Everyone seems to think Hammer is some easy weapon set to use, when in reality, it’s not, most of the skills are high risk high reward, long cd’s and has a lot of counters. Learning all the possible combos is one of the most challenging aspects. I like to think of hammer as a chess game, you literally have to know what your opponents moves will be before deciding what action to take next.

warriors are like jack of all trades when it comes to possible potential builds and you can be a master of any of those builds but only once at a time. i.e. very mobile or very slow. very tanky or very squishy. never everything at once else won’t do good.

what’s nice about warriors is the weapon skins and looks that it can carry. it’s not as easy to use as a guardian but it can hold it’s ground. thieves are harder to play for me.

Well since TC lost to FA last week, it should be pretty evident that most of the WVW players are taking some time to celebrate the Holidays with their families now (as are most people). I wouldn’t get too worked up about the results this week.

Yeah, and FA’s favorite strategy seems to be to run away and bore us to sleep by playing the hard PPT game. Hey, whatever works for you.

That’s about right or just hides in tower with Ac’s. I rather miss SoS b/c they didn’t do this that much at all during SEA. They actually would have open field fights.

Agreed. We had to chase the TC 60+ map zerg from map to map (since there’s no fight in MagSwag) to get fights. Sadly TC doesn’t fight unless there’s a tower nearby with atleast 600 supplies.

The match prior to last week, this was what I thought about FA when we continuously raided every Orange swords on all 4 borders because FA kept disappearing on the map (sea/ocx time).

Want me to give you Meow’s whereabouts once we get back from holidays? I’ll be your spy on Meow.

I’m hoping my guildleader shows up again; so we can have gvg’s in the future. I think we’ve cancelled our gvg’s 2 x straight now.

I think we won about 10 rounds in that scrim. and only lost 1 round.
Also, I just camped Mag’s North camp with awesome siege skills.

yes, I’ve experienced it, which is why I’ve been playing my ps games, bought bioshock 1 and infinite. very immersed in it and having fun.

i log in to wvw to play every now and then, and if i lag to bad – i check by doing sword leap with my ciel, (lag if seems like she’s just jumping forward, and not lagging if she does the whole animation) and play if no lag but play my ps if there is lag.

i do hope it gets fixed soon. now it’s better though; so i get to play longer in wvw.

Tested the ingame server lag. Seems playable now versus the start of the matchup.

The question is not correct because it only caters to few of the players who are posting here. Me, for example, best thing to do is date with my family and bring home the bacon each day.

But that begs the question, why do you ask? Is it because the best thing you have to do for the holidays is to try kitten the forums?

I think most of us are not playing as much as we’d like not because of the holidays because by holidays we are free but because of the server lag. :/

Just running 2-5 minutes in the borderlands and I’m inclined to play a different mmo. ;3 Hopefully when things are server lagged fix I’ll be recording our fights again and having fun with the gang. ;3

making warriors less mobile is like taking away thief’s ability to hide or a guardians ability to dodge heal or a mesmer’s ability to create clones or an elementalist’s staff skills.

there is no class that can kill anyone with just one build in gw2. that’s why you set your traits properly, your gear properly and weapons and food to fit your designed play style.

I like this. Fa seems stronger than Tc, which means we can have good fights all around. stay classy tc, fa, and sos

I like havok teams and I support more of this sort of playstyle as long as those in my server doing it help and communicate with each other or with the commander. else, the havok team does more damage than good. While I can’t force ppl to help each other, this is my take on it. I don’t claim tc looks at it this way nor my guildmates, just me.

Havoc teams (good ones) do not need any instruction or guidance from anyone. Its those havoc teams that are fighting on an enemy borderland alone in outmanned situations at most times. Its those teams that are randomly flipping keeps, towers and camps when nobody else is around. SoS has some, TC has some and FA has some of these teams.

A lot of what these teams do are never realized, I’ve seen teams from all the servers decimating reinforcements trying to reach their keep that is under siege. Its these teams that patch gates behind enemy zergs and contest waypoints.

Those teams will gladly communicate and work with commanders & other havoc teams IF they are on map and IF the commander doesn’t make foolish maneuvers that waste the havoc groups time. Such as when a havoc team has a wall at 40% and the commander runs right past the group, drops siege on the gate and proceeds to uber blob the gate to death.
(We try and work with whatever commander or teams are on map, but we also can think for ourselves and don’t need to be asked to do everything. Doesn’t take much communication to look at mos and determine a camp needs to be flipped.)

The one thing I’ll say about every dedicated havoc group I’ve ever seen, from multiple different servers. You don’t try and boss them around, and you make friends with em, they will think nothing of slamming a golem into a T3 keep vs an 80 man blob to buy you time to take something else. Annoy them, and your going to find yourself without some of your best scouts, without camps, tapped waypoints or bloodlust.

if you guys check the videos i posted earlier on reset, you will see our numbers aren’t that many and it’s jsut the same people running the rest of week. however, over the days the numbers of sos and fa seems to dwindle.

I think it’s because of the new pve craft me armor thing. And the christmas etc. befor holidays project and such.

Also, we were hoping to find fights because fa and sos are really good in openfield, which got us pumping

You might like tc based on what you wrote. We’re not as strong as blackgate nor as populated but we do pretty well in all areas.

I took this skill because i have the skill points but you wont’ find me using it since all other healing skills we have right now are way better. ;3 You can always use it though for lols.
