There should just be a party continue prompt like in fractals. Solved.
This is one of those things that stinks of lack of thought in SAB’s design.

I just went over 250 empyreal fragments today to my surprise without even trying. I have 4 toons parked at jumping puzzles, but I’ve gotten loads of fragments from following a zerg around WvW. I’ve played maybe 3 dungeon paths. And this is 4 days after the patch? The rate of aquisition is not too slow, and you can get them from many sources.
It’s very cheap as long as you had saved mats. From 425-450 I used a crafting booster and discovered all the superior sigils and crafted 6 exotic weapons. I only spent 32s on a silver doubloon. I’ve made roughly 25g from selling ascended mats. I’m at 460 now and in no rush.

Anet wanted to add capes from the start but they didn’t work well with Charr running animations. It’s not like it’s never occurred to them before.
Please make them ungreetable or move them away.
I know it’s trivial but it’s one of those things that’s been grating on my game design flaw radar since launch and affects every player except those filthy rich enough to have permanent express access.
It’s like if Walmart greeters were to step in front of you while you were browsing shelves to ask you how you liked the weather.

It should be time gated so there is some meaning to specializing in something, instead of rich player = master of all. Respec every season or every reset makes sense.
We need ascended bags with 21 slots! And legendary bags that have either 20/21 slots depending on the current maximum and can be switched between equipment/safe/craftings mats on the fly!

Quoted for truth. I’m hesitant to throw seemingly useless things away anymore with the way Anet keeps changing the value of past items.
Oh yes — Polla is such an obvious candidate for redemption for an exotic or ascended trinket yet it remains near useless.
I got the Positional Relay Beacon after bringing the 3 components to Vorpp, and now I can open the portal even without these things in my inventory and even on alts. Should be safe to delete all 4 items then right?
Functionality: Sigil of Bursting stats overlap with Sigil of Malice
It probably makes more sense for bursting to be a crit damage sigil.
Oh, that would make it worth the charged lodestone for some people.
So Sigil of Bursting has a stat that doesn’t fit its name and overlaps with Sigil of Malice... this is an obvious error that I thought Anet would slap whoopsie patch on within a few hours of release, but it hasn’t changed.
I hope it’s not something that Anet won’t fix for fear of screwing up people’s builds, I’m curious what stat it was supposed to have originally.

Sometimes the level requirement seems like an intentional joke really. Like Bowl of Clam Chowder is made at level 125 and it takes 75 more levels to put in a dill spring.
The ship is an integral part of the map, therefore if “the ship leaves”, the map must become inaccessible. I wish this was one of those permanent additions like Southsun too, though this is way more interesting than Southsun.
You waypoint for free if you have no money on your character or bank. You can just give it all to an alt.

I think so too, in fact the guaranteed rewards from them are a very casual-friendly concept. The achievements just need to be less mind-numbing. They need to do away with any temporary achievement that involves numbers over 40.

IMO, I don’t feel the pressure with the regular achievements because I can always get to them later, but these temporary achievements and rewards are really making GW2 seem like a job, especially the recent ones that have been thoroughly discussed on these forums. This is especially bad for people who have, y’know, real jobs and may not be able to play for a week or two, this system is really marginalizes them.
Contrast GW1, where events brought quests and activities that could be time consuming, but if you didn’t have time or patience you could just buy a stack of tokens, get your headgear, and not feel guilty for being left out of any rewards. You weren’t pressured to stay in the arena for X number of games to get something, you played till you got bored and left. No AFK title seekers, everyone who is there is there because they want to play.
So IMO this can get fixed several ways:
1. Focus LS less on achievements and more on quests and dungeons.
2. Let each LS persist for a full month like parts of Dragon Bash currently do, even while another LS starts on top of it.
3. Go back to a monthly or slower cycle, which would put less pressure on the devs, allowing them to release more meaningful, complete content.

Damaged armor has the same effectiveness as undamaged armor. Showing a visual effect will give people the opportunity to call you out and harass you to repair your armor for no better combat effectiveness.
Personally I always wait until at least one piece of armor is broken before repairing.
Currently you can use Space or Enter to load the currently selected character. How about also allowing A/D and Left/Right Arrow to select characters?
This is expected behavior and it always slows me down when I try to do this by instinct and nothing happens.
Sorry about Signet of Air, that’s just for running around. I always swap it out in a dungeon. I do run Air 3 often, formerly exclusively when I used elemental summons a lot.

After getting splatted a lot in fractals, I came to my current Knight’s build:
It survives pretty well, in fact I usually outlive my team in bad situations.
I’d like to up vitality, ditch magic find, and fit Pyromancer’s Puissance while retaining good durability and support.
I was considering carrion armor, that was my first set that I later salvaged and I remember doing surprisingly well in it. Must have been the vitality.

Yeah I think boss mechanics should reward player situational awareness, chat notifications don’t do that at all. In fact the developers implemented the chat notifications deliberately to make boss fights easier, that’s the wrong direction to take things.
I like defiant stripping animation idea.
Mechanics that rely on conditions should work with any condition, because not every class has access to every condition.

It seems alt-switching for maximum token gain no longer works. I have confirmed this for CoF P1, does this apply everywhere? When did it start?
I already hated having to run a dungeon so many times for a set of gear, now the pain is compounded by the slower rate of tokens.
