Mounts are not needed GW1 ran for years with huge follwings. And after all these years im glad they stuck to their guns and kept mounts out of game. Go tell your friends to play wow, lotor or another boring run of the mill mmo and leave us non mounter’s to play GW in peace.

Wolfey where to start. Well firstly you need to really work on your attitude and stop trolling, secondly i have not stated anywhere in my post that “you” or “anyone” else should not have this option. I suggested that the secondary slot is to be freed to allow for introduction of armour this does not stop you running round in your frilly clothes Wolfey! But give us other players the option to place a secondary armour set into use which is not being used by LOADS of people (2%) due to this not being interesting.

So “To Recap”

1.) Wolfey you need to work on communication and read posts correctly
2.) Its not a ton of work on Anet. Refunds are not even needed to be concidered in this post. Any gem purchase for clothing is still worked into cosmetic town or armour slots.
3.)Your off topic and wrong as no refunds would need to take place.

And please dont bother posting (trolling) on people posts if you dont have a valid point as your just wasting time of mine and others with your bad attitude that you really need to sort out.

I like this post and its valid so please ignore post from people that want to TROLL and cause arguments!

Awful transmutation (idea for improvement)

Keep transmutation stones in game, either use them for cosmetic armour opening slot on your cosmetic panels 1 slot = 1 stone. Also the stones are still used as they are now as i do also like this system of stat and look altering.

No wouldnt want to see any automatic clothing change not really the type to run around in some frilly shirt which town clothing looks like now, lol. Just allow the secondary tab to be free for anything that give people that want town clothing to still use maybe being incorporated into crafting as you say but also allows the player that wants another armor set to use the secondary for that instead.

Hi,

It’s been bugging me over the last week now that ive started to really customise my character so much more that we are really limited to one apperance on our charatcer, this is apart from the Town Clothing option that i can say i’ve not used since day one of release. I feel this is a waste of space and to my knowledge from looking around ive probably seen 2% of the population in game using this device.

Why not drop this and just give us a seconday open slot system that we can change with maybe our secondary fav armour set. this can be obviously cosmetic as your wearable armour you have on overides the armour in your secondary panel.

I think many more people would then start using this feature and not let it go to waste.

Oh and another thing please drop the gold amount on tier 3 race armour as its totally crazy asking us to pay out 20 gold for a rare part of armour with worse stats than exotic you can get off the TP. I know most will transmute the stats anyway so this mean you want us to pay 20 gold for one bit of armour skin. That’s a lot of coin for little return.

Also more of an idea but how about giving us a map cooldown to a major town. maybe 4hrs cooldown or something, happy to work to obtain this but i think a good few people like to try save their silver coins and feel gutted shedding out 3+ silver on those big jumps when perhaps they can save a few coin now and again using a map system.

Hope these ideas reach out to more people and get noticed to benifit us all in the world of GW2.

Takes the **** really though having to see Arb and Aug players running past each other not fighting just taking on desolation players, personally thats a load of B*****ks. Its a WvWvW not W+WvW.

I love to battle hard and fight against the best but when there is obviously a problem with balancing here something needs to be done. Move either a server to another or start working on something to sort this balancing out.

Simple suggestion and not bothered reading though pages of topics so if this is already been said fair enough just support it if you think its a good idea.

We need different and simple sound based message pings in game. We have one for 1 to 1. But when it comes to guild chat, party chat etc its all quiet and so many times ive missed convos and events due to not seeing the chat fly past. Yes you can create tabs just for guild and keep an eye out but you lose the whole world chat also.

Simple solution give each tab chat a different “ping” sound so we can assosiate the tabs to the sounds and give us the ability to turn these on and off in tabs so that people that dont want to hear them can switch off but people like myself that get to involved in game that misses the text gets the assosiated ping that gets you to refer to the chat to see whats happening.

Lol, “Dead Parrot” you made me laugh. I to am a vet player dating back to the days playing commandos and spec-operations your talking a long time. But since then technology has improved and so has gaming. Point and click is dead, it has no use in most of todays games and the majority dont wish for this to be implemented as if it was it would be in game now. I myslef have adapted and all i can say is you got to get a wrist strap if your hurting and get on the tech train to todays gaming world

If they were able to ad an option to turn on this system in game fine, but i doubt they will look into anything like this anytime soon, think they still have bigger fish to fry!

Allow Thieves to use a new introduced weapon such as “crossbow” (thieves only) this has 1200 range say with least 3 skill set on 1200 base and 2 depending off based set as what we play now. Adapt the skills so that if a thief decides they what ranged over shortbow system we have now they have a balanced skill set that allows them to achieve the same dmg output as the shortbow but with these skills they have no get out clause such as the shortbow allowing the thief to then be more ineffective at stealthed based attacks/getaways but more effective at ranged. Thats my thought’s anyway

Hey, read the posts and i must say since taking my points and reposting 25 in condition running 30 on crit and 15 in trickery ive been so much more effetive than pooling into acrobatics and shadow arts that i had before to support the in and out high crit thief. I got the build off a guy on a forum cant remember what but his base was the same as the guys saying about condition dmg here. Go in hit the with a good crit to start do x2 LDB’s back out and let them bleed down. Once your cycled on skills get back in there finish them off with heartseeker or if you need LDB’s again and back outs. This has worked for me in WvWvW / sPvP / and in PvE. Oh and shortbow in sPvP is awesome with good condition. just using Suprise shot to cripple then choking gas to condition them with poisons skills added to the mix when possible and using disabling shot to keep your distance. Takes them down so quick. But remember whatever build your still going to be a squishy no matter what. So try to make sure that you build a thief that can hit hard place bleeds but never stand still, this isnt like other mmo’s you have to be really clever thats why we are “thieves” GL to you all you fellow thieves in game

I received a response today for a ticket I submitted 15 days ago about my Engineer’s Multi-Tool Pack that reads, “… unable to replace individual items in the manner that you are describing. We simply do not have the tools to provide this service at this time.”

