it almost had to be done. They were being massivly used to trivialize dungeons. I don’t think the nerf should have been quite as bad though with having to equip it, activate it and suffer the cooldown. They are pretty worthless right now. They could be made usefull if they actualy pulled you out of combat when used though.
I would love to see some kind of AR immunity or let the pets AR match the owners AR. I don’t use a pet build on my ranger in fractals for this very reason as it is useless.
You can’t perma stow them so they are always out and die in one agony hit then you have a cooldown to summon another. Top this all off by the fact that they get targeted in Jade Maw more than players and it is over the top.
My solution would be to give pets the same AR that the master has and make it so in Jade Maw pets won’t get targeted by the skull (this includes mesmer clones also)
I just wish they would get a real patching system. This is verging on tiresome :-( I love the game but getting new builds like this sucks when it takes forever to download.
I tend to agree with the earlier in the day aspect but really these bottlenecks shouldn’t be happening 6 months in. The patcher issues should have been ironed out long before now.
Wow. So you have to group for one last step of your personal story and the game is a bust? Really maybe MMO’s are not for you. They are massivly multiplayer for a reason and getting to know other people and group up is half the fun of the game. If you don’t want to group with anyone you might as well just play a solo game.
I have a feeling most of the immaturity and general rudeness on SoR is due to transfers. Definately was not that bad the first time around. I salute you guys that do show respect but definately do not have any respect for the bandwagoners. And yes I am from SBI.
SBI is far from dead btw. Sure WvW might not be jam packed full 24/7 stacked like it was but the server as a whole is doing very well. I get tired of the term dead server.
There have been a few trolls in chat…but they’re just trolling while they wait for a transfer mostly; as those names disappear a few days later.
Those who will remain will be the kind of players we prefer to have.

I am not going to lie and say everying is facerolling in WvW because it isn’t. I will tell you that we do still have guilds here that are looking to rebuild. It won’t be easy but you can be sure it will be fun.
The achievment works fine. you are missing one. As others have said there are certain buildings that look like they might be smashed and need to be smashed again to finish them.
Whoever that stealthed thief was in vale on SOS BL preventing the cap for a good 5 minutes…. don’t pull that crap again. I don’t give two craps if you did that in other tiers, keep it away from T1 and have a good sportsmanship attitude. We capped it, now deal with it

Luckily they are going to patch it so they can’t do that lame crap. I for one will be gratefull when they do since having one stealthed thief stop a cap with 20+ people is stupid.
So SoS, how does it feel to have SBI do their old “you siege a place for a few hours we swoop in and take it kthxbai” tactic on you guys several times?
It isn’t fair, but hey war isn’t fair, but maybe now you’ll understand why the hell we are all so kitten confused on JQ that we get double teamed all the kitten time.
SBI must have a pretty darn good PR machine to keep them so squeaky clean reputation wise cus I rarely if ever see people attack them when they are open. If, god forbid, we leave our flank open for a second its attacked immediately by whomever is hungry.
Probably the reason we are so jaded. Countless times I see us push into SBI lands only for you guys to attack our flank instead of attacking SBI elsewhere. But, whenever SBI attacks us you join in on the party.
Last night we had to try and defend you guys attacking dawn over and over while sbi attacked our bay over and over. Obviously we would lose one. Funny thing is the entire time SBI was rampaging over all of your territory.

It harkens back to the first T1 matchup with SBI, HoD, and JQ that earned them the nickname JQQ. Although I know this poster is the vocal minority so I would just ignore them personally. The rest of JQ is a class act for the most part.
i was wondering why everything in this game gets nerfed but the wars get buffed ? i see people qq’ing about how this is op and that is op . someone told me the person or persons that do the balancing in this game actually play this game and there main is a war and thats why they they got buffed and not nerfed . i dont care if this is true or not i am just upset . who ever does the balancing take a look at these links
The thief isn’t hacking. He’s using infiltrators arrow to ‘teleport’ him into the keep. In the one picture posted, you can see he has his crossbow out ready to use the skill. In the thief forums, a thief actually just posted a video the other day showing various places you can use the skill to get access to. Yes, it is a problem and I’m sure Anet will address so don’t get all QQ about it and blame the thief for hacking. Direct all anger at Anet for the issue.
They were supposed to have fixed the ability to do that. I would bug it and screenshot it ingame so they know exactly where it is. There is probably a terain block that got overlooked and needs to be changed.
you cannot retry from checkpoint unless your whole party wipes. you either have to be ressed by them or they have to wipe. This is to prevent just zerg rushing the bosses.

