Switching servers to find a server he would like though is a roll of the dice and cost money to do :/ and has the potential to find a worse server then your on..as I have a small guild for me and another friend of mine with tier 3 and tier 4 upgrades moving is not a option unless a net changes the rule about transferring guild upgrades to something like “it transfers with the guild leader” or something so sink or swim im kinda stuck with the server im on

Well I have a small guild with me and another person got 2 to rank 3’s and 2 rank 4’s Server transfer guild upgrades does not transfer so I can only complain about a net fixing unbalanced matches.

Well another idea maybe if your down to 1 building on all 4 map’s have that building give you near citadel type buffs for the defending players so we can have SOMETHING to defend and the other server have something to really work at to siege at least i’m trying to come up with idea’s to help the dev’s even if that only building is a tower witch had to use Seigerizer to get and even he can be buffed for this scenario. Everyone can would agree with me right if the server have nothing at all at least let them have one tower/keep they can throw down at that can be lost but they have a really high advantage at defending that witch buff disappears if they cap a second tower ect on any map.

I already posted a similar post in the SBI/YB/Kaineng match up 2 weeks ago, and the same kurath these unbalanced matches were your lucky to get out your spawn OR owning everything and having nothing to do needs to be fixed. Last weeks match up was Awesome it was very close and no one got pushed off the map. Some more creative idea’s need to be put into wvw to balance this bad of a matchup if were to be made to play though it for a whole week 2 servers have the ability to team up vs the one over powered 1 defense buffs be applied if the attack zerg is over x amount and stacks with succession or something. Have the developers ever played wvw on this out maned servers vs just sheer over power now with bloodlust to really make it over powered there is no defending even if you have 1 building on all 4 maps vs 100+ people that have nothing else to do but run over you insta build like 10+ trebs and no way to get near them just run and let them have it. And these tournament things coming up soon the horror.

Yea I seen that challenge SBI had witch was part of the reason for the long post above I been wanting to say something on this matter for a bit now I know it has been bought up alot about wvw rebalacing but yes the SBI idea was awesome as it allowed for a yak/Kaineng team up but thanks for reading it yes it was rather long and it was just a rant get idea’s going more things like SBI had in mind if a net can’t fix wvw ect, Winning is not everything and losing is not everything as there only so much of each you can do just the fun of fighting I actually worry about killing people as I like wvw for the chess match of tower siege/defend. And if anyone maybe remember seeing a (SMC) Sailor Moon Clan tag bouncing about that would have been me lol. although I seen alot of (SMC) Stone Mist castle tags witch I found interesting O.o

Match up’s that is this one sided should allow for the other 2 servers to have some kinda Auto Alliance After all for one server to completely win is boring for them and during most of this match up it seemed they could block us from our spawns on all 4 maps, Siegerazer is a one time use thing break out into a swarm of 50 people to get smacked down Bloodlust in this scanario with the other server just over powered and have nothing else to do but hold bloodlust points so now there over powered in manpower and firepower it’s like why even play wvw in these match up’s. Come up with more creative small things for balance having the out maned buff ally you to the randomly roaming pve monsters. Even when were in another match up and were winning this badly I feel bad so it’s not just getting the beat down im thinking about it’s how unbalanced wvw that is bothering me. While the Ability to get utter defeated is one thing, things are so bad now if there been a way to loose our citadel and we littely spawn into 50 people killing us while in load screen it would have happened in this match up it was that badly one sided. But to SBI good fight guys it’s not like you could go easy on us you needed to have things to do also as it’s your wvw as well just again anets inability to balance a system were players can jump servers vs issues created by the ability of people to move servers IE someone that started gw’s 2 on a wrong server and find out there friend is on another small example but I do think something needs to be done add more pve elements have wvw coop server day to defeat Zhaitan ect in a more epic battle that what is the fight given to us in PVE Orr dungeon ect Something. Kinda off topic but Tequatl > Zhaitan ..does anyone find a Problem with that? Idea’s comments as this was just to make people think about what if hopefully the developers see’s this also.

