zerging is not a problem, only lag is. =) test how many players is max before server lag happens and change max cap.
then in the spirit of competition, add one wvw map. example
2 alpine 1 eb, 2 desert

is it based on the period of play? the number of players? or both?
Because a team of 50 who play 6 to 8 hours may end up closing the server vs a team of 150 who plays 2 hours at a time.

hard part for us is this because my group kills are based on skills and utils. When its one one one, the enemy is just way to many and tanky. hahah.

the thing we need is those partied with com have a different color than the tag =) thats the only problem i find which makes it difficult for people to crosshair.

And if we work on wvw only gear, how will we fair in pve?

count population by the time player play x kills and deaths x pips x victory points. cross reference it per account and you have it.

hope this gets fixed because when we need to defend if a map and u have to wait for 2 minutes, you then lose such structure.

Tanking is doable before 1 up 1 down. So, going back to the old system is not the solution.
1 up 1 down so far has show the more evident way to increase rank in wvw server. If you one win your tier you go up. If you don’t, you stay. And if you lose, you go down. Unless you’re in last tier. Glicko failed in this because it kept winning servers in certain tiers or pulled up those that didn’t win.
imo. Tanking will always be part of the strategy. Real life teams do it. Athletes do it. You even do it at work. Not going to change unless people themselves choose to be different.

They must do something, as a commander, I hate losing people because they can’t play because while we engage; the game stalls. when we think we are still fighting but the engage ended 30s ago and like a fast forward, the game catches up and everyone is either alive or dead.

team leader choose what class to ban from each team choices and max ban would be subject to the parties.
then parties decide what to use and build. strat talk. then play.
2 elimination round depending on how many teams play.

if applied in gvg e sports, possible a skill tab on the left or right should record the skills used and damage on whom so the shout casters can report based on the engage.
possibly 10v10 at most. or 15v15 in the extreme
So 10 to 15 players play. choose team leader. leaders talk and decide builds to ban. choose from remaining classes. decide strat and play.
the banning of builds is needed to balance out the game play.
