Yes, this is a problem, mostly in pve and dungeons and some aspects of Pvp.
Let’s hope they are working on it
Well this is it for tonight, tomorrow “Ill be back” in a terminator tone. keep on fighting rangers!
WTB Ranger with pet necro minion……
Bug Wars 2: The Fall Of Rangers, Living Story, Season 3- in this living story, rangers pet become insane and are unable to obey their masters will, what will happen?
Probably nothing, pets will eat their ranger overlords and they will rule the world…
Yeah, i don’t want to imagine when Hot releases, if this patch almost broke the game with so many bugs, imagine when Hot launches… it’s gonna be another bug fest in which warriors will lose f1, necros can’t use death shroud, ele’s can’t switch attunaments, engi’s kits are bugged, thieves can’t stealth, guardian virtues broken, mesmer clones not shattering..
True… who cares about rangers? just let them be bugged.
I feel you, it’s been more than two days and we are still broken with bugged pet mechanics..
Yeah, it’s pretty frustrating to see they haven’t solve this yet..
Another patch, and nothing yet on Rangers buggy pet, how long is this gonna be? we are talking about a class mechanic here…
It seems that pets now seem to attack on passive, please fix this, this totally breaks the ranger mechanic, as we lose control of our pets. I seem to be having a hard time on Dungeons with this certain bug.

Atherakhia, i saw the jumping entangle animation 4 times, so no walking into roots and Frou, he cannot use racial skills in spvp.
Mannek, there was only one ranger, i was fighting 1v1, that is why it was strange.. there was nobody around…
I just fought a ranger in spvp, who used entangle 4 times in a row… from what i remember the cd for entangle was 60 secs… what do you guys think?

I always find it beautiful every time i go, i’m a nature kind of person, i have like 6 sylvari characters and all but the thing is, the place is very huge, El Yunque rainforest some people get lost and never return some return but it is a matter of luck, it is a mystical and mysterious place, it was a sacred forest for the Taino Indians that lived there a long time ago, if there were sylvari i bet they would love the place
so no it does not destroy the beauty of it and yes i get wowed every time i go.

The first picture is from Salinas a town in Puerto Rico known for it’s very dry and arid climate, and the other pictures are from El Yunque rainforest and of Guajataca Forest.

Since Heart Of Thorns is coming soon and it takes place in the Heart Of Maguuma. I realized i live close to a place incredibly similar, i took many pictures of it. what do you guys think?
Everytime i do the serpent strike it goes off to another direction without even hitting the enemy and doing the poison, it didn’t do this before, now it just wonders off without doing any poison when i’m close to the target, does anyone know if it’s a bug or something because i have been playing ranger for a long while and it hasn’t done that before.
Part of the problem is that Anet is forgetting that this an Mmorpg not a tv series. I have no problem with the living story, in it’s original concept, it’s a very creative concept but it is poorly executed. Anet please remember that this is an mmorpg, story is vital to any game, that is true but an mmorpg is about people, an online community of players trying to have fun and help each other, an mmorpg has goals, things to keep the player base satisfied through content that they can play and have something to look forward to. I appreciate Anet trying to do different things from other mmo’s i think it’s good to be original but don’t stray from what an mmo really is, you need to balance things out and decide what you really want, you must structure your ideas, give them a solid base without losing the concept or vision that you had and not to lose the type of genre this game is, an mmorpg.
Do i think the living story was a failure? can’t answer that yet, there is only one episode left, let’s see how it turns out.
The NPE can be really fun, but not having traits until level 30 is kinda slow and boring. I just use my tomes to skip all of that, they should do something about levels 15-30 in the future maybe like expand it a little bit, the way you level fast in those first 15 levels all the way to level 30.
Very true Leo, it would revive a lot of excitement on many veteran players and new players alike, let’s just hope they are working on that, i have a feeling that we will see something great in 2015, something many of us veterans have been waiting for a long time. I know there will be something similar to an expansion, same purpose of providing great amounts of content but in a different way, a way that goes best for Guild Wars 2. I know it’s going to be awesome, everyone will love it! call me a little over optimistic but i feel like it’s gonna happen.
I feel the same, trust me but sometimes i want to believe that they are really working on it. I personally don’t care about new races or other things, i would be really happy with weapons being expanded to other professions since that will give a new fresh experience for many of us and would open a lot of diversity when it comes to builds etc etc.
Like the title says, i would really love this. When i saw Marjory with the greatsword it made me think that it’s time to expand weapons to other professions. Personally i would love.
1. Ranger with Staff.
2. Guardian with a Longbow.
3. Necro with with a Greatsword.
4. Mesmers with Double Pistols.
5. Engineer with a melee weapon (a true melee weapon, not a kit)
Well, that is my personal opinion, i would love this to happen someday, i’m getting tired of the same old skills, they don’t have to add like 300 skills because that would be a balance hell but at least a few skills, fix some utilities skills that are practically worthless, yes my main is a ranger and there are two or three that require some attention. I can be happy with just new weapon sets. What do you guys think?
The Silverwastes, what a great battlefield! such intense war! but little did the pact know, that Tyria’s greatest heroes would be not fighting against an Elder Dragon but to stay at amber with their holy shovels looking for those pretty chests.. Viva los cofres!
I’ll go with Skarthravus
A guy named Praisen posted this on reddit earlier on the day, seriously i just died..

