But then whats the reason to do Fractal? Fractal should be the go to place for ascended armor drops and yield decent gold on the side (Neither are true at the moment). This should be the place you go to ready up for Raids that doesn’t involve spamming F and 1 in a big blob.

Raids should drop ascended too should, but mostly have their very own unique incentive, like the Legendary Armor and ascended trinkets of the new stats (Vipers,etc.). Maybe even some cool weapon new skins.

Also can you stop making them and make armor skin sets instead? thanks!

Also can Vipers of that stuff be obtained too?

Can Ascended Viper Amulet’s also be received through completing HoT AP?

Ascended much more expensive.
Ascended drops much less in Fractals.

the WP doesn’t help, you stay in combat for so long in that place. They hot fixed the gate thing, but never fixed the WP issues and him teleporting back up if someone uses WP while everyone is on the bottom floor lol.

The event was to spend all your gold on ToT bags on the TP, and hope for luck to make back several times more gold

This should be a check-box feature for Charr feet slot, not an impossbile drop

I fully expect them to slowly return to their ele/warr once they get tired of solo or open world stuff. They will go back to fractals, pvp, or raids once they find out their old mains are actually still far better at that stuff. That’s just how games work, people gravitate to the actual better performing classes. This will be no different, give it a week or two more.

Just if necro wasn’t fighting for last place in everything except solo’ing new zones of an expansion for the first week or two.

But It just seems extremely fishy. Being rolled back as soon as getting the first good item in a long time. I’ve never even heard of isolated roll backs from disconnect before.

So I opened like 250 bags (out of thousands for this event) and finally got something decent.

It was the black cat necklace. (contains black refracting gem worth ~200g)

But after 3minutes of getting this I was disconnected. Upon reconnecting the stack of ToT bags was back in my bag and the Necklace was no longer equiped on me, instead my old one was back. I was rolled back clearly.

Is there anyone or anything that can look into the logs (to see this 100% is true and hapened) and fix this? It’s such a bummer this was the only valuable item I have gotten this halloween…what are the chances? I’ve never been rolled back before…

Poor necro. All the rerollers are going to go back to Warrior come raids.

I wouldn’ t go Necro, word on the street is when all the HoT dust settles it’ll be back to “No necro” for dungeons/fractal/raids. Lowest DPS and bad group support.

That sucks. Whats so special about sinister were they aren’t just easily gotten like other stuff, and don’t have to use 200g

Or is there an alternative way to get those? I would have to spend 200g just for those when I can get other combos for laurels.

Honestly? People have posted about how easy this game is for years. Heart of Thorns has given opportunity for increased difficulty in nearly every respect. You don’t have to spend the time and effort to make these skins. No one is forcing you.

Yeah but its like a F2P farm game item, not an event item from a B2P game…like how stuff usually is in this game like in the last few halloweens. This is more expensive than legendaries.

This event was mostly for TP barons and gold buyers.

kitten I shoulda farmed thousands of gold for this event.

This is the kind of thing you see in a full F2P game to promote $$$→gold.

There are 8 Tyria mastery points for doing the achievements on each part of LS season 2. Im not sure if you need them to get all the Tyria mastery tracks completed though.

But those can be farmed elsewhere, so I don’t really need LS2 right?

I remember when the awesome shoulder skins used to just be in ToT bags, now you gotta shell out 800g lol. I feel bad for returning players (for HoT) who don’t have much gold, they probably saw how gold gated this new events is compared to the first Halloween and just puked all over the monitor.

Someone told me the LS2 achievements were required for certain Mastery Paths advancements, is this true? That would suck having to buy this on top of the Expansion.
