I’ll be honest with you. I read your first post and replied to you with a copy/paste. Only because that is easier for me instead of feeling like I am forgetting something. I want you to know everything there is to know about my guild so you can have a good feeling when applying. I know how annoying it can be to apply to a guild and find out they weren’t honest or truthful in who they are and find out you just don’t fit well with them.

I ONLY reply to LFG posts that I feel the person is describing my guild, because I personally am not after numbers, I’m looking for cool cats that sound like they would have a grand time with us and have good things to offer to the rest of the group.

Here I am again, reading your post. I will type everything in by hand and hopefully not forget something so I will also just direct you to our Guild Thread and website in case I do.

[UM] Is a small-medium sized PvX guild that is social, uses TS3 (but does not require) and enjoys all things the game has to offer. We are on FA but don’t let the tier fool you as FA is the server that is used to fighting outmanned, but not outgunned. In WvW the server has many smaller guilds like us, all coordinating across the map, with only 2-3 “larger” guilds so the amount of zerg on our server isn’t non-existant it’s just that the server knows how to work by splitting off. [UM] WvWs twice a week on schedule with ~10 of us and anytime off schedule through out the week.

In PvE we have another Dungeon Master group in the works, almost 2 groups in-fact so if goal progression like that interests you then we are the place to be as our guild enjoys helping each other reach their goals!

Most of our events are scheduled around Eastern time so I think with what you described above that we would work out well. Let me know if you have any other questions and again, check out the links I provided so you can fill in the blanks for me, haha. Good luck!

The Unholy Mackerels [UM] is a very social PvX guild on FA. The majority of our active members use TS3 and we enjoy all things the game has to throw at us. We currently have another Dungeon Master group about to start up – almost 2 in fact and we WvW “officially” (aka scheduled) twice a week and WvW throughout the week off schedule.

In WvW we like to run havoc styled play with ~10 on for our event nights. We excell at PPT and are improving our fights every time we go out there, and always looking for ways to improve. We have casuals in our group and semi-casuals so we know how to have fun laughing our kitten off one moment and getting serious the next!

While I will admit right off the bat spvp is probably our “least” focused play, we do like to hop in to spvp…someone usually initiates it first and then it’s a domino effect because we want to play things that the rest of the guild is playing. With that said, we are well rounded and can go from world bosses, to a dungeon to help someone get their badges or level their chara, to spvp for daily or join in on some WvW fun. The Unholy Mackerels is proud to announce it’s next event! UM Rat Race. For this event, you will test your evasion skills against high level mobs that want your soul. It’s a race against others to the finish for the grand prize. Every participant that completes the map in under 30 minutes will receive a completion prize! The catch: no armor, no speed buffs, no food, and only 3 deaths allowed! You must be on your lowest level character! If you have an open character slot and create an asuran to run in this race – bonus prizes to you! To make this fair to everyone traits only up to the Adept line are allowed (as we know some people do not have free character slots or very low level characters) You can compete in any and all tiers.

What about WvW?
In WvW alone,we run havoc playstyle. This means usually no more than ~10 in our squad running WvW to try to make a big impact on the server with as little people needed as possible. We enjoy taking camps before the flip, breaking supply lines, knocking on tower doors to draw the enemy to the opposite side of the map while our core group takes a keep, sneaking tower captures and general overall havoc to the enemy team! We do all of this while maintaining the semi-casual atmosphere meaning one moment we are killing red names the next we are laughing our kitten off because one of us walked off a cliff while looking at the map. Things like that are very normal for a WvW night with us.

What We Do
We currently run weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, Fractals, Guild Treks and Guild Bounties (Guild Rush unlock is currently 50% done). Members of “Regular” rank are granted abilities to schedule events too to ensure the guild is having fun the way it’s members want to! Also we provide FUN events and random guild chat trivia with prizes. There is always something going on daily, typically between 6PM-1AM Eastern.

What Server We Are On
You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A tier 2 server for WvW, has a busy PvE population in maps, has a friendly community forums for all things GW2, also has a community teamspeak where everyone is welcome which also has our own guild channel (however we use our private TS in most cases). All-in-all, a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to just have fun.

What if I’m not on FA?
No fear! UM allows recruits to guest for up to a month in order to help everyone to have time to gather in game gold or irl money in order to transfer. Our staff and members are also more than willing to help by running events to help out! With all the events we run it is very easy to make the money to transfer in as little as a week.

Just had our first Lowbie Lvling day for those needing to level their first characters or alts! It went great as we map cleared Caledon forest together – goes much faster with +Exp buffs, banners, food and lots of friends to chat with while killing baddies.

We have a group going for their Dungeon Master title. After about a week in, we are only 2 dungeons to go til victory! Just finished Arah Path 4 this weekend in 4 hrs (would have been 3hrs if not for a bugged boss)
