CD and DB are pretty tight together to see who remains in tier 3 next week.
I think [RET] is very likely going to be in DB BL today assuming queues don’t suck. Not because we hate you… in fact, we love you. Fighting you guys is way more fun.
That doesn’t make much sense then seeing how this week is pretty much over. If you attack us now you give CD a chance to stay in tier 3 and be boring for a whole nother week. Meanwhile fighting CD for the next day and a half and leaving DB alone for the most part assures a fun week between Maguuma FA and DB next week. Just saying

Maybe there is a bug because there are plenty of times when people stack up near a door where a catapult is hitting behind it trying to knock people off rams to only see a few people fly backwards and get interrupted and sometimes it’s not the people on the ram. Not likely I don’t have any stability on my Mesmer and I have stacked and not get hit by cats when stacking against door and yes no one gave it to me either.

Also with Arrowcarts if it’s hitting more then 5 players aren’t seeing it. We see only handful of damage numbers on a few targets even when they are in big turtle balls.
Keep laughing it up. Soon enough we will get the oceanic presence we need and we will climb back up.
From where? Let’s be perfectly honest here. Oceanic guilds don’t transfer often if at all due to language barrier and them not wanting to play by themselves in their respective timezones. We watch countless recruitment threads on these forums asking for Oceanic guilds to join heavy NA servers but only rarely do you see these actually work. The best way to get an Oceanic presence is to just join a server with a strong one already. Until then your going wake up to flipped keeps and dominated maps.
Not saying this as a slight at all, but if DB moves up their off peak crew is going to have to pick it up when they meet servers that match their coverage. When our weekend warriors have stayed up late to even approach their numbers, we have led the points and income up through about 4 AM still vastly outnumbered both Fri/Sat, at which point most sane folks finally turn in, and they start painting it green.
It’s not that they aren’t doing well, it’s that the real force they have doesn’t start until like 7AM Eastern. I think around 3-6 AM Eastern if I got everything from them correctly it’s Dinner/Family time for them. They are also a day ahead so it’s heading into Monday for them shortly already in a few hours. The Asian guilds on our server are very good at what they do maybe better at a lot of things then I have seen many servers/guilds try. I wish they mesmer swept a bit more but that’s trivial as they are just going to steamroll over a wooden tower/keep.
What your facing at 12AM-4/5 AM Eastern are those that haven’t gone to sleep yet from the NA time zone. Same as you guys.
I didn’t mean to spot your 6 Alpha 1 Omega golem rush. I didn’t meant to destroy it before it got to the door. Well ok I did meant to destroy it but still. I stopped commanding in your borderlands and the zerg there has no commander and they are taking your stuff.

Just watched a group from [WE] on Dragonbrand hack into redlake on their borderlands. I know that not even my own server is squeaky clean, but it still sucks to watch people hack that openly.
XD Oh man please learn to mesmer sweep. I was legit hidden in Redlake in almost plain site, I watched you build the arrow cart and when the buff when out on the lord I portaled everyone back in. Don’t accuse anyone of hacking please.
Looks like our Taiwanese guilds are going to be holding us in the fight. We had a few NA guilds transfer in these past couple weeks but they seem to have brought a few bad habits from their previous servers. If they work out their kinks we should be sticking around this tier for a while
First of all don’t throw new people under the bus in your server, it’s not cool. Second don’t know what your talking about. WE, Duel, a few of my guys and a few others(EA and WaR peeps while waiting for ques on other maps) had our fair share of Yak’s Bend BL(east side of map) last night from reset and then eventually pushed to take southwest tower and eventually took west keep when we had more reinforcements(from NNK and the other big night time guilds). In fact we had our southeast supply and never lost the kitten thing for almost 10 hours until we were to busy in west keep to pay attention to Ebay sneaking it. Yes we held a supply camp that fed the East Keep and Tower from reset to 4AM eastern.
NA primetime will never be a steamroll karma train against servers with great NA primetime coverage. It’s about taking what you can then defending and holding the line of our fair share until the night crew can can come in and help us. Then it’s about not letting the other servers have it all back when their coverage starts again so the lead can be built up.
I know I am new to DB but I don’t appreciate comments like this.
in a day off just kill enmeies I made 7 and that was over 4 hours playing. It would take 71 day’s to get 500. I’d love to know how you get it in 2-3 weeks with out dungeons.
Do more damage and don’t roam by yourself. Don’t attempt to stomp enemies that are down when your zerg is overrunning them just auto attack down players and you’ll do enough damage to warrant badges. Taking supply camps and towers and killing the guild claimers nets you 1-2 badges each time. So grab 2-3 friends and cap supply camps on maps. Your helping your server and you’ll get more badges then you know what to do with.
The fastest way I know of to get them is the dungeons in WvWvW with enmeies at the main puzzle it will take months to make 500 of them off just players.
Months? Try more like maybe 2 or 3 weeks at most if you actually help your server out.
I definitely don’t picture either server to drop to the bottom. At all. They are REALLY putting up a good fight. May I remind everyone that most of the points that we currently have (nearly 100ish k) were earned BEFORE the transfers? If anything, I think that the guilds that left have raised the other servers’ fighting spirit moreso than before. I am impressed with how much they are stepping it up and packing a serious punch while they do.
I loved DH as a server, however no one wanted to get together to do wvw. Our server tried setting up many alliances, Website, Public Voice coms etc. But still no guilds came to use them, 90% of all the current guilds wvwing for 1-6 hours a day on DH are PVE orientated as previously they hardly ever dedicated a true wvw force on a daily basis.
Darkhaven is a Tier 7 server, The wvw glicko system will drop slowly due to its design (DH will be Dropping a tier next week) but this is where DH is with its size in numbers considering they can only hold/defend one map currently as a server.
I really do hope DH can pull their kitten together and actually work together, however our guild [WE] tried and tried to help that move along to no success.

