Why would/Should anyone that didn’t do the event get access to the chest? I’m so flabbergasted by this idea. I didn’t get to do the event but this idea of yours makes no sense. Might as well give everyone all the gear they need at level 80 in a chest as a prize for making it to 80 too amirite?

Because I and tons of others got the Phase 1 items at our leisure when they were finally not bugged. Explored the island at our leisure and the only reward any of us got because we weren’t on at a specific time is a jug of karma a Daily reward. It really isn’t fair. I will gladly fight the boss and do the work at my leisure as well if they let us.

I had no problem doing any of the Halloween stuff because I could do it when I could and not when it was convenient for Anet.

This is the best solution. Those that have things to do and missed it(along with the other two events) don’t really care about doing the event and only care about the chest. Leave the chest for everyone for12-24 hours.

Why don’t you guys just delay the lost shores events till next weekend and get the thing working correctly. Give everyone another shot at doing things in order.

It’s not a big deal that we need to wait but it’s kinda lame that we can’t play it as intended.

If your buying things to toss into forge to get commendations then yeah it’s a huge waste. However if you just got back from farming and don’t need to break down or sell blues/greens then you can get some nice items by junking them in the donation boxs. In otherwords the commendations are a good alternative to salvaging/selling junk items.

WvW is officially the red headed step child of GW2. It will take forever to be fixed at this rate and it will never get the attention it deserves. It’s a shame because it easily is the best mode when it’s working right and you don’t feel like your losing thanks to game/balance issues.

I had fun today despite my this crappy laptop basically overheating and causing me to lag horribly. God I miss being useful in WvW.

I am finally able to play a bit after losing my house and a lot of my stuff thanks to Hurricane Sandy and I don’t even want to play because this match is a wash. Anet needs to look at match scores like last week and keep those servers together instead of following their little spreadsheet and adjusting servers by it.

Anyway shout out t my homies in Darkhaven I’ll finally see you guys on the battlefield again although I will be playing on my alt character “SkaP” this week.

I was able to play a little WvW today on my laptop that barely plays the game. Super laggy but still fun. Ever since Sandy did a number on my house I haven’t been able to get a stable net connection at the places I am staying to play but I managed tonight. It was fun and I miss WvW. Hope you guys have a awesome fight the rest of the week hopefully I can play one more time or maybe sometime next week.

The video was supposed to be pointless. Are we all so wrapped up in going at each others servers that we can’t stop to laugh at the fact that 10+ people sat in a bush together for 10 minutes watching a door. Sorry if I didn’t record from the start. We all need to step back and stop hating on each other. We are stuck with each other for the next 5 days so lets try to enjoy each others company.

Yes we sat in that bush the entire time the door was being hit by only two rams. No one showed up and it worked somehow. Why we did it I’ll never know but this is what Darkhaven is all about having fun and being random.

That is fallacious because you assume that the definition of our tactics as exploitation is factual. But nice try.

The portal hopping is fine it’s intended game mechanic but staying in one spot to avoid AOE and abusing the rendering is an abuse of game mechanics. I don’t see Northern Shiverpeaks doing this I don’t see DarkHaven doing this. In fact this is the first server I have seen doing it. Just because other servers before us were abusing it against you doesn’t mean they were any more right in abusing it then you are now. But stay classy and say whatever you want to help you sleep at night.

Every server in T1-T4 portal bombs and stacks . If you ever move up, you will see this in every single match. It’s not an exploit in any way shape or form. Every other server we’ve fought knows how to counter it (Mag does as well), too bad DH hasn’t figured it out yet… It’s not even hard.

You low tier servers are always a laugh.

Just because someone else was using it doesn’t mean they aren’t abusing the system. By your logic just because one person cheats it’s ok for everyone to cheat. This is the problem with every online video game ever. This mentality is wrong and until it’s changed online games will always be filled with people trying to cheat the system.

BTW this “low tier server” is stomping you right now.

Stacking players on the same spot to make use of the area of effect target limit is abusing game mechanics and exploiting? Using portals to move people around is also abusing game mechanics? omg this is serious abuse and here i thought mesmer portals were supposed to only be used for cosmetic purposes, to look all shiny on the ground.

Multiple body stacking to avoid AOE and their are about 20 people in that one spot. Abuse of game mechanics. Keep it up Maguuma your just making yourselves look bad.

This was a fun clean battle till about 3 hours ago when the orb was hacked and then EBay brings it back to their garrison. Your only condoning their actions by taking the orb back to your garrison. Cheaters are going to keep doing it when servers just go along with it.
