don’t have time to do it for TC and DB but It would be Interesting to see the comparison… although I think FA has the worst stats probably lol.

Love those stats. Part of what makes FA my all time favorite server is our desire to not be in first. We don’t like it. We like having a plethora of confident enemies to fight. We do our best to deter PPT focused guilds from coming over here. We are not a Transfer Coast or Wagonbrand.

I know in BT we have some awesome times every night. There is always a BP, CO, RE, AGG, PiNK, TSL, ESP, DIS, etc on any map to fight and we don’t have to compete with another guild or group to find fights.

Its like our own private fight club.

I’ve said this to TC before and I will say it to DB. We don’t care about the meta game. You (DB) do. When you are happy with your server match up victories, it keeps you in the field fighting and provides us with our entertainment. Its a win win for all of us.

There have been a number of servers aspiring to get into T1. FA keeps them in check. We are like the annoying STD you can’t get rid of. We don’t play the PPT way, we just play to kill all day.