In Closing, You’re gone, DH will survive, we’ll retake a couple of towers in the morning after the DB zerg takes total control of the map, a few guys from DB will say ‘awesome fight taking back those couple of towers DB (or BP)’, we’ll repeat that process until Reset, and we’ll begin again, fighting like DH ALWAYS has done, in spite of this crap you keep spewing about how bad they are.
DH fought back after Coa, after GoF and yes, we’ll even survive You Gods Of WVW known as WE.
TLDR: Get over yourselves, wvw isn’t that hard.
If you really didn’t care you would have stopped responding to everything about this already but it seems to be bothering you and the one person in DB map chat trolling everyone most of all. It’s a game, people come and people go. It happens in just about every game ever, so just let it go. We are all trying to be nice about this but your hostility is just misplaced. A lot of people in DH and those that left DH are having fun fighting each other. Every time I get killed or kill someone I know or vice versa we have been laughing about it in whispers and with misplaced siege equipment. It’s a game in the end, enjoy it.
That’s all I got to say on this subject. For those I have been fighting in DH BL lately I am having a blast and I would suspect you guys are as well when your fighting us. I graffitied your keep with my rams and even got up there to almost build it before it was destroyed.

After the debacle in DH BL I have been debating switching as well even though it hurts me to say that. I got people in our Guild that don’t play WvW often that even realized last night the fight in DH is pretty much over.
Not once, not twice but three times within 4 hours we had bad Commanders down south in towers(as Cal pointed out) while the Garrison was being flipped or under heavy attack. I asked and PMed them to move their buts back north to help me and WE defend the garrison and north towers. I didn’t get one PM or even chat message on Map/Team on what they were doing in a tower down south against DB when it was BP that was hitting our garrison. This has been a reoccurring theme for the last few weeks. They don’t care about the priority of proprieties on maps they just want the reward for taking something. I don’t want to blame Seal the Deal because he was awesome guy but he did put bad habits into the pugs in DH. All they know how to do is get the easy karma. If your not watching the map 90% of the time as a commander your not helping to the goal of winning.
With that being said I am inviting people to join us in the switch with WE. It doesn’t matter where you play just that your playing with people who are like minded and want to be their with you. Playing WvW with players that only join for the badges and karma is aggravating. I am tried of playing with PvE people just playing WvW because they want something other then to PvP or win. Who cares where your “digital” home is just that you continue to play together. I also extend this to those who left before us if they read this. Come back lets play together it doesn’t matter where it is. Home is where your friends are not where it’s located. Trust me I just experienced this in real life when my home was mostly destroyed in hurricane Sandy.
I’ll be in DH for the next day or two finding the cool pugies that I love and get them to join me, EXE, or WE and stay together.
BP can’t let DBs win over you hold you down like it did to Darkhaven or you’ll slide right back down with us to the lower tiers. Its hard to see how you guys never got your own garrison back already.

Had the keep for a good hour or more and it had full supply as you can see in the picture. It was ours for some time and it’s the same keep that they tried to exploit before. It was not a portal in. If it was I would have noticed it way sooner then that.

On a side note I will be holding WvW class at 11PM-12AM eastern time on the DH Bl. Going to sit down and teach the basics of WvW(siege placement, simple tactics, how to defend, how to get past towers that are being attacked, etc) to everyone in Darkhaven one person at time if I must. I am going to do this a lot in the next few weeks except this week since I am going on vacation for a week to Mexico on Saturday. I will be back though I promise.
I am sad that GoF left and no one told me, couldn’t even talk them out of it And to leave for CD is even more disappointing. Really sad for Darkhaven. Oh well tier 8 here we come. Shame we came from no where to rise up only to drop back down. Free server transfers need to end. Killed this server.
C’mon DH! Whats wrong with all you commanders?! we’ll get a nice zerg going on (with golems everywhere) about to sweep the place, and then you spawn to a random waypoint? If you dont know how to lead then dont be a commander! and a little communication please! your making DH suffer. Its been like this a few nights in a row. this is getting bad.

