Warrior and guardian is probably the most newbie – forgiving professions.
I’d say avoid engineer and elementalist if you’re new to these kind of games.
I play in Aurora Glade and it’s pretty friendly and active.

Warrior has a rampage form, it’s pretty good, for player-stomping activities.

These are pretty much the same dailies + the ability to choose if you don’t like one or the other, can’t really understand the complaint.

Dodging daily is probably the second easiest to do, just after the crafting one. If you have trouble doing it with regular mobs, find some earth elementals, when they spawn earth wall, dodge over it and you’ll get 1-2 evades, same works with other aoe skills.

Yes, I can confirm, that bug still persists, you have to knock-back the boss, to get him unstuck.

I’ve done three stories and all of them were either harder or at least longer than exp paths so statement about balance issue doesn’t make sense to me.
(of course, this was before they nerfed Arah story to oblivion in latest patches, making Arah story one of the easiest dungeons out there, one guy quit at the beginning of it and we had no problem completing it anyways)

OK, thanks for advice all, I think our main downfall was not being able to interrupt his heal, we probably should have focused on that more, because when he wasn’t running up the stairs we kept lava on him almost 100 % of the time and still couldn’t do enough damage to counter his heal.

And yeah, I know I can enter higher level fractals, but I don’t want to go for lv 10 straight away, without completing the lower ones and then ruin experience for others, because I’m not sure what I’m doing.

Well, this was a pug, so we didn’t have much of a choice – it’s hard enough to find a low level fractals group to be searching for specific professions (I lurked on gw2lfg for about an hour until I found one).
The person running lava wasn’t hitting the boss, but he kept going after him – climbing the stairs and so on, making it impossible to do a consistent smooth sequence.

Well, it’s a very hard task when he keeps going after the person who is pouring lava, despite the fact that he isn’t even hitting him… It shouldn’t be this hard on lv 3.

We had a party of 2 guardians and 3 fighters all built around vitality/heal and it was impossible for us to beat the final boss of dredge fractal (lv 3). We kept pouring lava on him, but he just kept pretty much insta-healing whatever damage we managed to do to him. We tried to interrupt to no avail… Lowest we got him was about at 75 % health, we decided to quit after going nowhere for half hour.

So is there any way around it? Or if you don’t have any dps you may as well quit as soon as you get this fractal?

Completely agree with OP, GW2 is imo hands down the best MMO and arguably the best game ever made. You can’t go back to old MMO’s after this.

While I too find this annoying it took only about 15 minutes for me to find the group, however the whole ending was very anticlimactic, also I didn’t like how I couldn’t see my character during the cut scenes + I had to fight mouth of Zhaitan again for some reason, despite me beating it just few quests before.

I also can’t change my password, when I write new password it just logs me out and password remains the same.
