Wow Anet.. Just Wow… Watched the livestream, digging the updates and stuff, but wtf. I saw that the legendaries are STILL soulbound? Players have been “complaining” about this since release! You don’t even talk about it, dont even tell us your ideas, your just ignoring us.

Why are they soulbound and not account bound? I dont understand why keep ignore the players when it comes to this subject?

Yea.. I will NEVER transmute my legendary. I wont take the risk. Even though some people say “It wont kitten it up bla bla!” and so on, i dont care… We don’t know 100% for sure, so it is a risk there

What annoys me… Is that Anet wont talk about it. i have tried sending PM’s asking for a simple answer WHY it is soulbound to start with, and this has been discussed on the forums for a long time. Never ever seens an answer from Anet.

I simply reply on this topic would be so much appreciated. Every patch i have small hope they might have changed it, should i stop hoping?

Don’t get me wrong, its awesome that you’re not full black. But… Your skin is dark and armour is white, it doesnt match to well. Also, White armour with a blue dagger and pink offhand doesnt match either. And full white is not creative. try mixing in other colours, and get weapons that match the armor!

I think they should be account-bound period.

Takes a casual player about 7 months to a year to make one (or, you don’t play the TP, you dont hardcore farm and you play a hour or 2 a day), so any arguments about how it would be unfair since lower tiered weapons aren’t account bound goes out of the window.

Why would a legendary weapon show up on the TP? Would you one day go to your local bazaar and then bam! Excalibur’s on sale at one of the stands?

Heck, just make a gemstore item which costs 100 gems and turns a Soulbound legendary or ascended weapon account bound. Anet gets their profit, players gets less frustration. Win-win

yea.. I used 7 months on mine and i have it on my necro.. but i would like to use it on my thief aswell….

In PvP necro is apparently broken OP now, so i am 80% sure we will get nerfed to the ground and be unplayable in the next patch (3rd september)

So… I started a poll yesterday, about legendaries and if they should be account bound or soubound. The result was as expected.

As i write this, around 400 people have voted, and i know its not alot, but the answer is so clear i think most people share the same thoughts.

I am talking about the armour etc. We all know ascended armour WILL come. Full ascended gear and ascended weapons will make it alot easier than it is with exotic… I mean, most dungeons are very easy even with rares

So… We all know how easy dungeons are right now. We can run dungeons in like 20 minuteswithout getting downed. What will happend to dungeon when ascended gear comes out? The dungeons will become even easier.

They cant simply buff the dungeons, since upscaled players or people with exotics will have a hard time…

it will be to easy with ascended gear. This is something im pretty concerned about, since i do alot of dungeons and i think they are to easy now actually…

I don’t know about that staff, but Final rest had the same bug, but it got fixed. Therefor i believe it is fixed with this one aswell, but not sure

My issue is that I cannot bring myself to play any alts because my main has Sunrise. I feel like time spent playing other characters is wasting the effort I put into it. I would like to play with Sunrise on my other characters. I have 2 other 80s and they can both use it. (Guard/Mesmer).

Currently you can swap legendaries between characters by transmuting them with a white item to make them account bound and re-transmuting them with the desired stats, but there might be some issue with this after the patch given the new ability to change stats legendaries are going to get.

Exactly… thats the problem. And the thing is.. Anet KNOWS that alot people do transmute their legendary (Well, i assume they do, since everyone keep saying they do so) so i dont see why they just make them account bound?

they fixed that last patch. Go into settings are desable the LOD effect setting. Its enabled by default. This prevents effects culling It fixed my incinerator atleast

Removing the sigil and adding an infusion slot would be a serious nerf.

Ok, so now that MMORPG.com has released info about the next patch i saw something interessting…

“Legendary Weapon Updates: Legendary weapons will receive a stat boost, an Offensive Infusion slot to align with new Ascended weapons and additional functionality, among other things.”

