Still waiting for them to make hotjoins 5 v 5, and make the punishment more harsh for leaving and apply it to hotjoin. If they want 8 v 8 shouldn’t private-arenas be for madness like that?

Why the hell would you punish people for leaving HOT JOIN. It’s made so people can hop in, muck around then leave or kill time inbetween solo queues. There’s been so much whinging from this forum about hotjoin being unbalanced, even though it’s not competitive in any way and the reward difference between win/losses is only 75 glory.

It’s… hot join. What’s wrong with letting friends stack on one team? There’s a 75 point difference between the winning and losing team in regards to glory so I don’t see winning as an issue. If you don’t want to get facerolled, just join a new server. It’s hot join.

So we finally get gold rewards form tpvp and people are complaining about it. I rather get 8 to 10s per win than crappy armor skins and paid tokens which I’m swimming in.

How to stop losing in solo queue and get on the leaderboard.
1. Play a meta build that can carry
2. Carry
3. Never solo queue without syncing again

Hey everybody, I’m looking for a team to compete in the legendary tournament with. For anyone that doesn’t know me, I go by the name Curie and I’ve been tpvping on and off since near the start of release.

As of this current post, I’m ranked 18th on the team arena leaderboard and r54 in game, with over 1000 tournament games won. I currently main spirit ranger however I am a flexible player and am able to pick up most classes, which may be handy after the “balance” patch. I currently have 5 champion titles for guardian, mesmer, ranger, thief and warrior.

If anyone is interested, send me a mail in game. On weekdays I play on oceanic times due to my university schedule but I can make NA times on the weekend if eneded.

The internal cd for glacial heart is a big problem, which is why I had to supplement in double hydromancy sigils. Think I might just end up going back to the old triple med build instead.

This can occasionally happen and its why we also warn you that the patch is inbound. Each patch brings the PvP servers down which can cause some odd occurrences for those who managed to bypass our servers being down. Additionally there is never a state in which tournament match statistics are not recorded. It is one of the reasons we give you a warning that the patch is coming shortly.

We didn’t get a patch warning until after the pvp server got shut down though. This was around 3 hours before the build was live.

Pvp server decides to shut down right after I get a solo queue pop. For the next 15min, the solo queue pop up notice appears every 5secs reminding me I have a match in 60seconds. Posting this here hoping Anet does something about this (after delaying it for another half year) and hopefully this does not count as a loss, which it shouldn’t since nobody should be in the match.

That sounds way too easy. 500-1000 paid tokens would be an appropriate amount in my opinion, along with 2.5k powders and 500 slivers.
