DH just got nerfed recently.
What needs balanced are Heralds not so much DH. I play all elite specs and Herald feels the most out of place OP

One single dodge and all traps is gone, maybe is time fight 1v1 vs DH and learn mechanics before that you make topic.
Only two traps make spike DMG, Test of Figh make 3.1k crit dmg 24 sec CD with traits and Dragon’s Maw 4.3k DMG 48 sec CD, other two traps make DOT DMG.
Guardian with four traps has zero mobility and zero defensive skills.
And for all, easy way how kill DH is ranged weapon and dont stay in traps.
lol, DH drop them right on top of you not set them down and wait for you to walk into them…
I like it how it is. I disliked seeing people constantly trying to counter comp before the timer ran out.
Doesn’t have to show on the score board, rather only when you target.

Hot join is a 1000x worse experience for new players than stronghold, that is unless they enjoy 5v3 zerg fests.

I really Love to see people try to argument they’re problem to kill burn builds (expecially guardians) posting images where they suffered by 60-80k of burn damage.
But that’s the proof that Burn IS NOT OP.
The reason?
How can a OP damage need to deal 60-80k of damage to you to kill you? How much time a guardian to stack enough burn and make it last to deal that 60-80k of damage???
If a guardian will stack on you 9 stack of burn and keep it on you (barely impossible for more than 4 seconds why skills recharge and condi cleans), the guardian need literally 20-30 seconds to deal all that damage.
But frequently the damage have a “burst” of 12-15 and then fall down to 3-6 (if the enemy let you stack and mantain burn), making your damage fall down.Then, if you are a Warrior (that can use berserker stance to be immune to conditions for 8-10 sec) survived all that burn damage, how long that “OP Burn” needed to take you down, adding that you was in teamfight and there will be other conditions and direct damage sources that dealt damage to you?
I can say that the guardian dps is “OP” when I see that with the GS skill 2 dealt me 8k, plus another 3k by skill 3, some xK by 4 and 5, killing my berserker pg in 3-4 seconds with a insane burst (is really funny when I kill zerk thiefs in that way with my dps guardian). That’s why I’m been killed in 4 seconds with 14-16k of damage burst hard to evade (GS skill 5 is the best to kill noobs).
But if I recive 60-80k of Burn damage plus a large amount of direct and other condi damage before I fall, that’s not to call OP, because to kill you I needed to deal you 60k of damage, making me take a lot of time to kill you, a really big amount of time.
Seriously: don’t post stupid images of “OP Burn Damage” why all that is only a proof that Burn is not enough strong to kill you fast like you sayd.
Seriously: if to kill a warrior you need 60k of burn (counting that almost all warriors use Berserk Stance and have a lot of condi removal by skills or traits) is like you need to kill him 3-5 times before he drop downed at your feets.
And that all don’t seems to me to be “OP”.
Guardian burn is only good to kill noobs in unranked.
If you want to kill good players with burn you have to be really skilled and know all the enemy condi clean, timing and evade they’re damage skills to survive enough to kill them with condition damage.

Random Arena from gw1 would be better.
Was just in a match against a 5 man guild premade, while my team was all solo queue’s and even had a ranger who just got the game.
I’d honestly prefer a sleeker more elegant finisher much like the phoenix one, not only cause the crazy particle effects but because it would just look nicer imo.

We had to rely on self-condi to do condi damage, now we simply do condi damage on our own (lower, ok, needs a fix). Any guardian/ele/REVENANT can wipe away all our stacked conditions and kitten us up, it’s an unreliable source of damage in any group content.
90% of the (good) mallyx footage I’ve seen was solo roaming or pvp.
Now, since Mallyx is simply the most useful legend in Raid (at least this first one), I want it to be able to do condi damage in group play. Thanks.
It’s weaker? Yes, probably. But the new mechanic is simply better, and the old on was simply corruption necro, come on. Nothing original lost here.
The aoe displacement? Big nerf, I agree, but it was OP. Just a knockback would be great.

