and thats why crafting isnt profitable .
its too simplified

my experience with Final Fantasy XIV ARR crafting, the best feel after WoW age

try a bit FFXIV till lvl cap and finish all end game dungeon, then try crafting.
this game have definitely enjoying crafting system , well except the gathering part its just grind dumb.

while GW2 Crafting have similar in a way
where you craft ingot, then bolt to make inscription and chest padding and plate and sort. basicly its just the same generic from 1-400 or 500 now.

in FFxiv, the interaction with other crafting job makes it more variable and much more fun to craft. well if you include the minigame while crafting. you can make HQ ( high quality ) item that have better stat than normal ones

for exp. to craft chest armor, you need plate and rivet or sometimes ring, and all come from same ore that craft to plate/ rivet / ring, then you need some cloth stuff from weavering (tailoring in gw2) which is different crafting class needed to craft unlike GW2 that 1 crafter can build anything from 1-500

armor crafting can make best endgame armor if you make HQ and full slot .
this make the crafting have important role toward best gear

its not like i compare much ,
but i hope it does changed on GW2 crafting system. say future ascended armor like.

while GW2 stand on top on almost every aspect in FFxiv in my opinion, crafting side, GW2 is nothing.
look a bit other game for reference doesnt hurt and anything that works is good

more variety weapon skill for current skill, make us able to switch skill that we like.

like utility

just gives out word.
orb of light. staff skill 2 still bugged and have to detonate to have it recooldown

you miss an expansion worth temporary content

the only thing WoW was better than GW2 is Cloaks and Mount

how bout shield function like warrior/engi when traited will add bubble like current + block melee aswell,

atleast engi and warrior can enjoy they 2 good skill on shield and guardian gets 1 useless and 1 good skills for shield

i know . but after a year and a new trailer up for china, does the dev realize thier mistake and maybe will probably change a bit to guardian shield user… maybe a little ninja tweak during patch sometime in future.

feels like this embarrassing my self.
i cant get the feel for a shield that cant do it basic function properly.
not just in pve, i dont even feel it in pvp, and i do use shield on my loadout for pvp

basicly anything that makes a shield function like a shield
or remove knockback on current skill 5 and keep the absorb bubble + block incoming melee attack like warrior and engineer ones…

thats 1 idea, current guardian shield skill is fail by design. any changes made are welcomed

we know how it supposed to end.

another patch hit today…. and it all reset all over again.
this is getting tiresome.

just asking, since patch is great, the mining node scrambling is annoying, orrmaps is indeed helpful, but Anet server reset each patch/new build keep crushing their morale.
atleast i stopped updating.

can i be lazy and look at mining map soon?

no armor skin ones ?
i thought there were gauntlet and helmet

combat is definitly best than other mmorpg, but downed state and rally just killed the flow…

Perfect Inscriptions Signet passive effects are improved

the only signet is resolve , what does it improve ?
or does “Blind Exposure: Applying blind also applies vulnerability” make for better choice ?
atleast for F1 and greatsword leap causes blind

and another.
your acc goes cleric, does healing power effect vamp x2 or leeching ?
or just give boost to dodge roll heal

1) massive WvW map like planetside2 current map
2) mounted combat (may that be tank / transport / aerial)
3) scarier siege weapon (balista & catapult hit harder, treb 1shot people)
4) temporary consumeable weapons (like rifles / bow / ranged weapon for undergeared or non eligible ranged class, ofc drawback is you cant swap weapon)
5) 1 hit door contested is dumb too, remove that
6) downed state pretty bizarre feature on War Games, remove that, or just the rally ones

anything related to guild is too much bug.
from chat log to “you are not in a guild”

if they dont want treb to be blocked, they should just fix treb projectile instead

if there is no transfer, the WvW might not ruin the server, but destroy the game , then the game dies slowly and we can see more server merges is that what you want?

all server were great.

i liked necro scepter, its too fast to watch with naked eye…

learn something from planetside2, that game is GW2 FPS mode

they need to buff retribution , then can be on par with confusion

- sword skill 1, combo 3 “arc” something, cant hit flaming ram
- sword skill 3, dumb aiming the further the target
- scepter skill 1 orb too slow and always miss if start casting in range to a moving target
- shield skill 5, bugged if i try to cast it while being immobilize , and can we have cast that while moving please ?

multi guild feature is already a screw up,
so most people do have a bank guild for personal use other than active guild, while you in world map or dungeon and bags full, you can use vault transport to haul all your loot to later sell it or just store.

making new guild is free, and add vault transport so cheap, its like you dont need additional bag slot if you can have couple personal guild all for your self
