Way point travel eats a lot of coin. That’s my only thing with economy.

As I read though these it occurred to me that there was an account name issue with Anet sometime ago and that they gave people at the time new account names being an anet email. The HOM items were already working for people to gather points by that time. At GW2 start up and beta it became an issue so we got to make new account names. Anet needs a way for people to show who they were then and who they are now. In other worlds identifying who worked on HOM early on might be kind of tricky. :/ I lost my roaming around HOM pets and the vendor wont work ether for me but I can still teleport to it and walk around and pick up the point of interest. I still have minis saved to the account and the costumes I used before seem to have saved from HOM but only my older ranger has the pets [might be nice if we could share HOM ranger pets with new toons] . The only other thing I might suggest if the HOM is being a real tangled problem is that the pets and costumes be placed in the game another way. /shrug

I returned to the game some months ago and I realized somethings have changed, but I still have my hall of monuments item that takes me there. I zoned in and the first thing I notice is that the pets are gone. Then I talk to the merchant and I get the message “That content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.” Tried it on several characters, old and new and I’m at a loss.

Just a suggestion … There is a button to represent the guild. Did they do that? If you dont its almost like your not in the guild.

Recently [less than a month ago] I returned to GW2 after a long absence. When I did I didn’t know anything about the saving of skins so I just had them on some characters … I did what we used to do and placed them in the bank and deleted the characters I no longer wanted. When I did this the skins yanked back out of the bank and vanished with them. I didn’t know anything about skin saving and of course did not do that.

Is there a way to get them back? :/

Been about 2 months that I noticed the search problem, still not working for me. The only search returns I get now is that it seems to find matching letters in my own recent post from the same day and nothing else. :/

Its a natural evolution of having higher level content too hard/tedious with overlapping events. They are playing where they feel comfortable playing. I don’t like the farming trains ether but where else is casual gaming going to play?

I don’t think the game was designed for mounts, just a guess. Also how you going to dump tons of your game coin on gates if you got a mount?

Some more creative hats and hair pieces would be nice. The kind where you can see your hair.

My GW2 Dat file is 18.5 GB in size. That seems kind of big so I was wondering if it should have been reducing it self over time or if there was some kind of maintenance I should do. One of the reasons I wonder is I’m still running the original final client from pre order beta.

I don’t have time to camp dungeons and don’t have the mental fortitude to ignore but play with belligerent mean spirited players and hope to catch off and on the nice players. Lots of people corralling mobs in dailies now and doing quick kill AEs. I don’t know how to fix it but its making me sad. Maybe some automated parts of the game make it too easy to not communicate?

I have a question about the ranger/pet destealthing thing. If you can not see a target so you can target it , then how do you tell the pet to Sick’Em?

For potential future, I really dislike the ground target/pointer direction target thing. Give me the option to anchor AE ground target abilities to an actual target.

I think some people are not going to read carefully and then get pretty mad. Also I cant see spending money on the downgraded model. :/

I tried it twice but did not manage to finish the event and haven’t gone back. A lot of people who were leading the events were quite frankly verbally abusive and did not want to deal with anyone who didn’t already know exactly what to do. For this reason I really do not think that just adding rewards to keep people coming back will work unless the idea is to just keep the same people coming back to farm it. If there was an extra reward for playing the part of mentors by having a certain percentage or number of the event participants that have not finished it, that might actually work.

The cannon campers are a pain though, agree with that.

Also you can check your progress in the achievement tab, on each essence consumed. That way you can be certain that it increases. The requirement raise alot with each level. In the beginning its just 100 to next MF percentage, at 60% its somewhere around 1000.

Is there something I’m missing? The consumable drop items usage seems to do nothing past mf 25. Sorry if I’m missing something but forum search seems to be broken for me also.

My searches are doing nothing at all. Its as if I just loaded up the forum page with out a search. Bleh!

I logged in to find my superior runes of the pirate already stat changed and the price of my choice of replacement stats rune more than I had on me. I was under the impression that we were to be able to choose but the only thing I had a choice on was my main weapon. Everything I was wearing had an upgrade with MF on it and I got auto shifted to stats that would not be my choosing.

Next time I want dinner and a movie. :/

This is having a negative effect on PVE frame rates. Even when I make the recommended adjustments the game has graphic lag and does not look as good, bad idea. I really do not understand the point of fixing something that was not broken to the point where it is now broken. As a long time MMO player though I have seen this kind of thing before … sigh.