Yea I noticed that also it’s not water animation at all I forget what it was but I remember because I have checked multiple times it was more like fire or earth skill visual for the animation

Yes that is the same sound I hear during alot of things on screen especially in wvw. witch of coarse in the middle of a wvw battle if your in combat mode and crash. Repair Cost! having the logout cause a penantly while in combat mode was a bad idea if a person wanna log out as they are being finished I don’t care they have to login (One loading screen) and get back to the WVW map (Second loading screen) if it isn’t qued so they can’t even get back so it not like it helps then he saved his repair cost but hurt his server. (and also it takes speed to quick logout also especially under the beat down of a zerg)

well outside the Monks fighting skills and bare handed fist attack fungkittenfighting style the support features from the monk can be striped as well over half f guild wars 1 skills was striped from all classes anyway for the utility bar use so comming up with enough skills to attach to the monk only using the monk’s melee skills is well then enough to fill up it’s trait bar that covers the utility bar and it’s fighting style. Hm it’s trait tree based around it’s attack traits of the gw 1 monk holy light or holy (Magic attacks) Precision. have to replace healing with another skill that does the same job (no direct target heal skills) protection can be a trait transferred to toughness that is 3 hm 2 more..trait to increase it’s attacks Kungkittenish (Pysical attacks) name Power, and 5th a shot in the dark um god’s judgement Condition damage? and as for weapons, they need to have there knuckle class weapons back and they already have there weapon set from gw’s 1 to fall back on tie in what skills are best suited for what weapons staff set up like a ele’s 2 aoe support ground target skills as yes a monk still need the ability to help a party like any other class can. that was my attempt to try to have some kinda idea for a remake of the monk killing it’s support role.

P.S. Seems the kitten filter has alrered a few words.

Yes this is a BIGGG issue in the game that makes me wana punch my monitor/keyboard and many times have I had this discussion with my friend on vent starting to attack one monster next thing I know my character desides to randomly start attacking something else to witch I say on vent there she goes again…attacking inanimate objects even a growl post. Is it 2 much to ask to ask for a target lock system that actually stay’s on what your trying to attack?

well. the feature that makes the most sense is having mute for character sounds or mute for sounds made from a muted person made scene. after reading some of this forum is that different people have different opinions on things and start pulling things from a game people don’t like you be striped down to a game were all you do is push a button and then someone is like that button is annoying! I actually like the bells I have seen other posts people wanting them to add other musical instruments. But the Ability to mute unwanted sounds is a valid point though. The Bells though was a good idea for no other reason you have some other pointless thing to do in the game just because you can. Even though it’s a game irl elements or things that make sense even come into play interactive background scenery, And well Mounts that’s another Forum topic

good idea for switching trait stats is fall damage ect when you have to jump off a cliff. have to open up charater menu go to traits remember witch number was arcane abatement again…I can add tons of others but having to track down a skill/trait is more work then fun

well if the mobs re spawn in the same location were you just killed it IE timers are irrelevant that monster is seen as the same one as it is in the same place, it has the same effect of getting in your way, But this game should put less emphasis as having spawn points as a more random spawn in it’s area to make it look more natural way things spawn now look like a general placed them on a map and switch the timers based off of x numbers of monsters in a area with a secondary timmer to act as a emergency re population spawner for that whole area hm 50 mobs on map 2 are killed timmer 1 see’s 50 is not met and respawns 2 more. suddenly 30+ are killed timmer 2 is like not enough mobs for people and pop’s them back randomly on the map can be a 3rd script for proximity to players for respawn so you don’t have monsters spawning on people foreheads. although that was just a example as it basically has the tendency to do the same as the issue is now. but mobs that respawn in the same spot you have just killed something else the spawn timer might as well be 0 seconds when the spawn point is fixed. Well typing this has given me a new outlook on respawn timers in any open based world as gw’s 2 is trying to stay away from camping but camping is more of a camping for x monster that drops X item though right? if that is so monsters in gw’s 2 all drop random loot the champions drop more but even that is random so camping is not so much of a issue really so gw’s2 might wana switch to a more traditional respawn system.

