This reminds me when wxp was first introduced. Let the circle capping begin. i find that dragon eating its own tail a wonderful way to think of this.

Interesting btw. Goes well with the headbanging style your tc zerg provides. No worries, we are learning. Nevertheless i would like to ask if you could maybe please push that stand-off at our eb keep to na primetime for once instead of lunch time so the na crew actually can enjoy this for once too.
Hehe, for the dragonite ore >3<
My ideal way of fighting would be all three servers are at a stalemate in each bl having held their own third and are fighting in the nodes.
And same with eb – and trying to gain victory in taking smc. A three way royal rumble.

3.6k Armor + ~40+% Crit, ~35% Crit damage, 2.8k Arrack, 15-16k HP, 200 Healing.
So what do you think? Would this work in PvE/WvW?
I’m guessing 3.6k is overkill, for what total armor number should I be aiming for?
And no, I don’t want to play as a zerker.
Want the most damage with the best survivaility.
That toughness is okay for both. But to know if it will work with your build, we’ll have to see your build.
Always Loyal
A cleric warrior build can work if you build it right.
cleric armor, pvt trinkets, cleric weapons, runes of the soldier, sigil of life on hammer, sigil of energy on warhorn, and sigil of leach on the sword.
It is a good zerg warrior build.

We should have a change of sieges someday. I think this turtle fits the mark.

WVW isn’t all about open field combat. All professions are good in it. And it’s up to your team to synergize all professions.
Always Loyal
We already have that. Omega and alpha golems.

They should have made only 3 servers and these three will fight for being the top 1 and focused on a bigger open world pvp with lots of maps. It would be awesome!!!
Consolidate all servers into three, then allow players to choose which they’ll join for free.

^
Unfortunately that is the case. Well, gw2 isn’t easy to learn at first glance and is pretty not intuitive. But it gets better the more one plays it in a certain way.

Transferring to one server or another is okay as long as you find it fun as a player. Don’t care what other people think is the better way to approach it.
Grind out the win, and shove that trophy on their faces.
That being said.
SOS defense reminds me of Greed from Full Metal Alchemist. The ultimate shield.

What is wrong here?
The perception that transferring is a bad thing.
Why is this wrong?
Because any player, who bought this game with his own money, can do with it as he will.
That’s so generic a reason that you might as well say there is no right or wrong and nothing has meaning and nothing should ever be discussed.
14 months of growing population inequality between last place and first place is wrong and it’s wrong it should continue. You think it’s right that the population difference between tier 1 and TC is so huge? That the difference between TC and ranks 5 and 6 is so huge? Do you think it is not wrong that the situation only gets worse every month?
There’s different directions for the game, trends, and some things can be right and wrong or well, kinda meh, heh, but being “people bought the game so they can do whatever” is just careless. The game has systems and incentives in it and we can judge and debate those systems based on the pros and cons. I mean, what else are these forums for? And what else are hobbies for?
1. I am entitled to my thoughts and opinion kitten are you. So, I shared it here in the forums. Whether you agree with it or not is up to you.
2. I think it bad game design. But those questions are not related to my reply to you but something you concluded on your own.
3. But that’s the truth, people can do as they wish. Play the game by the rules or quit or change. It is a choice. And as for things, you simply add meaning to it based on your own perception of things. A rock can be worth 100m to someone and trash to another.
4. Sticking to the topic, based on our current game system, simply make a home for your community and they will stay. Or you might go with them. As such are hobbies, you mustn’t treat it as work.
5. We use these forums so the devs will learn how to make a good game. But in the process there will be opinions like yours and mine which will not agree on things. Got to learn to accept that.

The market has nothing to do with siege damage.
Craft your superior and grind for it = money or defense or offense profit.
Always Loyal
The problem here is this.
players thing by following a build setup they will instantly become op in wvw. but that’s not the case. you will easily die if you do not know how to synergize those build to the situation you’re facing.
What is the solution?
Learn to play your class, and focus on one build at a time. It will be a grind, and it will take some time to gain some experience, but that is the only way if you want to be an ACE player.
So, practice, practice, and practice.

I understand. I’ll try it out one of these days. When you know, you recognize it. And I recognize what you’ve written.

I do not roam but when I see roamers and they are fighting others, I simply let them do their thing. Or if one comes after me, I run away (i’m built for team).
No one has the right or privilege to tell us how we should enjoy the game we bought. If you like doing it this way, keep it up. It is rare to see people who seek fair fights.
Always Loyal
What is wrong here?
The perception that transferring is a bad thing.
Why is this wrong?
Because any player, who bought this game with his own money, can do with it as he will.
And any player of whom no longer likes the environment or community should be able to move for greener pastures.
You will eventually find a place where you will fit in. And I am sure those who transferred to or off DB would be so.
So, instead of QQ as to why your acquaintances left a server for another server or even another game, simply think of what to do about it; so the remaining will stay, and also new transfers will come.

