The mini shocktrooper holds his greatsword like one of those culling affected people. I don’t think this is intended and it looks idiotic when he runs around.

Title says it all. I really dont want to play through the story over and over to unlock it on all my chars.

I think this has been requested very often and I think it’s reasonable.

I love the idea of new hairstyles but shouldn’t you begin with the race which has the least options? → asura!

I made 30g pure gold from dungeons today. I get a lot more gold than before. This update is causing an inflation and not preventing it.

Actually with this Update I am making a lot more gold than before. I don’t even have to sell the mats I’m getting (which I did before) and still get more gold.
That said I think it’s very stupid they give almost the same gold across the board.

1H sword is best dps option for guardian. If you want to play support, you’re truly kittened. Check out Brazil’s build.

Some dev said in a Q&A that guild management is not a priority and will not be changed soon.
Meanwhile they introduce tons of Living story stuff.
I mean it is okay but I’d rather have the game polished than new content.

Noticeable weather would be awesome! Anet proved in the snowblind fractal what they can do with light/darkness/weather and what awesome scenarios it creates.
And there is already wind in the game, I noticed it in only one place tho. In the Diedre’s steps JP on the wind elementals with tall grass. Looks pretty awesome.
Also the night needs to be a little darker, maybe even have moon cycles.We definetily need this. They’re always talking how the world should feel “alive” and this would help a lot more than these constant updates

IF they do this they also need to add a detail lvl for those things because some people are playing GW2 on toasters xD

Looking for a dungeon run only guild. I am not interested in WvW, sPvP, Missions etc.
With this new patch we’re required to run more different dungeons and I’m pretty tired of pugs so I thought I’d look for a guild.

What I expect from the guild:

• Experienced people, so I can run with everyone in the guild (kinda obvious^^)
• No tiny guilds, I need to find people to run dungeons with
• Representing required
• No idiots/ragequitters
• Nice community
• Optional: TS for smoother runs/more fun

What I bring to the guild:

• Lots of experience (2,400 hours, playing since BWE1)
• Several chars on 80 with exotics (all except thief+necro)
• Most experienced on mesmer (1,700 hours)
• Fractal lv48 with mesmer
• Plenty of time

I do not know every dungeon path perfectly (I have dungeon master), but I am willing to learn.
I am currently playing on Desolation and plan to stay here.
I also speak german (native language) and italian ( not so well, but enough to communicate) but I’d prefer an international guild.
/w me ingame or answer here if I am not online :)

And pleeease add a 4th dye slot for the arm/goggles <.<

Dyeing the flames would be rather complicated i think. I, personally, am not a big fan of the cof armour.
And before they do that they have to add a 4th dye slot to asura t3 light :P

As a person who loves rata sum and doesn’t like LA, I would love to see mystic forges and unified waypoint cost in all cities. The only reasons I wp to LA is the mystic forge and the waypoint cost.
This should also bring more people to the racial cities.

This has been suggested multiple times by multiple people and it shouldn’t be too hard to implement.

Pretty sure they won’t make all weapons for all professions, or atleast not in one go as this would be huge amount of work. Adding 1-2 weapons to each profession might happen.

I think mesmer is fine.
Someone in this thread said Anet considers swiftness a defensive boon; that’s because it is a defensive boon. You’re able to get out of AoE without wasting your stamina. Mesmer has a lot of teleports and in-combat-mobility which makes up for it. I don’t really mind that I don’t have permaswiftness.
And just make an asura mesmer. Everything seems faster on asura :P

Zerker is most fun to play because it has no defense. Which you can mitigate by dodging/using your skills correctly. The higher damage output is kind of a reward for mastering your skills
Saying that i don’t play zerker/rampager on all my alts. I love playing cleric on my guard/ele and I use carrion on my ranger because playing every class with zerker wouldn’t be fun.

I really don’t think any other classes will get GS/sword because we already have 4 classes which use them. Before giving gs/sword to another class, they will give you some other weapons. (hammer mabye?)

I approve of everything OP said. People with alts are screwed. I’ve always hated that I had to spend laurels to get amulets.
Of course alts require more gold+work but that’s the fun about them. Limiting to 1/day is the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard Anet say.
And I don’t get what’s so bad about grinding. No one is forcing you to. Here, again, we see how Anet fails with work vs. reward. Which is probably their main issue in the game.
If I want to grind to gear up my alts, why don’t let me?

They are crafting materials afaik. Atleast you need silver or platinum ones for the juggernaught.

Yes to ascended gear if it is possible to acquire the same way as you do exotics for higher prices/rarer chance. (dungeon,karma,crafting,random drops,wvw). Additionally there should be upgrade possibility for exotics. Under these conditions I think it’s okay to add them.

This upgrade possibility will probably not be in the gemstore because it goes against Anet’s philosophy (no pay2win).

And the crafted stuff should NOT be timegated. Timegated content makes me (and probably everyone else) super angry!
Also making them account bound is pretty stupid. The crafted ones, okay, but the randomness of the stats renders dropped ascended items basically useless.

So my choices are:
*Spend tons of money to gear up all my alts
*Play the RNG game

In addition to both these options, it’s also time gated!
Anet what the hell did you smoke?
Everyone hates spending tons of money (i.e. grinding, which you also completely detest and block in every possible way) and everyone hates RNG.
What’s wrong with tokens or karma? I’m ready to spend tons of dungeon tokens, wvw badges or karma on those items.
And forget about time gated content. Let the players play when they want and not force them to play every day if they want this gear.

Crafting gear should be one of many ways to get equipment.

Higher lvl=higher chance afaik. He’s using a variety of lvl 80 ones, I even see some named ones.

TBH i prefer gear treadmills to time gated content. And I don’t understand the hate on gear treadmills. They’re a nice past-time and you can set new goals.
Also the new ascended items will be treadmill AND time gated.
Time gated content is the worst content. ever.

How much did you spend for the exotics?

blind is fine as it is imo. It is an area denial like every other AoE. You can still use AoE,healing and defensive skills. And if you really want to 100bladehurrdurr then you’ll just have to die^^

Mesmer mainhand pistol. I know lots of mesmers want that :P