Although on another note just for humor that elite Sylvary group npc’s with the awesome guns near orr was fun to play with in one of the missions the respawn rate was irrelevant there and was fun to watch them annihilate all in our path but I nearly died laughing when a undead appeared and was like “Death good” and they blew him away instantly leaving me standing there shaking my head noding agreeing to what the undead just said thinking “Yes..yes it is” + 1 to that golden moment

Well AOE the Staff is mainly a AOE weapon so if they nerfing aoe there nerfing most of the staffs skills right there witch make a better argument for ele to have weapon switch on the ~ toggle for them to actually fight I find myself using AOE mostly for target control seriously if you die to a Ele aoe your just bad at gw’s 2 get out of the aoe and that how it usually goes people move so aoe is not a problem. But yea area control using aoe you can effectively herd people to were you want them to go or were you don’t want them IE them trying to rez a opponent fast a meteor shower over the down person and make them back up, I have seen one post though quick browsing they had a problem with this. But Very rarely do I use AOE in wvw as a direct attack outside of a ram or stationary object, AOE effects does not move the target however can they are not insta kill a normal person maybe get hit by 2 metor showers for maybe 500 hp each hit and be like o I should move not sun bath in this. My Main is a Ele and Ele as by description on a.nets main page under elementalist is the master of AOE second to none. Although I see other classes AOE’s that can out do even my max AoE combo Lava font, fire storm, metor, and earth all stacked if anything that needs to be looked into, Elementals are very fragile AOE is there main thing people complain about them hard to kill, they have skill sets to compensate for there weak armor/life So that hard elementalist that is so hard to kill just has a good skill set going that takes timing and practice to get down witch takes practice and timing to overcome in a fight ele get low on health keep your knock down skill handy and try to guess when he/she’s going to heal slam them there heal skill is on recharge while down and finish them, So all the complants about ele are hard to kill to me sounds just like these people don’t know how to fight a ele not the ele’s fault ele’s have there own problems and having there AOE nerfed if anything it needs to be buffed. If you stand in a aoe and let yourself die you deserve to die it’s that simple.

the Ele is suppose to be the master of aoe as that one of there things they have going for them with the staff. Although that description of ele’s come’s right from the A.nets description page something to the effect Elemental Master’s of AOE. So there AOE is suppose to be second to none.

hm well you think that somewere in all of gw’s 2 you could find a Ritualist NPC. I say that based on the idea that Cathia could not have been okie everyone back home no one stay near Ascalon any longer. Some had to have stayed behind for no one to stay behind would sujest not one of them was unique in there way of thinking they was all xenophobic not one wanted to rebell explore the world ect…

Well the Gate at the main keep in the center of each 3 homeworld servers actually deteriorate as it gets low on hp lettign you see everything on both sides.

Well Mini games should be more random then just a planed area like fishing any place there is water you can “attempt to fish in” even if it was designed to be fished in or not just so you can do it if you want to so it doesn’t feel like every other game mechanic were stuff is just un interactive background scenery if the game designers did not intend for you to interact with it.

10. Glint Dragon from Gw’s 1 changed it’s attack based on it’s health (Has nothing to do with gw’s 2 but a comparison for your idea)
16. no direct Comment but just on way point contested it should not stop you from teleporting you there just be a warning as to your teleporting into a hot zone and you could possibly be dead by the time your screen loads.

All the points I seen to get my attention. But from all the posts I have seen here I like the way they have been done to respond to the poster! No like just responses like that’s a bad idea you suck are you crazy! I think you should still get one transfer for Free Imagine this Scenario

New player gets game after friend told them to get it to play it with them new person logs on “see’s server select screen” either don’t know what server his friend is on or don’t fully understand the consequences of not waiting for his friend to come on to tell him what server to pick. Or just Hell is so excited to wana play on any server just pick’s one and starts playing. So they are playing and friend gets on and he’s like okie i’m on lets play what server are you on? (..as you know you should all know were this next set of lines are going to go…) I’m on X Server! (them beeing all happy) (friend response) Duh! you picked the wrong server! (OMG now they sad) and there you have it in a nut shell why even with Guesting ONE transfer should be free on the creation of all new accouts as that person bought the game to play with that person and via his own issue to rush understand ect what have you is now penalized. That is a kind of mistake the game creators and we can all relate to right? and then after that One Transfer there is no excuse to still have anymore issues unless they did not have there glasses on when reading the world transfer server list….