It wont take that much of a brain to figure out which one, it has already more then 50 replies.
because the devs that are working on this event are the same ones that do class balance and class stuff.
So skip WvW for the events then play again. As long as you are having a good time fighting the score is trivial. Sure it is nice to be number one all the time but if it deters from you enjoying anything else then its time to stop doing WvW because it has become a job instead of fun.
Kudos to you guys. This is a very nice post without a lot of chest thumping. I look forward to fighting you guys this coming week and wish you the best of luck. My biggest advice is play for the fights and not the score. If you get focused on the score and get behind you get disheartened. Just play your heart out and have fun.
Simply make it so you can’t contribute to the cap if you are in stealth and the problem is solved. There are some thiefs that are really good and can remain kitten near perma stealthed even with everyone aoe’ing the area.
There is no reason a single person should be able to stop something from capping like that. It is especialy bad with supply camps since the ring is so huge and they do it just to stop the cap before the point tick and then leave after.

Riiight give up runes and sigils for a few points more stats. I know I will jump all over that. I wouldn’t jump to conclusions untill you actualy see the stuff.
The stats are the same for the most part, maybe a little better from the looks of the blog. The buffs you would normally get from slots are built in. Which means you can’t put runes in it like normal armor.
I am sure more guilds would up and transfer if you allowed them to keep all their influence and upgrades. These used to get nuked on transfer, I am not sure if they do still or not.
It’s funny how people think, last week BG did nothing but attack JQ even though we were in 2nd or 3rd place with SBI in a solid 1st place.
Fast forward this week and in the last 12 hours JQ has been in 1st place with SBI in 2nd and BG 3rd and they still continues to attack JQ. In these last 12 hours on the ethernal map BG and SBI have only taken each others land 5 times, 5 times in 12 hours.
BG you all must like being lap dogs for SBI since this is 2 weeks in a row of you all losing.
As for the comment about JQ it has alot of old DAOC and WHO guilds.

Getting tired of this matchup. 2v1 for 3 weeks straight… guess we’re learning lots but it’d be nice to get out of JQ BL without SBI camping our spawn despite JQ owning 95% of that map. Looks like they’re trading wins now.

I would be the first to report someone if I knew they were hacking on any server, but finding a guardian inside of DB is not proof of anything. It is easy to hide in DB if no one does an extremely good sweep. Trust me, it has happened to us a number of times (band-wagoners don’t concern themselves with sweeping).
Unfortunately for you guys at SBI and JQ, seems that the band-wagoners chose you for the flavor of the week… Not that any of us are surprised (blasted free transfers). GL out there everyone, it has been really fun.

What makes you think that JQ is flavor of the week; being 3rd and then 2nd from these match ups? 2nd place with IoJ here? Makes absolutely no sense.
I will tell you we have been trying to fill the gaps. Also, we have been missing a TON of asian players, mainly Chinese players. These players kept WM in check (and I know they are absent atm). No really beat them per say, but made sure WM didn’t run away with the map. We, as a server, have been trying to fill that gap until that blows over….when ever that is. Recruiting doesn’t = bandwagoning.
Going from 3-4 hour ques, when we won 3 times in a row, to 10-15 min ques…Doesn’t sound like bandwagoning to me. Sounds like they left is more like it; which I’m glad.
I can’t speak for SBI’s server.
No need to look that far into it, it was just a guess prediction on what people will do. I hope for your sake that you are right, you will definitely see the drop in community quality if they show up.
Its not a guess for SBI though, I have seen so many new randoms and a distinct drop in community quality/skill.
Bandwagoners come and go. It matters little since the core of SBI has been here since day 1. If we lose the bandwagoners transfer off and become someone elses problem. I can garuntee you the day one guilds are here to stay and won’t go anywhere so no worries :-D
After all it was they that put us in T1 and kept us there without bandwagoners. We by no means were carried to T1