In my opinion, If Collector’s Edition Bonus items can be restored then other items should be able to be restored as well.

I agree with Cyrus and melkathi about a merchant to sell or give the character story item back. It would also lessen the burden of people buggering the support team about this ! A good placed to put said merchant would be in the characters’ “Home” instance in their starting city. I also agree that the item can only be re-purchased by the character that has made that story choice in character creation.

Ive been deadly careful knowing the prob i might have if i was to vendor my item, i double check every time i transmutate it. Although i would be alot happier knowing if was to ******* it up and lose my starter item there is a vendor to replace it for me. But definitly the one i chose and that only as that is the part of the story line.

Make sure all profs can move at same speed.....

Thats part of what prof you choose in the first place. As i play thief thats my main objective to run in run out hit hard and dont get caught. LOL so now in your world im unable to break distance from chasers. Rubbish bring on better threads this ones had a grilling and is done! “Medium Rare”

Yes was hoping these were going to be unique but alas doe not seem to be. Would give Anet a hand to themselves if they did as more unique armor = more storage = dam i need to buy more spaces = more gems to buy \0/

Yeah can be a back slot item with show/hide function oh and whilst we are on about back slots get cloaks/backpacks and other back slot items in game also, cant believe their not in game already. we want to show our guild emblem off

Please add them in the future. Even if they aren’t completely “necessary” with waypoints scattered across the map, they serve as cosmetic/aesthetic collectibles for achievement-oriented players and it would add so much to the visual experience of leveling/exploring zones to be able to stroll around on a well-designed ground mount.

No no no…..we dont need them in this mmo thanks, enjoy the running it keeps you fit

In general the mobs need dumbing down or we need toughening up its very unbalanced at the mo. Hopefully this is going to be addressed

The only difference from how I am playing GW2 right now without any mods is:

  • I don’t have to hold right click all the time
  • The mouse changes to the middle position of the screen while rightclicking, so I don’t have to move it manually to that position before I start a fight. And I know where I will put AOE abilities on the ground even while I am using right click to move.
  • My Aoe Abilities are always casted at the crosshair position
  • fast targeted ground targeting on button release: While I hold the button I see the circle indicator. When I release the button, the spell goes off.

These are only some things, which would improve the combat significantly. I hope they will get addressed, because other competitive games like league of legends already have these features. (e.g. smart cast on button release is a hidden option and everybody plays with it)

Just as simple as the Topic title says. You can even go as far as doing race changes for a certain amount of gems.

That way, Anet makes money while I can finally fix how my character looks. It’s a win win situation.

Yes simple easy and benefits Anet with gems being spent in this area by many people most prob. I could do with a new hair cut. My thief needs a new style

Nice idea but “lots” of attention needed elsewhere with game and combat i think. Once these are balanced and corrected yes more open building etc maybe even if its introduced in further add-ons which will come.

Please dev’s there are probably numerous calls/posts to sort this by lots of players and although i could scout the forums for previous posts i’d like to state my own.

The health system is still way underpowered and for all classes in this game. I/We are finding that the hit and dmg ratio on giving and recieving dmg if very unbalanced. I’ve levelled a thief to 80 and enjoyed the experiance although so many times through the gameplay ive found myself running or backing out of which was a “SIMPLE” fight. If i didnt have an ambush build thief in PVE play i’d be dead within secs of starting a fight. Now i know things shouldnt be easy and i dont want that but the dmg taken from mare whimp based mobs are stupid to state a fact getting hit per stike of around 300/1400 hit points some in linked skill succession and being only 13k health having a mob attacking you then getting damaged by a pair between 600/2800 hit points per stike by a pair. within a few stikes which is fast due to fast combat you can be dead between 5/10 secs. Now when fighting in level 30/40 areas my thief seems balanced being overall lvl 80 but soon as you start getting to those higher level areas close to your own stated level it becomes ridiculous to have any balanced mob based fight.

Solution: Well, all i can think is make us tougher in armour/health give us a better parry/evade ratio or to lower the dmg output of the mobs in game. I cant see combat being really fun till this issue is looked into. We just need more “balance”

4.5k? try 10k+ or 17k+ pistolwhips 10k unloads, 10k clusterbombs

Is this for PvE or PvP? (is there any difference?) Cause I haven’t gone into PvP yet. I still have a long way to go :/

Either, more if they have no toughness, less if they do. but on average most my shots are 8-10k of the ones i specified, and auto attacks are 2-4k

Build and proof please as i’d like to see this high crit in action as your stating?
