I am not certain about that aspect about it. But I think they do have to so that they do not count in EB, if it does then I could understand being “outmanned” in a sense. The whole camping of the JP is a tactic. Only let your server-mates reap the rewards of said chest, not allowing any other of the servers take a part of its benefits. Obviously there are other ways of getting siege but for some people it’s the only way they get it from.

Yes.. But if there is a mesmer in said JP.. They are in there for two minutes and out. Don’t really see how this ruins the gameplay.

How does it ruin the gameplay…? It’s just a puzzle after all.. Plus it rewards players with badges of honor along with siege that can be used on the battlefields.. If anything the rewards you get are totally worth getting, unless you don’t think siege is needed to take things of course. Which is just plain stupid.

Nope! It’s a supply package that you can get off killing Pack Dolyaks.. If you get said “supply package” it gives you +5 supply.

Hence why it does not actually appear in your inventory!

Good welcome back to WvW this evening. As for any kitten talk, that’s all bleh to me and I skim most of those posts for any positive notes out there. As usual, any SBI kittening about dropping tiers or coverage, please stop you annoy a lot of your servermates and promote negativity. Kind of being counter productive to the whole pulling of new guilds in to our server thing.

Anyway, in lighter news I got to play against my old servermates CDS and against two guilds I can recognize as some pretty solid teams, that being Choo and Fear. From the reports of what I heard about you guys I made sure we brought more of our A game this evening. You all bring a hell of a fight to the table.

Welcome back and thank you! It has been a lot of fun and I hope the rest of the week is the exact same.

Especially that last week, the stack (combined with portaling around the enemy zerg) worked wonders on any SOR guild that wasn’t TW.

From what I remember when I was on, Choo was using the stacking technique but against a random group of pugs. I would be impressed if they used it against HB, but I only saw it used against a bunch of pugs from mixed guilds not in the same team speak server or probably on one.

We used it nearly against everyone including HB and we wiped them we they bum rushed our garrison’s water gate. Though it was not the only thing that we used in open field battles. But to each their own.

I gotta hand it to Choo for killing BG pugs with their portal bomb tactics. Sooner or later, the pugs will learn how to properly counter a completely stationary ball of players.

5 Necros = bye bye ball.

It works extremely well right now. I recommend to keep on doing it that way our pug’s can learn to counter it now than later in tier 1.

We portal bomb HB, ICoA, etc. We see a group of BG/TC whoever. We bomb. So making it sound like we scout and are like oooo BG pug lets bomb them…. is false. Have to say our fights in your garrison are epic.

Well we don’t always bomb obviously we have been trying out some new stuff here and there this week. I do laugh when people call [Choo] a “zerg guild” considering the fact how organized we are as a guild. Considering we do take on groups double our size and larger sometimes with ease. We’ve learned a lot from playing against BG for so many weeks and we’ve become a lot stronger as you have seen. It’s really cool to see how powerful our guild is now than before, and how much of a presence we have on the battlefield.

Been a fun month of two now Blackgate. Both BG and SoR have learned many things from each other and it’s shown. Best of luck in T1 and we hope to see you battle us again very soon.

I usually see a lot of backstab thieves since it’s the bread-n-butter build. But they aren’t really a problem for me… I usually kill them in a couple seconds.

Tired of just running around in a zerg and just being a number? Join [Choo] and become a valued player inside the guild and on the battlefield. Our strategy/tactics and leadership are what make us the force we are today and we continue to grow stronger.

Yeah I am also very confused, I have not been outmanned in quite awhile and I play literally everyday and well into the night (EST time). Come roll around with [Choo] sometime, and none of our larger guilds have left nor will they be leaving anytime soon!

Sanctum of Rall. We have the largest NA presence so basically we would have a large amount of players on around that time, including later in the afternoon/evening.

I know that BG has a decent NA presence but it’s nothing close to what SoR has i’m pretty sure.

Sanctum of Rall is a very PvE friendly server along with having a strong WvW community at the same time.

You will be able to find many people running around low level area’s giving out free stuff, along with helping people out with hearts and much much more. Sanctum of Rall is a growing server and there are many guilds that could fit your tastes.

I would recommend you take a look at Sanctum of Rall. We have a very tight-knit WvW community and are looking for the amount of Euro players along with your US members as well.

Sanctum of Rall has the strongest NA presence out of everyone arguably. We have many die-hard WvW players/guilds that come out each and every day. Something that a lot of servers do is give up, SoR does not give up.

Also Sanctum of Rall is not just a server name it has a story behind the name, coming from one of the largest guilds on the server (GSCH). Though we have a lot of WvW players, we are one of the unofficial PvE servers as well.

Regarding your upgrades you can buy back influence and such and I am sure that some of our guilds would help towards your cause to get you back on your feet quickly.

Misc info: We are currently in Tier 2 and are on the verge of becoming a Tier 1 server, all that we need is more players that are able to play during the Oceanic/European timezone.

SoR does not have the strongest Primetime during NA… Blackgate shut them down during their prime which has been the case for the past 3 weeks. Come to Blackgate if you want to actually enjoy the game (plus we are moving up to T1 next week)

Last night on SoS it was about 15-20 minutes at times for EB. Not happy when I got the audio bug that made me have to log out.

This is off topic but you know you can just mute all sound in-game and it’ll stop bugging you! (Unless you like the listen to everything)

Maybe. Yesterday I ran around with the BG zerg a bit. We won some fights but I found it to be completely boring and there really wasn’t anything to brag about on either side it was just awful. Most of the time enemies didn’t even fully render before we engaged. All I did was spam buttons there was no counter play involved, nothing of what I consider to be “skill.” I don’t know how any of these big guilds find that sort of gameplay fun, I’m amazed that anyone does to be honest.

Haha I totally agree with you in each and every way.. Most of the zergs that run around do that. They run around spam skills and run around until they die, than they leave when get wiped. Never understood the fun in that.

We all know “beastgate” likes to say they steam-roll people, but its funny hearing Icoa talk about rolling anyone.

To their credit, they are getting better. They recently started exploring new strategies that they found on our website that their collective genius has spawned. Can’t wait to see what they’ll be like when they perfect them

For all the smack talk CHOO does its funny watching us derail the Lame Train every night. Looking forward to T1 so we can have some decent competition.

I’ve never seen NOC derail us, if anything you’ve ran away! Along with most of the guilds we’ve run into the past few days.

Plus both servers players (and guilds) have learned a lot from each other and it shows. It’s been great duking it out each and every week against you guys. (Even with the flaming and blah blah blah.. Thats forums for ya.)

Last night was great! Even with a huge BG zerg behind us we were able to cap and hold Bay/Hills from them until we got off. Had some epic fights and a lot of loot bags to pick up…
