From what our footage says [Choo] held inside BG-Garrison for about 27 mins, facing BG/TC at the same time.. Very epic battles tonight… We are loving it!

Great work by AL and TSL last night in BGBL. Double D’s been waiting awhile for a good chance to bring the pain train to BG but most of the time I find TC and SoR too scared to even do breakout events while we slap the crap out of each other in our respective BLs. I want to say was pretty annoyed by a couple TC commanders I’d never seen or heard of who all of the sudden flocked to BG once we actually did the work to gain a foothold and were making headway. Besides a couple nice incursions by PiNK, TSL, and maybe ML? (sorry if I missed someone), but it’s still been pretty dang lonely here in BGBL for the past week or so and I would have appreciated your leadership then. You show up when we have the numbers to get things done and then you split us up to fight SoR and perpetuate two fronts to fight. Next time please step up and BE the commander to lead us out of the storm instead of riding someone else’s coattails, thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t say scared… There are times when to use a breakout and not to.

Reset was back and forth all night. Pretty well fought and even until a little later in the evening. Pretty typical of reset night when everyone has equal forces out. BG up to 300+ ppt at one point, SoR at almost 400ppt at another, TC up in real high too at one point. good stuff.

I agree. Reset is a back and forth battle all night long.. Trying to beat your chest and say you locked down reset is insane. Certain groups go certain area’s, sometimes another server won’t find as much resistance in one place than another. It just happens.

Very very very very very very epic fights in BG-BL/Garrison. [Choo] is lovin’ it!

Edit: We have had a blast all night long and continue to while we hold BG-Garrison… As I type this we are holding off another attack!

Yanno, I find it interesting, SoR, that you don’t seem to understand how much damage BG is doing to both of us. We have both been attacking Stonemist, true, and we’ve both broken through on different fronts… maybe not the inner gate on your end (As far as I know) but still…

So then why are you sending zerg forces at Ogrewatch? We’ve been trying to hold our forces back off you. Through a combined two-pronged assault we could probably be able to wipe out the forces in Stonemist Keep. Then of course fight each other for whoever ends up owning it in the end, yes, but still…

At this point I don’t care who has Stonemist as long as BG doesn’t still have it fortified and waypointed by tomorrow morning.

As for the three Choo camping my body at DB (I was the mesmer on the hill), I was actually laughing the whole time. Not at the way you guys were staying to watch over me like a hawk (which was a smart thing! We had 2 more rogue inside!) but it gave me a break to go eat some ice cream and watch some Boy Meets World. Was really funny but smart move on your part. Tried to invite you to a group but y’all were already full. ;D

If people choose to not take part in the WvW community on SoR, then how are we to be at fault? All are welcome, even if in no guild, so in all honesty if more people have the same view as you, and want a cease fire, maybe they should take part? Maybe speak up on the community forums? I’m not interested in this kind of alliance, but we don’t need an alliance to pick and choose our battles. If the strategy is to take what we can get than your “community” is failure. Thats not got to be successful except on SoR BL where the rules are different. This is not directed at anyone person but I’m not interested in listening or talking to people that don’t listen in the first place and in the second place ignore chat. This is why I do not come on TS and why I do not participate in the so called “community”

Nobody ignores chat that uses TS. If anything people always look at chat to see what is going on that we can’t see. Mishi does not want an alliance either. People on TS3 listen and do not ignore anything that is said/typed. I am very confused how you find TS3 to be that way.

If anything many of the folks who do not participate on teamspeak want this alliance for whatever reason. But the SoR WvW community will not accept such a thing. Nor let it happen.

They aren’t as bad as he made them sound. I’ve jumped in on Fridays and Saturdays and gotten in within 10 minutes. Usually, our home borderland has a longer queue, but most don’t. This is also strictly at reset, most other times queues are practically non-existant.

Only day you will have que problems is the day of reset. Depending on what guilds are where that day usually. The rest of the week you won’t ever have que problems. Having a full que on reset is pretty much mandatory no matter what server you are on.

But most of the que’s are never full. Expect one or two on reset.

How do que times look. Also on pve days how active is wvW with your guild? Next voip. What do you use and how active is it on it on weekends and weekdays? Maturity is a big thing to both of us are mid to late twenties and enjoy being sociable just wondering mainly I guess the average age.

On reset que’s can be from 20 mins – a few hours. Daily though they aren’t bad. We are looking to expand out Oceanic/Night crew a good bit. We are a WvW guild so we are all in a BL daily. Our PvE events are just mainly for gearing up players and obviously it is not mandatory to attend all events.

We use the SoR WvW TS3. It’s a community Teamspeak devoted for WvW and any guild that wishes to be apart of it. TS3 is a requirement while in WvW so you must be on while you are WvWing. So basically during events 40-50 members. Daily we usually have 20-30 depending on the day.

Most of our guild is in/near your age range. We all love to play WvW and we strive to become the best WvW guild out there. That requires maturity, tactics, communication and teamwork. Which we do perfectly as a guild.

You also are required to rep 100% while in WvW. If you wish to join you are also asked to apply on our website before we accept you. If your application is accepted you will be invited into the guild.

