I’m getting some kind of face to the wall perspective now and then. Seems to be caused by collision with geography and objects. So I find my self having to looks directly down at my character via camera swing to try to avoid it. I never had this problem during the BWE weekends, not sure why I do now.

I had an earlier post in here about my pick up tab being locked up. It ended up being fixed via maintenance though it kept my silver for items never received. That’s ok though I was just glad to have it working again. Couple of days ago though it happened again and now my pick up tab is locked up again. I noted that the problem seems to happen to me only when buying harvested items like ore. After last nights maintenance it did not fix this time so I thought I would post and let you know its still stuck. I cant be the only person this kind of thing is happening to so it has to be effecting the economy. Ah well , out to grind some ore again.

I think the bow is awesome just as it is. As a matter of fact when it was first leaked I know a lot of people who were very pleased.

A lot of people are starting to just run and use the LA gates. I have noticed its taking longer to get though them now too. The cost of travel does eat up a lot of cash. IMO there are too many way points but they cost too much vs the flow of cash though the player.

Yes! I remember trying to play a slender caster Charr back in the BWEs and the torso does not scale properly to a smaller body so she ended up looking like you could drive a Mac truck between her legs 0.o. The ultra large very plush male Charr seems to work best.

I have a lot of problems with the thief skills as well. Some I don’t even use cause they move the thief out of range or do the 2ndary part of the skill initially instead of after the first. The Class is clearly at least partially bugged. Now to people who pretty much do nothing but group activities this may not be apparent but for soloing not all of the weapon sets are working right.

I know some events I come across are having the boss go down in less than 20 seconds . That should never happen. Perhaps even if a delay like some kind of phasing would help at least to delay the kill long enough for local players to actually get there in time.

I find I have to use dps pet as a starter and let it get in one good hit, then I can fire away with out aggro. However its slow but my ranger is generally feeling slower dps wise as I level up.

I don’t know about damage cause I’m not advanced in my thief but I do know that its now sending me too far and just out of range.

Today I purchased some crafting parts on the trading post but when I made the purchase I got a pop up connectivity error message. When I checked the trade took my silver but the pick up item list was empty. I thought it would catch up after a while but its been at least 4 hours now and still nothing. To add to this I made another purchase later on and it went fine accept that I can not pick up the new item because my take all button is grayed out [assuming its waiting for the original items to show up]. There is no button to only get one item so basically my ability to buy on the trading post now is literally stuck.

Hope it fixes soon. I did submit an in game bug report.

Same, had to go back to normal size UI though I don’t like the amount it intrudes on the environmental space. I’m at 1680 × 1050, same as desktop.

I have the same card and get between 30 – 50 fps depending on the population around me. I did a max then turned down a couple of things like shadows to medium. Keep in mind the gpu by it self is not the whole thing regarding preformance. I run an older phenom II black edition cpu and 8 gigs of ram so not its an ok rig but could be better. At any rate the only issues I have seen are a few spots where geography background blanks out and I will get a partial or whole screen of one layer [like sky] and not the rest. They are very few and small spots and seem to depend on camera angle so I was thinking it was it might be an optimizing issue on their part, but just guessing.

For the most part game runs beautifully and is gorgeous. I did send a tweet to one of the Catalyst devs requesting they look into support for GW2.

Just curious, did friend have an @ncsoft email type user name?

I have the request for email validation showing up when I log in, but as advised by one Twitter post I so far ignore it. The login message wants to validate my ncsoft email address but its not a real email address so it cant. I tried to change it to my actual email address but since that was already in my account and I do get emails the system cant accept it cause the email address is already in use, even though its me. I worry that one of these days its not going to let me log in. Somebody really needs to sort out this @ncsoft user name issue so the mechanism in place stops getting confused.

Anyway if your friend got the kind of message I got on the log on screen it was wanting to validate the username email address and if that was different that the one used to originally register the game, it may have sent it to the username.
