I think Firebrand f2/f3 tomes need to get changed to 600 range and AoE… It’s just too annoying trying to set up a 300 range cone to heal and condi-clear. You literally have to have them be right on top of you at all times or have them be just a few steps away.

Yes you have to be that rank. Also tickets are incredibly easy to get.. You don’t have to do anything except play the game to get them lol

A majority of guilds these days aren’t willing to learn though. They generally want things handed to them. Nor will they even dare trying to GvG guilds that are way better than them. Over the past couple months I know KEK and BoRP have both tried and a lot of guilds just flat out would say no because they didn’t want to lose.

Guards are the most essential class in the game because of their stability and group sustain.

Given the amount of projectile hate, I doubt it. I do think we will see people clumping up less, trying to draw fights into areas where they can abuse the chokepoints, though.

Once comps are truly played with and figured out pirate ship will easily beat the projectile hate. It’ll end up being all about zoning which is how pirate ship is all about.

Since TDS just closed their doors and BoRP is on “break” (probably dead as well) the GvG scene is officially dead once more. KEK is the last of the top guilds… I assume the lesser guilds will still continue fighting each other every once in a blue moon though.

Zerg-busting groups aren’t too viable due to the immense power creep HoT brought, including the removal of condi caps. People just get blown up, no matter how tight they play with their guild.

Sure do. It was one of the great things about the game for awhile.. You had servers who’d purchase groups like BG/JQ for years fight against servers like SoR/TC who mainly just had NA forces. RIP SoR though

I agree.. If it’s supposed to look all plant-like then so should the bowstring. It doesn’t really look right with the simple one it has currently.

Quite possibly.. I didn’t expect the match-ups to look like this at all in all honesty. But once this week is over they’ll have their much needed “proof” that the higher tier servers basically slaughter anything in their way when matched against the low tier ones…

Any1 else notice that our tier 1 ratings are slowly dropping amongst all 3 giants even if any1 of us came first. Why is this so?

No one is pulling out huge wins anymore. If anyone is winning, it’s usually around 10-20k.

Smaller wins are better imho, that means the servers are getting closer and closer to being balanced.

Maybe one day we will be lucky enough to keep playing for 1-2k wins. How amazing would that be.

So when we are finally getting population balance, they introduce “the league” to unbalance things or will it be better for balance?

I think that the leagues will create basically two or three “monster” servers that rain down total imbalance. Unless they are going to counter the league update with freezing transfers which hasn’t been said at least yet. So until then I feel like a lot of guilds/players will transfer to whatever server they feel is the best to get said best “rewards”.

We already currently have this and a community teamspeak for any guilds/players that wish to become more solid via communication wise and scouting to be a lot more reliable.

Just need to speak to WvW leadership to get access to the forums and such.

I would say SoR personally and not because I am a member of said server. Sanctum of Rall has a history behind the name and a large community that holds the server together. With a large PvE community and very tight-knit WvW community Sanctum of Rall is one of the hot spots in my eyes for any WvWer looking to learn what it takes to fight with the best. We were an underdog for many many many months and still are, but we’ve held strong. Most of our guilds are what were here when the game first released, the rest have become our brothers in arms.

If you’re looking for a server who is willing to never back down from a fight I would believe Sanctum of Rall is the place for you.

Tonight has been quite possibly the most epic night ever in SoR history.

Good watch. Those crazy Garri defenses can be fun sometimes. Who was the commander on TS? James? I thought I saw a Choo tag on the commander but I’m not really familiar with SoR commanders outside of a few notables. Good energy though I liked it.

Also, you missed your 3rd floor jump. You’re fired.

Yes it is James/Purp. I would consider Purp pretty notable myself along with much of Blackgate I would think. (Maybe it’s just me who thinks that) I also agree it was a great watch.. It’s awesome to see Purp out again. <3

Just came back after a couple months of real life holding me back from GW2/WvW…

I’ve got to hand it to all 3 servers though.. This week has been a blast, great fights all around and it’s good to seen some nice things being to each other than just a bunch of hate. Congrats to JQ for taking #1 in the rankings this week and on the win.

I like bagels as well. Especially with peanut butter on them.

There are many ways to counter golem rushes! Whether it be large amounts of AoE/siege pouring down on them. Or having your force push out and wipe out the enemies outside while having siege rain down on them. Having scouts can easily counter golem rushes pretty efficiently as well, making them near impossible to work if you can respond each and every time.
