It’s definitely harder. I was with a group of non 80’s and we made it, it was hard, but still made it through. Took Tzark’s path. One cry baby quit half way through! I had my War lvl 61, couple of level 50 Ele’s, a ranger and an engi. They were mid 60’s. Thought about switching my fully loaded lvl80 Ranger a few times but didn’t, stuck with my warrior. It’s all about team work, speed buffs, cripple, and ranged weapons. That’s what did it for us. Begin a lvl35 zone I can’t see a bunch of 35’s and running it, even with the best lvl35 gear.

In the Shatterer chest, a player on BlackGate, Saturday night, got the Venom (precursor for the Trident legendary). A waste really. Who gets an aquatic legendary.

Lol. Always the answer “use warrior”. I just finished all 3 maps of Orr, solo, with my lvl80 Ranger. I use Sick’em most of the time, however I change things up quite often. Some days I’m all signets, some days I’m all traps. For PvE any combo can work. Entangle is the skill I never change (for those @#$% mobs in ORR!!!)

Nice. Our guild of 3 active members should have no problems getting to 50K. We are at 6000 at the moment… from 6 months of play…. :/

So just delete my lvl80 Ranger with full lvl 80 ‘zerker exotic gear and weapons. Um ya. Let’s do that.

Just make the F2 cast faster (or actually cast) and when I click heal, don’t do a 2-3 second delay, HEAL ME!!! That 2-3 seconds is a lifetime when a mob of 5 is on you in Orr. Otherwise I’m fine…

How about using crafted items? I’ve been experimenting with throwing in Crafted items vs Looted items. For me, I’m getting better results with the crafted items. I’m somewhat consistently getting lvl50+ rares with great skins (LB and GS) from blue or green lvl40 crafted items. I don’t have the data that you have, but it’s definitely better using crafted items (in my experience anyways).

My Human Ranger. All Duelist Berserker’s armor. Along with me is Fernando. I don’t normally use that GS, but it’s fun to walk around with.

I have a lvl80 Ranger and I’m nearly indestructible in PvE. Except in Orr, because Orr is stupid. I have a trap build for PvE. Haven’t tried PvP, and I don’t have the need to. In WvW, my Ranger is at it’s weakest for me as I can’t seem to get the right build for WvW. Dungeons are a bit of a challenge for the Ranger compared to other classes, but look at what your skill are meant to do that play on those.

A Ranger is not a Warrior or a Guardian, nor will they every be. You will not get the damage they create, not will you ever have their heath. You wear medium armor for crying out loud…

If you’re looking for OHK, mind numbing, easy game play without any thought or trial and error, this is not the profession for you. The Warrior is for you. I know because, I’m leveling one right now. 100Blades, please… How easy is that.

Just get used to what the weapons and skills can (and can’t) do and adjust your play style accordingly. Same goes for the pets. Yes they are not perfect, but they have more to offer then one may think. I run a Brown Bear and a Fern Hound.

Ok stupid question. How do you know it’s a dev?

At one point in Metrica I heard a NPC say he needed ‘1.21 gigawatts of power’ or something to that affect. That made me smile! Don’t get more classic then that.

What would explain it. Didn’t realize that went on. I’m not much of a WvW player, could never get in the groove of it.

Might be because I was a Ranger… I’ll give it another go once my Warrior is up to snuff.

Is it just me or are the ore, trees and harvesting crops giving more lately? I’m in Caledon Forest and more times then not, a tree will give me 4-6 even 7 green logs. Same for crops, some will give 1-2 of whatever and I can still harvest one more time for 1-2 more of the same thing. Got 5 vanilla beans from one node! This has been happening for a last 4 days.

Is anyone else seeing this?

I’ve started a new warrior and I’m at lvl 10. I never seen this happen on my first lvl80 character, which is a Ranger with 70% of the map complete.

I just leveled a Human Ranger to 80. Many good times in PvE. Now I’m starting a Human Warrior, at lvl 6 now. Already I’m blown away by the abilities of the Warrior, this is with no skills unlocked. Can’t wait to try him in PvP or WvW. I couldn’t do much with the Ranger in those forums. Ranger in PvE was excellent, could take any mob with a trap build, except in Orr because Orr is stupid. My wife is starting a Sylvari Necro. This has some nice skills as well….

Fixed. Was trying to login with the account name. Tried the e-mail addy and it worked perfectly…

Getting the same thing trying to set another PC… :/

8+ hours a day? That’s a full time job. I’m at 180h in 4 months and I think I play way to much.

So this is how your day goes. Get up 6:30am, get ready to be at work for 8:00am. Off work at 5:00pm. Now you need 8 hours of playing time that day. So you’re up till 1:00am playing, every week night? Nice one. Either your character sits idle alot while you’re afk or, wow, just wow.

So normally, when entering LA, you get put into a queue. Then at some point you get the options to travel to your home world. You can choose yes or no.

Is there any advantage to travel to the home world? Most of the time I remain in the overflow. Other then the quantity of people, I don’t’ see any other advantage.

I would like to know what percentage of the GW2 population can complete this jump puzzle. I tired it 100 times easy, no way. I’m guessing 1-2%?

Anyway, just frustrated how this game only caters to the skilled elite who can dedicate 10-12 hours per day on it, and not the casual player like me (5-6 hours per week). With the drop rate nerf, why play anymore… Without spending real $ can’t see how to get ahead in this game?

Yep. What just in that JP. There was an obvious bot/tele hacker there. He would disappear right when the snowflakes would appear, then reappear 5 second before the timer was up in the waiting area. Never moved, never talked. Some ppl saw him in the final chest area, not moving, doing nothing.
