We are a PvX guild with a pride in respecting others, no matter their play style or play level. We also are tight knit and enjoy getting to know one another through activities such as Dungeons, WvW, Fractals, sPvP, or partying up in PvE to do Orr events and
Dragons, and even helping with lvling main characters and alts.

The Unholy Mackerels has a core group of active members and we are building upon that, however doing so slowly so we get to know each and every one. We currently are a medium size guild with 63 members and with ~25 of us active daily, consisting of mostly NA members.

We are quite the social guild through teamspeak and guild chat. We use teamspeak but do not require it. Our newer members can listen in on the first few days and talk when they feel comfortable, however most talk within minutes because of how easy going everyone is!

What We Do
We currently run weekly scheduled WvW, Dungeons, Fractals, Guild Treks and Guild Bounties and do any of the above throughout the week off schedule. Also we provide FUN events and random guild chat trivia with prizes. There is always something going on daily, usually any time after 6pm EST – 2am EST during the weekdays and any time during the weekends.

What Server We Are On
You can find us on the Fort Aspenwood server. A tier 2 server for WvW, has quite a busy PvE population in maps, has a friendly community forums for all things GW2, also has a community teamspeak where everyone is welcome and also has our own guild channel (however we use our private TS in most cases), and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to just have fun.

What if I’m not on FA?
No fear! UM allows recruits to guest for up to a month in order to help everyone to have time to gather in game gold or irl money in order to transfer. Our staff and members are also more than willing to help by running events to help out! With all the events we run it is very easy to make the money to transfer in as little as a week.

Open on Fort Aspenwood!

I transferred to FA with my guild a few months ago and instantly we felt at home at FA. Everyone welcomed us, was sure to get us set up on the community forum and TS, and we were able to fit in right away in WvW. Being a PvX guild wanting to build and improve it’s WvW core, this was great! There are loads of opportunity for the large guilds and we have many medium-small guilds, all working together amazingly without being told that “your guild has to do this.” Each guild plays an important part here and you will definitely feel the love and pride for each other.

There really are so many great people on FA, the community is truly what makes our server awesome!

Definitely a success! We followed up with a guild bounty right after the guild trek with 10 guildies participating. Through great teamwork and communication, we worked together to take down both bounties. Everyone worked beautifully together even with a difficult bounty!

Such a fun high of success-fullness with the guild, including a total count of 30+ exotics found that day by guild members, with one guild member finding 8 exotics in one day!

Also we provide FUN events and random guild chat trivia with prizes. A tier 2 server for WvW, has quite a busy PvE population in maps, has a friendly community forums for all things GW2, also has a community teamspeak where everyone is welcome and also has our own guild channel (however we use our private TS in most cases), and a server that enjoys working together through good communication while playing to just have fun.

What if I’m not on FA?
No fear! UM allows recruits to guest for up to a month in order to help everyone to have time to gather in game gold or irl money in order to transfer. Our staff and members are also more than willing to help by running events to help out! With all the events we run it is very easy to make the money to transfer in as little as a week.

Hey there Phelan, We have members of all kinds of activity and don’t require anyone to sign in x amount of days per week. All of our events are drop in attendance. We all understand real life comes first so with that, most of our members are casual to semi-hardcore and we come together as friends to enjoy the game and to have a good time.

This Saturday at 6pm EST we will be hosting an easter egg hunt for the Unholy Mackerels in Lion’s Arch! Each staff member will be an easter egg, hiding somewhere in Lion’s Arch! If you find a staff member you win 2.5 gold from that person. Try to find all 4 eggs to win up to 10 gold! Each egg can only be found a maximum of 5 times and only once per person so the race will be on to ensure you get that 10g! Not only do you have to find the egg but you also have to figure out how the egg got to where they are! Jumping in TS is a must! We also will provide a tunes room if you’d like to relax and listen to some tunes while on your hunt.