and yes the battle zs Zhaitan was so Anti Climatic…shooting him while he’s just hanging around…although I had originaly expected it to be on some open world map with 50+ people there so when I was like it’s a 5 man dungeon I was like .…not as epic as I thought…although it seems it would have to be in a instance but redone for up to 30+ to enter that dungeon (insert other viable options here)

having you have to beat Story Mode in pve also being a requirement to offset the price of Commander book as a requirement maybe for the 50-70? Then wvw would have a tie in with pve as trehearn is calling you commander well you got that title when the pact was first formed but by the end of the store mode just make it make more sense.

lol I remember those fights in the desolate waste. Although alot of things should be bought back in from gw’s 1 if nothing else then Nostalgia. I had a tech support question even had a small lil q and a session with the person answering my question’s although that was not the original reason for the ticket but he noticed I said I like what they did with Eye of the North and he suggested some other area’s I might find useful to explore. So were ever that guy is Hopefully he is doing well as I appreciated him actually paying attention to what I said.

Hm I read the whole thing and the only thing I seen that really got my attention was what TheDaiBish.9735 “Well, considering that these coming updates are supposed to improve the game, I’d leave the QQing until then.” When is Guild wars going to get a major overhaul to fix these bugs I have not seen a major patch in going on a month the guesting system is still not working (My friends I wana play with but can’t are all but about to move onto something else soon) but yes I have seen these teleporting bot’s they littely appear and disapear before you can click on them to report (as even if you click on them once that move off your screen they are unselected as moved out of range)

Well With expansions new places to explore maybe guild wars can come up with new machanic’s for maps all together like a toned down fractals one person can do alone. Guild Wars Hm Kinda Like Second Life have alot of potential and like second life well unlike second life because only the developers can edit change maps but Imagination is a kea also. Hopefully A.Net is letting there developers have fun enjoy what they do and not crack a whip over there back as that will lead to lineal unimaginative wow thinking…

Hm…Im not for or against mounts but I will point out one problem with Robo’s and Ex’s statements if your clearing the enemies at the contestant way point….your already there and you do not need the way point anymore witch only helps the posters argument. as if he has to go clear it he just..walked there did he not and current at the way point? and some events require more then one person. And again not for or against I was just reading and that blaring issue was just like Hello to me that all the counter arguments was not thought out about already having to be there to clear the way point. ^^; As myself running a Elemental though Orr was forced to just abandon some area’s all together and my plea for help on those maps as everyone knows is kinda deserted fell on death ears. So I can see were he is coming from I think a modified version of his idea is don’t make it so you can’t teleport to waypoints just let the (Contested) be a warning that your tping into a hot zone and might even be dead before the map loads.

Hm your Issue mirrored Mine With the Guesting system not working “yet” and my own small guild having it so I can’t move because of the once a week server transfers and plus all the upgrades my friends help get will have been thrown out the window. So No Guesting and your issue creates one big headache…

Hm I was kinda thinking a kinda using the Eternal Battlefild as a border as long as you own something in eternal battlefild it prevents your home server from direct attack you lose everything in eternal battlefild portal for everyone else to come onto your homeworld borderland opens.

well I agree on what you said to the point of once you restart you have to go from start to finish to reset again and mainly because with all the story line options vs character slots available without having to buy some you will have to delete character when you hit your 5 character creation limit.

what good is a economy were you can’t play with your friends mining ect is all useless compared to you having friends on multiple servers. Especially when they are on more then one server were changing servers can now only done once per week. how exactly can that be compared to game economics’s when you can’t play with your friends it makes it all useless. at least to me it does. As I already wana play with a few friends but can’t just see them on and be like sooo close yet soo farr awayyy. I dought anyone can come up with a argument that can counter just that statement alone while the underling issue is the guesting system a.net seems to can’t even come up with a eta for completion. Guild Wars 2 is a great game but without your friends to play it it kinda goes from a mmorpg to a single player game kinda. My friends in my case started playing guild wars on there own I did not know that had it while playing they have commitments and friends they made there and I ended up making some friends that helped me out of tight spots myself. So I can’t server hop unless I wana pay real money after the first week transfer is up. And thus in the issue about overflow servers back to the point after explaining economics vs friends as of yet the overflow idea is is the only solution short of a.net actually getting guesting to work I have seen so far. and not to mention I have my own small guild on my server upgrades are server bound and as small as my group is to get back what I have on another server would be a kick in the face to my friends I have in it. So Bad things all day long.