Thanks bro although I am not a tactician genius lol. I just pay attention to the map a.lot and predict a lot of what I would do in the enemies position.

I had fun tonight. Lots of it. Awesome fights everywhere. That supply camp battle after we just defend bay keep in our BL was pretty awesome.
Darkhaven will not bend over for anyone this week despite our struggling numbers. The graveyard shift will fight tooth and nail until our armors break and we can’t afford to repair them And I’ll sing Christmas carols while doing it.
Alright we got it BP your off to a fast start. Some of us just got home. Also the spawn camping will stop when people can actually get the update downloaded.

The mud slinging on all sides is strong in this topic. Can’t we all just get along? I ran dungeons all day today and didn’t get to play much WvW until the last 2 hours but I even ran dungeons with guys from NSPs and DB today. If we can PvE together why can’t we play nice in WvW as well. Just saying.
Then Asura get Krewes where we build superior siege without the use of a mystic forge and using two blueprints. Then we have a deal.
Edit: The more I think about this it would be pretty boss if race selection effected WvW in this sort of way. Probably be way unbalanced but it would be cool. Use the previous two for Charr and Asura while Humans build better walls since they seem so good at it, Norn can do something with the NPC groups and making them better, and Sylvari can go grow things.

Love to see some shielding pure defensive siege. Maybe an Asura mini golem that can activate bubble shields as needed. It would need to be balanced but it would be cool to see to increase defense.
Had fun tonight in EB lots of great battles and my final battle at Aldons was a blast. I got a portal bomb off twice to get rid of trebs and even though we took them out it wasn’t enough to stop DB. Great fights but I do need to bring up one issue.
Not going to point fingers because I couldn’t tell you who did this stuff and not going to chastise an entire server for what probably was a single person or group of people but this stuff needs to stop.
There was another two rams next to each other that I didn’t get a chance to takes picture of and a low level elementalist that would not stop moving in a bot like fashion from SM’s supply depot to the broken wall to repair it no matter how much I and everyone else asked her to stop in whispers and in normal chat. Lots of people wasting supply on Darkhaven on purpose and I don’t like it.
Good fight at SM tonight if we would have held on a few more minutes we would have had walls repaired and held you out another hour or so but DB pushed at the right time. Oh well there is always tomorrow night.
That fight at Quentin Lake was pretty awesome tonight. I got the whole zerg into QL right as NSP flipped it and we had an awesome in door brawl. Very fun even though we lost. Love to see stuff like that happen must of had 50 something people in one tiny tower.
Awesome battle for SM control tonight. DH held as long as we could thanks in large part to the superior siege from Littlefeather and others but DB overwhelmed us and took it back after like a 3-4 hour fight. Was fun playing back on my PC and as a commander for the first time. No more laggy WvW for me.
Wow amazing battle at DH Keep in EB tonight. Both NSP and DB knocking on both doors and we managed to hold for 2 hours and eventually push out. Really great defending by everyone there. It seemed like a big mash up of random pugs just trying their hardest.
I wish I was still there but a man needs to sleep.
100% agreed. This week is what WvW should be about. All 3 servers are within striking distance of the lead and we have seen multiple lead switches. No one is fighting on this topic and I think all three servers are enjoying the challenge. Lots of fun hopefully it stays this way next week.
XD at my ninja portal at Bluelake to get it back on DB borderlands a few minutes ago. Lost it a few moments later but we managed to hold it for the point tick which is all that matters. Good fun. Remember people mesmer sweeps are super important some of us are really sneaky.
1. We lost two guilds right now and are lacking experienced commanders.
2. Those commanders and leaders that are still here are either really good like the guys from GoF, RE and WE while others(mostly the new ones) are really terrible. Some of the midday commanders don’t know how to defend and only two days ago I saw one of them(no names I am a nice guy) trade a semi-upgraded EH for DB on our borderlands. I gave a fair warning and tried to defend with what I had but it was to no avail. We swapped keeps and then in 10 minutes DB was taken back and we had neither. Most WvW players know that the Hills are easier to defend and hold then the Bay keeps and there is no reason to trade them. It was a very bad decision.
3. I know some people in this topic don’t like him but Seal is the best commander at getting the PUGs to play and listen in WvW. Sometimes being charismatic and leading is the best in WvW. His absence(due to work) lately is noticeable.
I think we’ll be dropping back down for a while. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is. We’ll climb back though.