Are main daily play hours are 9-10pm east to 4ish am east. We do play during the day as well if off or depending on work schedule. Around those hours what sort of wvw population does both your guilds have. How many players daily on at those hours on the weekdays and weekends

We usually have our guild events running from 8pm EST – 6am EST or longer depending. We also field about 40-50 members each guild event. We do events nearly every other day along with PvE events on off days so we can get our members geared up for WvW. We have been considered the best guild on SoR arguably. We would love to have you both in our guild!

Our guild also has some of the most well known commanders/players on the battlefield daily. We are diehard WvW players and have a great community here in SoR and our guild!

We are not going to pull out of TC BL and fight BG on two fronts. That would be a disservice to a quality opponent. If BG blows us out so be it, they earned their shot at Tier 1 weeks ago.

You got the right to do whatever you want, ofcourse.

But the result is very, very simple: you are fighting one enemy with half your force and another enemy with the other half. Instead of fighting one enemy with your whole force.

The result can be seen in the score: BG wins 33,000 ranking points and SoR looses 27,000 ranking points. This result will stay that way untill we fight differently.

A lot of SoR is still on vacation/break. I’m sure TC is having the same issue as well. We have been playing with 50-75% less of our usual forces this week and the score shows it.

I’ve been pretty sick as well so I haven’t really been able to duke it out on the battlefield.

But do not forget this game is still very new and this type of game play/style is a lot different compared to GW1. Overtime the game will just get better along with mechanics in WvW/sPvP. Just give them some time to get their ducks in a row.

You can’t expect to have everything fixed in a blink of an eye.

SoR has the strongest NA prime-time out there. Literally nobody can match up against it.

I think the general consensus from what I can tell with the SoR peeps is that they are becoming a better server competing with BG without having anything nearly close to their coverage.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Obviously it sounds rather biased coming for a player on the server, but I have noticed a HUGE change in how the server players WvW as a whole. It’s been very cool to see how SoR has evolved and gotten up to T2 and been up here for quite a long time.

From Sea of Sorrows i would reccomend Sanctum of Rall, they have arguably the strongest NA presence out of any server which means that Sanctum of Ralls strongest presence is stronger then any other servers, and they have great tactics and fighting spirit.

The folks over here have pure dedication and it shows. We never get up no matter what the score is, or what place we are in. You will always see SOR in nearly the same numbers each and everyday. Our tactic’s along with guild organization and coordination is what makes us such a threat to everyone we play against.

If you are looking for a server that NEVER GIVES UP and has the experienced players to prove we ARE a top server. Then I advise you to join Sanctum of Rall.

Now that I’m awake again, I wanted to tell SoR wow! You guys have an amazing NA primetime push. The coordination between guilds is amazing and readily obvious. It’s most impressive because despite the points lost overnight, you guys have been doing this for weeks on end. I have no doubt that if you guys keep up with what you are doing, sooner or later the kitten will break and you guys will win.

Toasties can learn alot from that perseverence. Even if you can’t win the war, yet, you win the battle in front of you over and over again until the enemy shows a weakness, then you strike. Lets hope we are all ready should BG’s overnight crew ever show a weakness ;P

I agree. Killing people can benefit your server a lot actually. Such as picking off players who are running to defend a tower/keep. The small stuff is what helps the most believe it or not!

WvW is supposed to be PvP. We don’t need PvE in a PvP game mode. Go do dungeons for ascended gear if you want it so bad!

I cant speak for other timezones but when i play eu evenings with my guild u guys out number us around 3-1 sometimes and u still die most of the time, Especially TC u guys got crazy numbers but loads of sub 80s. I meen today we held SoR’s keep in eb for hours.

Yes. We have a server-wide teamspeak that is used for ANY and ALL guilds that wish to be apart of it. On the server of course :P

Our current match-up against BG and TC. For the first 5 days it was a consistent flux of who was in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Until the holidays started to hit and people started working once again and all that good stuff.

Either way it has been a blast playing against both servers.

What I think big SoR guilds like Pain Train and Tempest Wolves should consider is that all their NA primetime work could be put to much more productive use on a server that has the overnight coverage their current server lacks.

Transfer over and make Blackgate even stronger.

LOL! That will never happen. TW and Choo have no respect for and violently dislikes BG. According to the outspoken members that post on this forum anyways. To them, BG is just a big unskilled zerg that has to resort to cheating to win, and guilds that transfer to BG are just jumping on the zergwagon. Also, if BG ever sees T1 again, it will be because a T1 server flopped, not because BG was good enough to get there. Lots of hate over there in certain parts of SoRland.

You can’t account one persons input and make it the WHOLE input of the server/guilds that you list. We have respect for all our opponents and enjoy fighting on the battlefield. But to my knowledge will say that from what it seems Choo will not be moving anytime soon or ever! Then again I am just a member of the guild anyway.

Obviously we have “hatred” towards our enemies on the battlefield. Forums are forums and you will always have trolls or people looking for attention. I don’t really understand why people get so uptight and think it’s how the whole server acts.

Maybe it’s just me but I think for the money you pay for the amount of the gems you get compared to gold sellers it never seems to be worth it. You can buy 100g for $30.00 from a gold selling website from a mail I just received advertising their site. If they want people to buy gems I would think they would be a bit more reasonable and give more gold per 100 gems and so forth.

I’d also like to say they should give suspension to players who purchase gold rather than just flat out ban them. Giving them a 7-day slap on the wrist would do a lot more good than banning them and having them never play the game again. Along with spreading bad rumors about the game and such.

Just my two cents.
