Whats the score at the moment?

I agree Project Blacktide is still a work in progress. We have some new blood moving over but we still need a US guild or two and possibly an EU.

On the Brightside the attitude in WvW is good and the cordination strong.

If we can continue we may battle upwards by sheer hard work.

In the last few weeks i have been in a lot of match ups, of those teh servers that impressed were Elona, FSP and Desolation. may tough fights and lots of fun

Interestingly the opponents that that were good didnt bother to troll forums, some of the servers on a downward spiral were however full of trolls. Those servers continue on their way down too.

Many predicted our demise in this bracket, I was quietly confident,

However Desolation has quues and transfering there would increase those. That is the strength of Blacktide. between 6pm and 11pm gmt it is easy to get into a battleground on Blactide.

You also make the distiction between the pvpers and the casual players. This echoes my earlier point. Your loyalty is not to the casual or indeed the server name it is to the players who put in the real effort. Those same people can be on another server.

If those people moved with FSP be the same server since it is the guilds that matter not the ‘server’ per say?

Please, just please, think a bit before posting a “solution for FSP”.

How does it solve any issues with FSP WvW attendance, coverage and PuG morale? Please tell me how this will somehow save FSP from the situation we are in?

It would be a solution for the players that cant stand losing until we regain control or get back on our feat. Outside of that all it would do would be to cripple FSP even more. If we move it wont be FSP, it will be “add random server name”.

let me explain, You havent loyalty to the piece of hardware your on or to the Software it runs. Any server loyalty you have is to those you play with In WvW.

As it is you have an issue, no night coverage. You either accept it or deal with it.

How do you deal with it, you recruit in cover or move to a place that provides that cover. If you move in the EU to a server that has cover for when your weak there is only one server that you not face a huge queue for battlegrounds(that has slots available at a time convenient to you). Blacktide.

Moving to a different shard on possibly the same physical server is not a real change if you bring those you play with across to. For all intents and putpose it would still be FSP.

That is why I was suggesting it as a solution to your problems.

The ideal would be if the EU primetime FSP guilds moved over to Blacktide, In that time period we have two empty maps that need the presence of guilds.

The moving guild would have the benifit of having the Russsian Push beore them to prepare they way, as it were.

Question for ThUn guild – about what happened at Sunday at FS border. When you took bay keep, I, sadly, wasn’t there at the time – I was holding, Elona who attacked our Garrison, so maybe you can help me. Was there a guild with RuNL tag with you? They are a bit of an old acquaintances from one game, and their leader says that they were there at the bridge inside the keep with about 10 ThUn, so maybe some of you can tell – how many of them were there?

Very enjoyable fights over the last few days. I would say that it is certainly a higher bracket than the last.
The general players standard is slightly higher as is the population density in WvW.
We had to change a few of our tactics which is always a sign that the opposition are bringing new challenges.

Had some very good nights with THUN, DKR, CIR,HRSY and INT pushing a zone. We tend to do ok in our zone but when we play the others zones have a low Blacktide population.

The night before we had a nice push in the same zone I believe.These are vidoes from CIR, DKR and THUN all of the same period of play I think. They show different perspectives on our time in the zone together.

Whats teh score at the moment are riverside fightng for 2nd or is it too late?

First full week of play after the transfer and we coasted to the next tier,
had some very good fights and we still ned to recuit to compete with the best but it has been a good start.

@sarcx as the game is the only way to compete is to creat a 24/7 server. thats what we are in the process of doing on Blacktide, We need a few more US guilds and a decent size EU guild.

It was painful to log in yesterday and see that BT had the unmanned buff on and we were only pulling a mere 150 pts per tick. The time frame during our “primetime” our guild never had more than 10 people on and our zerg was never more than 15. Seems everyone took the night off instead of working on tactics and communications as our guild did. We managed to hold our own against some overwhelming numbers quite a few times.

I went to the pub Cunnart, When I am a way the kittens( I typed kitten, its not the auto edit!) dont play.

No need for us to burn out or waste resources when we came top.

First rule of prime time is that I have to be there for it to count. I had an official post saying this but I lost the link, I will look for it.

At 10pm(11 UTC) Blacktide are back in the lead. Then I log of.

The problem is that you use UTC as base time, but a lot of mainland europe is currently UTC +2, you are playing with a 3 hours advantage.

You start the log at 18h, thats currently 15h in mainland europe (working hours), but really till 18h (20 UTC or your 21) you will not found sizble numbers on a lot of mainland servers and you stop giving records when the prime time starts.

You only put records of low time for Seafarer for example, from your 21h ahead is when a lot of people connect.

You put records to show that your own prime time have advantage over SF low time (and choose the day btw, but that is another thing), nice for you.

Next time i would ask you to choose a prime time for SF (like your own 22h ahead, till 4am that is 1am for SF) and choose one day like the monday or the thursday) or better, show the trend over several days in both prime times, not only in yours.

At 21h my times it is 22h in France, Germany and 23h in Croatia, Poland and Greece.

Why are Monday and Thursday OK and Tuesday and Wednesday not( I showed Tuesdays screen shots in a post above)?

A Number of people were claiming certain results for their server so last night I kept a record of results. We were in Riverside Borderland last night.

Most of these figures are when the scores update, so they are the actual numbers that affect the score.

I play in UTC -1(BST)
In a number of these time slots Riverisde were in the lead.( Well played to them)

The delta between the two teams is +445 to Blacktide in this period.

There is an interesting thread, the scores close as it gets later. Seafairer lead for a 1 hour period, then Blacktide make a comeback.

In the period where they go into the lead Seafarers lead contracts each Quarter from a peak of 40, then it collapses.

At 10pm(11 UTC) Blacktide are back in the lead. Then I log of.

For large periods of the night Riverside were on top and aggressively advancing.
Seafairers biggest Delta is +75 at 21:42, they lose 80 pints in the next 15 minutes
Between 20.57 and 21.58 the score fluctuated.
What conclusions can we draw.

That there is no evidence for Seafarers claims of Stomping.

I suspect its not the losing you guys hate , more that you been beaten so comprehensively that the match is over.

[23.10.2012] Current match-up: Riverside vs Blacktide vs Seafarer’s Rest

Second week day passed, as for us it was excellent. Preparing to next one of most epic match for us. With high probability we can say that next match would be versus Desolation and Far Shiverpeaks. From one point of view nothing special, just another step to 1st tier. At another point of view it would be extremely important match, in which find out which russians population server is the best. It can be said, this matchup would be battle between Blacktide and Far Shiverpeaks.

So, today we were best on matchup again. On afternoon we lost towers on Seaferer and Riverside borderlands, but after two hours all maps were blue again. In the evening we have 300-350+ points/15min, despite the fact that it wasn’t our base time.

I for one am not discounting Desolation, They were better last week against us than they where when I faced them on Gunnar’s.

I will wager they got better again this week.

Seafarers (who to be fair grossly overestimate their ability), were crushed in that tier. they had a terrible 110k points.

We will need to step up our game.

The real strengths of the oppostion are organisation and a tenacious attitude. this week we have face a number of hordes of disorganised rabble. Worse still they seemed to have quit already.

There are fewer quiters on next weeks servers. Idealy we need an influx from the us for the weekend.

Last night was good. All day SF were all talk on the forums. Yesterday I was on from 6pm until 10.30 local time in Seafairers. For the vast majority of the time we were leading. It got to the stage we would wipe one batch of Seafairers and they would leave the zone only for another group to arrive en mass. They would be dispatched in a similar fashion and leave only for yet another zerg to turn up. It was like cleaning up after an incontintent puppy.