This made me really excited. We have all seen the new meteorlogicus in the screenshots, and we all know that… But…

It say they will use offensive infusion slots…? This is a NERF towards legendaries if this is true. Most people run sigils on their weapons. Like on kill sigils or on crit sigil. Like me. I have a Superior sigil of earth on my dagger for a condition build (60% to add a bleed stack on crit) which is important for my build to work. But with infusions i CAN’T HAVE SIGILS.

And all the people with bloodlust sigils etc.? What happend to those? This is a problem…

Also, the recipe requires a sigil. you need a sigil to make legendary weapons, will this get changed…?

And the last part got me thinking.. .“Other functions and things”… Is this the thing many people have been waiting for? Legendary account bound? Can i finally use my incinerator on my necro AND thief?

I REALLY hope they will make legendary account bound with this patch.. I doubt it, but it would be very nice…

This matchup is so unfair for us at RoF But atleast we try… IMO, we arent doing THAT bad, having in mind we are like 5-6 ranks lower than you guys

7/10! Its unique and not something i see everyday (+ for that!) It looks like its one whole set (not to much mixing) and with some grey-ish colours which is pretty mainstream (nothing wrong, im just not a huge fan of that) Overall i think it looks good!

On topic: You’re a 9/10 IMO! Looks very good. Its not the classic norn T3 or Karma set, its unique and he looks kitten! One minus is the colours. Its all in the same colour (some black/grey-ish) which isnt really creative, but overall it looks amazing!

Im just updating here with my condition set! Just finished it. (I am thinking about replacing the legs, not sure yet)

Tbh… You shouldnt come here for advice. The forum is always filled with people that don’t like the game.

But on topic. Not much has changed, since most of the content has been temporary. But there alot SMALL changes! You should go to reddit or maybe find a guild ingame that can help you out. i just know this forum is not the best place

1. Its not hundreds of peoples. Only 75 people at the map at the same time, before it start making overflows.

2. Use a shortbow.

Ok, so… 2 days ago i started noticing some strange lag with my ingame cursor.

problem 1. Whenever i move my cursor over to my second screen, the ingame cursor does not dissapear and remains in the game. Its not really an issue, but worth pointing out since it didnt happen before

2. Whenever i hold right click to move the camera, the cursor DOES NOT dissapear as it should be. Not really an issue, but quite annoying, since i like holding right click just to remove the cursor.

3. Whenever i get alot people around me, like in LA or WvW zergs my cursors starts lagging very bad. Even if my framerate is 30+ the cursor gets slow and starts lagging.

I have no idea whats causing this, but i know its gamebreaking for me, because all i do is WvW. But thats impossible with this slow and lagging cursor.

I installed a new graphic driver a few days ago, can that be my problem? I have tried installing a new one after the problem occured, because i thought that might be the problem, but no… It still works like that

It would still sell for around 1k gold (Cost around 900 gold to make) and the listing fee would be alot. It would barely be any profit, and for the 1m karma and probably 400 SP its not worth it…

Show him the dragons (No, not the fight themselves since they are horrible, just show him when they arrive and WP away)

Show him the legendary weapons or other mystic forge weapons. He will realize that there are awesome gear in the game and hewill be like “OHH!! I need that sword” Then you will tell me him it will take him more than 2 days, so he will have to buy the game to get it.

Show him all the dunegons and how many paths its in each dungeon. Its around 40 paths in total

Next up. The Champion Risen Giant. No, not the one at Arah, the one just pacing back and forth a ways west of the village of Ewan. Basically the same as the Veteran variant, only more HP, more grubs, and more annoying to fight.

This one is not unfought.. This is one of the champs in the popular farm train. I kill it like… every 2 minutes

I have found it VERY efficient to grab a flamethrower and grenades and go to the crown pavilion. Join the zerg and level up super quick!

You do realize some legendaries require 500 arah tokens aswell as some people (many actually) BUY arah spots? When its at the las tboss, so they dont really do arah.

Its always the mainhand footprints that wil show, and the offhand footprints will not show. So your bolt will have footprints, but not rodgort