A wonderful commander tag art preview.
Ah, didn’t see that.
Also, I was studying that dragon painting, and it seems like the dragon has strange tendrils hanging from its body. These could be plant-like appendages. But one thing seems sure, it does not look like Primordus as seen in Eye of the North.
That dragon painting looks similar to this concept art. I think perhaps that this dragon may be Mordremoth, look at the head patterns of both pictures, they both have these wavy figure patterns on their heads,it makes sense somehow.
The one talking in the tower of nightmares teaser sounds like a largos…
Well, here is why Scarlet is Crazy and the motivation of her actions..https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/short-story-what-scarlet-saw/?utm_source=client
I usually don’t look at the forums much to tell you the truth, but thanks for that information.
I’m just pointing out a unpleasant experience, that is all.. is there a problem with that? after all this is a forum? where people express their ideas, opinions and problems about the game.
I was doing Arah Path 4, we were doing pretty good, suddenly this idiot knowing that this path would be a little more time consuming says he has to go all of the sudden and then he got us kicked out of the dungeon because he left party. My friend was the party leader but the guy entered first. I find it unfair that if we are doing a dungeon and someone suddenly leaves the party for any reason, we get kicked out as result of that.. Arenanet should really do something about this, it’s really quite frustrating.
Well, i know this post is quite random but since there has been a lot of tension in many places of the forums because of the constant conflict because of the Perma Vs Temp content so far, i want to try something quite fun. Alright so here it goes, since this is a living story thread and Guild Wars 2 has been getting many temp content so far, i have to agree that it is a tv show of some kind with an Episodic nature. We the players of course are the protagonists even though our presence is somewhat irrelevant in these living stories in a way but anyways the point is this, I’m going to type the episodes corresponding to each of the chapters of the living story released so far, for Example.
Episode 8: The Aetherblades
After that, write a summary of the episode using your Character name, for example.
Episode 8: The Aetherblades
Dalgur went to Aetherblade’s Retreat to beat some pirates etc etc. Be creative and funny of course, whatever you wish to write, use your imagination
BUT we all have to agree that if there is a season finale, it must be the attack on an Elder Dragon of course
well in my case since i have been absent from the game for almost 6 months, anyways i’ll write mine.
Episode 1: Prologue to the Flame.
Dalgur was missing in action.
Episode 2: The Gathering Storm
Dalgur Missing in Action.
Episode 3: The Razing
Dalgur Missing in Action.
Episode 4: Retribution
Dalgur Missing in Action.
Episode 5: Secrets Of The Cove.
Dalgur Missing in Action.
Episode 6: The Last Stand
Dalgur Missing in Action.
Episode 7: The Dragon Bash.
Dalgur was missing in action.
Episode 8: The Aetherblades
Dalgur and his party follow the Aetherblades, a group of sky pirates to their Mysterious base to find the source of their attacks.
Episode 9: The Great Bazaar
Dalgur visits the beautiful Bazaar Of The Four Winds to have some fun at the mini games but will be sad if the zone is removed from the Tyrian dimension.
well i made my view of the episodes, now it’s your turn players to be creative and make your episode entries.
I thought that Jormag was making snowmen for the Svanir, Primordus playing Bob the Builder with the destroyers underground, Kralky was making sand castles in the Crystal Desert, Deep Sea Dragon singing “Under the Sea” with his tentacled friends and Mordremoth well i don’t know doing the Tarzan thing on the Maguuma Jungles/Wastes.
Since we have seen all these living stories thus far, i was wondering what are the Elder Dragons doing at the moment? Are they taking a break as they watch everything that goes on Tyria? Have they realized that Zhaitan was killed off and perhaps they could be next? I know the Elder Dragons are not supposed to be super intelligent, as they described them as forces of nature and destruction but i was just curious as to what they could be doing since Zhaitan’s death.
I don’t know if it’s a glitch or anything, i tried everything in options and i can’t see my aoe green circle every time i try to target. I tried to adjust the graphics to higher and lower settings but nothing.
I was remembering Guild Wars: Prophecies and i remember the Charr used the cauldron of Cataclysm to cause the searing and destroy The Great Northern Wall and enter Ascalon. I checked on the Gw1 Wiki about the cauldron and i was curious about this “it is said that the magic powering the cauldron was older than even the Titans, powered by beings who had long ago fallen into sleep.” I assume that those beings that fell into slumber are actually the Elder Dragons which could mean that the cauldron was connected to Kralkatorrik in some way, since he was the one sleeping in their homelands etc etc and i remembering seeing searing crystals around Ascalon in those days which are very similiar to those crystals in the Dragonbrand, Could there be a connection?
Ohh I see, thanks guys
I was exploring Brisban Wildlands with my Engineer then i open my map and i see this circle crater thing to the left of toxal bog, is it a city? maybe even a fortress? it makes me more curious about what lies in the Maguuma Wastes even more. I loved the Maguuma Jungle and it’s lore back in Gw1.
Ohh i see, that makes a lot of sense now, thank you
I was doing Crucible of Eternity path 1 with a group of friends, we struggled against the subject alpha and his infernal areas but then after that came this boss called Bjarl, it’s a cool looking boss but the thing is that we damaged him with 0’s, 50’s and luckily sometimes 100’s plus the life he has is extremely high. In my opinion i think it is stupid and moronic to put a boss which takes a millenium years to take down, i mean what if i don’t have the time enough to finish it? I am sure people don’t have like 2 hours to kill a boss maybe even more than that. We took like 45 minutes to take his life down to maybe possibly a 85% after that we decided to quit and we wasted all of our time. Arenanet, i ask you to please overlook this because it’s way too ridiculous, if anyone else has an opinion about this please i would gladly love to read it, thank you
I dont know if anyone has read Dragonlance especially the War Of Souls trilogy but the ED story is similar to the dragon overlords in War of Souls.. The dragon overlords were gigantic dragons each a diferent color and power that arrived on Krynn- World of Dragonlance to conquer and raise their armies just like the ED.. i mean the only difference is that the ED work alone and are not together like the dragon overlords who had a pact to destroy all races.