Which pvp? SPVP? TPVP? or WVW (open world pvp w/ no item restriction)?
sPvP (Hotjoin and SoloQ) for now. Sorry, I forgot that their were multiple types!
Ah, for spvp hot join, hammer longbow is a very very good build since it’s a team support one, and can kill as long as you master it.
It’s an awesome flashy looking and efficiently effective in hot join

Sos is formidable, they’re like our polar opposite. It would be nice if your sea fought our na, and your na fought our sea. Hehe
SoS doesn’t have any major SEA guilds. We have a few smallish guilds that’s it… and by small I mean ~10 people lol.
TC on the other hand has Awe and INVC and some others.
Happy to hear you think we’re formidable though
Actually, presence isn’t as active as before in wvw. We’re just 5 in wvw during sea time since the patch changed wvw for us. But invc is going strong.
Always Loyal
The problem is we do not know which server has what wvw population at which time.
The solution is to simply put a number of players in game at real time to see how many we really have.
Knowing that, we’ll be able to calculate which server has which and will need what number of players and at which time.
A good system is to introduce a real time population restrictor based on the lowest number server in a match + 2 other servers and get the mean. Population cap per map in a time zone till lower pop server has 25% increase or in que w/c means – change in population cap again for a map. At least something like that.
And an in game ghost mode for those in queue to chat and be spectators. Or at least have that option.

Which pvp? SPVP? TPVP? or WVW (open world pvp w/ no item restriction)?
Always Loyal
Thing is you won’t always be in a siege, but siege will hit you more often. So, save your precious points for siege bunker. (the most important thing for a casual wvw player). With that, you can stand with your guild to raid and cap stuff)
And if you’re really saving stuff – aim for defense against guards next. This way you can reduce hp on your build since you’re going to have stackable hp, which means you can set your gear to more on toughness or what stat you like.
You don’t need to be a master of all, just some good traits.

Really?
Our sea team is pretty much skeleton though. It’s like 5:1. But is fun. What I mean to say is, isn’t it fun to fight something rather than pvd?
Always Loyal
In this order
siege bunker max
then at least 1 point in supply, repair, and build mastery.
From there – defense against guards, then it’s up to you.

This should be in the warrior forum.
Pros – range wise, you will do well against the enemy as long as you dodge and stay with the herd.
Con – you have limited mobility; so your mobility will have to come from good team composition.

The old school hammer shout warrior is this, the shouts weren’t mainly used for healing but for the means to take out negative buffs with souldier runes. Adding healing to it made such a bonus.
But cleric gear also works well together pvt ascended accessories + food. Just a matter of preferrence.
It is a matter of preference, but the fact is that most of the warriors run PVT, for the damage and added survivability against bursts. Like I said I ran the numbers and I don’t find it worth it to go clerics because of all the stats you’ll lose and it is not only the damage.
But the difference ain’t that big, it wont make you ‘much’ worse overall going clerics. Because your healing will be higher. It will require a different playstyle. But if I had to chose one and say that is the best, I would go PVT.
I can respect that. I’m a knights warrior myself (my first set ever was taugrim’s riffle build) and I’ve experimented all I can think about warriors but find myself returning to this basic build (all the money i shouldn’t have spend ahah).

In pve you can determine the enemies style by fighting them often; so you know their quirks, which means you need little defensive attributes to kill them, but use strategy, bugs, and smart means.
Seriously, bro?
I have two explanations for this – You think stacking is a bug
Or
You think climbing the stairs at ACP1 is a valid stratEither way it looks bad.
You can always opt to do it the hard way. Take ta – new path for example. kill every single thing on your path <3

I usually don’t post on the forums—hear me out! I’m not a bad player, but not the best.
I was unknowingly guesting on Blackgate. I did LFG for an AC run. I was on my Guardian. I was spec’d 100% Healway Guardian (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/WvW-The-Healway-Guardian).
I was with a Warr/Warr/Ele/Mes. Someone pulled the Spider Queen and it was dead BEFORE it crawled to the spot you normally stack. I thought it was a bug/glitch. WTF.
The graveling sob after the spider queen was the same. We stacked and ALL of the mobs and the champ were dead in about 3-4 secs. I started asking in my group what was going on. They told me that they knew “how to roll” and that “you’re bad, but it’s okay”.
We killed Kholer in about 15 seconds. I asked them why I was bad and told them my build (healway guardian). They all freaked out and said my build was crap and started offering suggestions.
At the end I switched to my low level warrior for the XP (like most people do) and they kicked me for it. I guess they had no tolerance for that.
So my question is simple: How is it possible to kill bosses in AC as fast as I described and why is the Healway Guardian build bad (according to people on Blackgate)?
I thought it was quite good, tbh. Thanks.
In pve you can determine the enemies style by fighting them often; so you know their quirks, which means you need little defensive attributes to kill them, but use strategy, bugs, and smart means.
Don’t be too kitten yourself. Simply get a second set of exos, with all knights or knights cavalier, or berserker for pve events.

Server pride results from a good gaming community within the server; so if your server has that, your server will retain players, and will develop a good well rounded force.
However, keep note you can probably have good relations of at most 15 players in a game. And probably close to 3-5 if you’re not charismatic, but that’s okay. Play with your buddies and care not what other people think.

I’ve used a shoit /heal build for quite a while now. It has CC, heals, buffs, cleanses, and so on. I enjoy the survivability and utility of it the most.
I used to use your build in the old days. That’s what got me started to using the signets when it wasn’t popular.

Advantages of a warhorn
1. Off hand; so you have a main hand of choice which is sword, axe, or mace.
2. speed buffs
3. if traited, converts conditions into boons
4. weakens dodge rate and regens of your enemies
5. blast finisher spammable in a good team composition
Disadvantage
1. It is not a damaging offhand.
2. It cannot block or stun an enemy.