Its very frustrating to get nice stuff in a reward chest only to find its a mix of class required stuff that you can only use a piece or two of if that AND its soul bound to that character only. If your going to put this gear in these chest then the system ether needs to read from the character opening it properly so its for their class or make them account bound.

edit: eventually figured it out but had to research it. Never occurred to me to check the achievement panel for a copy … still digesting lol

Typically there is a pre launch dev team and a post launch that might include some original members. Its an unfortunate fact of employment and modern society for most developing projects of any kind. This being said its unlikely IMO that such intensive content such as the main personal story quest would be re-polished for other than functional issues.

I agree with the OP. Its so depressing that I stopped doing personal stories.

Its really annoying that dev tracker in Guild Wars 2 forums is mostly filled with account issues that have forum devs acting as liaisons between players and the account department. In most other games I have played one could keep up with game changes and game info by keeping track of dev trackers but here its mostly responses to account issues so its like looking for a needle in a hay stack of post.

Could we please maybe get a filter option of forum sections to use with dev tracker?

I would love capes with guild emblems on them.

Mounts as entertainment are one thing but I don’t think the game is set up for other game type mounts that significantly increase a players speed.

I would love to have more pants options on my casters, and maybe more skirt options on my Asura.

Yes its very annoying to have to open bag find pet in bag and double click it … every time you zone. Feels like unfinished development honestly.

My husband didn’t get it. I did and oddly enough middle of the week before the weekend. It would be nice if they extended the opportunity before the end and let people know about it in game with out having to research it. Also when I did see the fireworks they were almost not noticeable at least to me.

Just did the new patch and Poof it completed the “Dragon Bash Experience” Achievement and gave me the wings even though I was still 2 short of finishing “Every Piece Matters”. Now I’m at one of the sites and the NPC to question is gone.

Does this mean I cant finish it?

I did the tavern and completed the cut scene one but the person with the star on her head did not complete it. She gave me nothing and only kept telling me to talk to her friend. Also she kept the star on her head as if she was stuck with out being able to finish.

edit: the problem just seems so far to be the instance is not telling some they are done with it. When I mouse over the achievement in the list it gives me clues where to go next.

I hope so. Due to overtime working my husband missed the fireworks. I don’t want to wear the thing for this reason. I honestly do not understand ether, the thing is not done yet, why remove the nightly fire works till it is?

Seem to recall similar issue with the winter fest spawning nodes. I had my tail handed to me by a dolly quite a few times lol.

Well the RNG is pretty much virtual dice and every time you play and kill something or even harvest you use it. However just to play DA if you buy gems with RL money and then buy gold with those gems and use it to play a betting game in game …

Yes relax everyone who watches the fireworks show should get it, just maybe need to be there right time of day /game time? Its not unfair as everyone can easily get it, not competing with any other skins.

I know this is an old complaint but didn’t get a hit on a search here. I still have really strange auto target issues in that even though I have it set to closest target, it picks far away targets. It picks targets that are out of range and sometimes not just a little bit. It picks targets that I have no line of sight to at all, like far on the other side of a hill. As this is an old bug from back in beta I was wondering if it was left over from the pre pay beta client version and there is some kind of distance reading issue. I still have the original client that was supposed to be ready to update but I have never found a fix or have seen improvement for this. It seems to be a hit or miss almost random but IMO no game client should have you shooting at things that are way out of range or behind large solid objects so I think I am bugged.

Its the reward for watching the fireworks show. I have one too and I did notice fireworks going off in the overflow I had logged into. It also gave me the achievement for the firework show [it shows a chest icon at the end of it on the list and mine shows its complete]. I just assumed that the show was at a certain time of day and had already started. /shrug

Yes it did and for costumes also, I do miss that. In GW1 though you could get a copy like this for each character via the costume npc, even new toons created later so it was a way for people to get another copy for new characters as well as the same. GW2 seems to be more of a store money sink design so they are partially at least making money off replacements. I think I went though 2 or 3 of the store bought light armor skins and still cant find what I did with the pants LOL. Re-rolling toons has its risk. Would be nice if at least items that were account bound and store bought could be replaced like this though.

The weapon skins on the guild weapon smith vendor are gray on gray on gray [they pretty much look like all they got was the primer]. Its seems to me that they might be unfinished pieces of art. I noticed that there is a 2nd tab with more items to come so it would be really nice if the guild weapon skins might be a good place for dye channels on weapons. Even if we never get to the point of getting it for other weapons it might at least make these skins more popular [I think Ive only seen a few people using it and not recently]

IMO the adult cats [including the HOM reward tabby] are too small. While I agree a kitten shouldn’t be the same size as a lion cub, making the kitten smaller than the current cat size would be too tiny.

So far primary elements seem to be the theme for the mining pick and harvesting tool [fire and water] so just guessing maybe air or earth might be for the next one. I think a lightning strike would look pretty cool my self.