Im sorry gun flame essentially one shots on a 8 second cooldown, its bugged and hits twice.

lol you hover at 10 and for half a second it gets to 12 and that is also if you have the passive signet active and dont use the skill or go into another legend.

So you’ve been burning for 73seconds before you died. And conditions are op?
What about 16 seconds. You also have to realize a majority of the damage can from a minority of the ticks maybe the last five hit the hardest.

All warriors have? Or all warriors need? I don’t know if you’ve faced a good warrior lately, but they can spam invulns to condi, to damage, and when all that’s down, it’s time to roll face rampage.
I play everything I a know what’s broken when I play it. I can roll a Rampage warrior and mash my feet on the keyboard for tournament wins.
Go solo queue and tell me who wins a team fight with one or two rampaged in the mix.
You really should roll warrior and see how useless it is the other 2 and a half minutes you dont have rampage.
What? … You can go Unranked with F2P? I though they only could use the game browser and join, that is bad.
How is that bad? Do you want new player’s first experience with pvp to be 5v3 one sided zergfest mess?
They balanced mallyx by removing its core functionality and making it a bash buttons and apply condis legend that has no skillful play to it. UA was the only good change.

That is for any skill in stealth, for warrior its only burst skill, it is also alot easier to dodge a warrior burst skill and almost impossible to dodge a attack from stealth.

Hotjoin was horrible experience for new players and it definitely an improvement getting rid of its button.

Considering Rush is broken and only hits the enemy 50% of the time that would be a horrible idea.
I get the fun of the high paced, burst meta but at this points its just spam all your skills and hope the other team dies before you do.
In pvp at least you die in two seconds if you get caught with any cc you’re pretty much dead.

Numerous PvE maps being added and changed all the time, and the grand ol’ Lion’s Arch being changed and recreated over and over.
But Heart of the Mists gets no love.
Even WvW is getting new Bordlerlands, new mechanics, map changes (ruin update) and even EotM.
Some actually new conquest maps would be nice too.
It goes away if you close and open it again it seems, must have been a mistake and anet didnt mean to add it. Either way I like the fact they added the ablility to choose what gamemode and that they got rid of the hotjoin button
I want random areanas(like in gw1), 1v1 areanas, and more maps some balance patches and thats pretty much it.
I agree with Fast Hands I feel almost every warrior build will have to pick the discipline line just for that trait and cripple build diversity even more when anet wants to create more diversity.

It’s funny seeing people in this thread get upset that this game is getting some publicity from a very popular streamer. It’s also funny seeing people act like their precious game is going to suddenly become tainted because of this. These types of people are just as bad as the people they claim will come and “taint” their game. New players should always be welcome in games like this where the population drives the success of the game.

I play all eight professions and consider myself to be pretty competent sPvP player (except as a thief, I suck at it big time). Engi is probably my second favorite profession after warrior, which is my main.
Last night I was playing as turret engi in unranked Temple. At one point I was alone at mid and facing a warrior 1 vs 1. Mind you that I main warrior so I know every possible strategy that profession can use. My turrets were all positioned as they were supposed to yet this warrior managed to own me two times in a row. Do you know why? Because he was playing smart. He was not rushing like a fool in a middle of the cap point. Instead he was using Longbow from far away to clean my turrets and hide behind pillars when my turrets began an overcharge attack. When he saw me come closer he knew to use immobilize to prevent me from using KB on him.
That’s the exact moment (one of many actually) when I realized how useless turret engis can be if you face people which know how to play against them. You are solely relying on AI and overcharges which can be easily avoided if you pay attention. Not only that but if you use a rifle there are basically only two useful skills on it (net and KB) which have a long enough CD to be useless in team fights.
That being said, the conquest mode is the only reason why turret engis might feel OP. It literally tells people to do the exact opposite they are supposed to do against turret engis – rush toward the turrets. Once you learn NOT to do that you are pretty much good against any turret engi.
And what if warrior was defending point, is he supposed to just run off and give you the point for however long it takes to kill you?
