Staff ele is far better for group support than D/D, but unfortunately you have to basically be a full support class and dedicate yourself to nothing but popping clutch heal blasts and AOE cc / fonting downeds. Not a lot of badges involved in it, and it gets old.

So about 15 TC just rolled through a supply camp.

8 of them are d/d ele’s

thats more than 50% running flavor of the month D/D ele’s.

Step 3: Summon thieves guild, walk over to a corner, type /sit, watch the thieves guild DPS the lowbie and scorpion wire him back when they try to run.

Last week, here on CD while stomping Maguuma we would always make sure to note that their server seems to have a shocking over abundance of thieves, mesmers and d/d ele’s.

Everyfight you would see their “amazing” thieves and d/d ele’s zipping around and quickly getting stomped by our warriors and guardians.

Maybe your poor perception on value in WvW is the reason we stomped you guys into the dirt for 3 weeks straight?

TC got a few transfers after the time that we beat them. Being the RP server, all of the rp’ers will always be trying to get a spot in TC. CD on the other hand has had a huge amount of PVE’ers, since we were known as the unofficial PVE server. Luckily though this last week we had some spots open up and have had a few guilds transfer over, so now we are finally back to where we used to be population wise. That is why the fight is so much more fun this time then the last time they destroyed us.

All we have is numbers. I may troll a bit, but our non-guilded people are some of the most frustrating people to try and fight with. They do some really REALLY stupid things, even if the good commanders tell them to do the opposite. It’s one thing to not know the mechanics of the game or best siege placement – everybody starts somewhere. But it is another thing to actively ignore what your commanders tell you and then get pissy when the treb you built within cannon range gets owned before it gets built.

The fact is that most of CD is actually really bad. We have a few really good, organized guilds but our zerglings are the calibre of player that shouldn’t be above tier 5. Our zerglings are the type of people who stand still in a spot without watching their surroundings only to get jumped by a supply drop and a DPS bomb

And yes sometimes we can put out a 60 man zerg at 6 AM. We have a few groups rolling multiple battlegrounds, but eventually they will all converge on 1 BG after the rest are capped and there will be 60 people easy (I even have the screenshots to prove it).

If any of our bg’s don’t have a decent presence from any of the main guilds then that BG will lose every single keep – and quickly.

Yes, KH was on top of things – until we all got tired, went to mendons with golems, sat in oil and then sat in cannon range. We were all literally just sitting there, too tired to function and didn’t even know what was going on.

Agreed first and foremost. I don’t agree that that another player from CD should not bash on a commander from his server especially. If you dislike him just don’t follow him and ignore, don’t publicly bash him, it makes you look really bad. If people follow him they must either (a) be having fun, or (b) doing a good job.

U r 2 srs here. Commanders don’t earn this place on the field by experience. They just buy an icon. I don’t think anyone cares or looks down at another server that openly flogs a bad commander.

Yes they buy their icons, but people should know by know who is a good commander and who is bad. Choose accordingly unless he is your only commander in your server.

We’ve lost too many people to really compete in T3 anymore. Unless our PvE population decides to start doing WvW or we gain transfers, T4 is the best place for CD.

Not to mention TC and YB hate us for killing them in the JP so much, so even if we do get back into T3 they will just make sure we are pushed out the next week.

Thanks to all CD players up top in puzzle today for letting me stay alive up top to knock about 15~ people off, I was laughing so hard everytime.

I knocked off about 15 people and killed around 20 or so, took about 8 SS at various points. I was able to get stealth over and over, only 3 of them actually went after me each time Id go back to stealth and I finished all of them. If all people up there actually went after me Id have only knocked off 2-3 guys at best.

The sad part is, when we were up against Tarnished Coast all they did was complain about how much CD camped the Jump Puzzle. So this week we let people live and look what happens…..

Pretty sure I heard tons of CD were camping Ehmry in the JP a few days ago, so yeah. Don’t get too excited about that.

Yes, because it’s not like a bunch of Ehmry bay camp your JP everyday. Oh wait they do!

And they can’t win regular fights so they have to sit underneath the waterfull and pick off people after the fall.

Always see people from “Madcast gaming” camping hard, but never see them in actual WvW.

Problem is that we decided to blow all of this siege inside the garrison, and then we took DB but ignored all of the supply / yaks / siege needed their in order to bash our heads on a fully upgraded SH.

So after we lose that quickly, we had no upgrades in DB, 0 supply and no camps and had to scramble to save it while EB and Maguuma take turns sniping our supply and our yaks.

We try to gain too much ground with the zerg too fast and ignore everything we have, so they can easily take it all back and keep us in emergency mode..

Maguuma really stepping up their game in our borderlands today, while our unfortunate zerg commanders used all of the Garrison supply to build failure golems instead of actual in keep defense and then threw bodies at Cragtop instead of using siege properly. Scary day for us.

Had there been any EB joining in the fight we surely would have lost everything.

I have never seen more than a few GOONS making up a small portion of the Maguuma force, so I still do not know why people are still talking about you guys as if you are some giant all encompassing zerg.

In fairness keeping such a well orgaanized group of 30 in Dawns was a waste of potential and we were all too glad for yall to stay there. Instead of causing havoc across the BL we were down 1 tower for 4 point ticks.

You guys might not have to worry about it because of your lead, but Ehmry is still fighting for points, even if it costs us our lives. At least after the 1st few wipes when everyone else realized it wasn’t just a fluke. (I literally had some of the people griping stand back and watch the next charge out from the cliff to make them stop. They were impressed and it was easy to make them stop then haha.)

We only had 14 of us and 2 puggers for the majority of the night. We only hit about 20 after you guys had already wised up to what we were doing. We mostly just wanted to take our new guildmates out for a bit of fun and to practice our man on man combat – which is why we did not build any superior siege and did not build anymore after it went down. We wanted you to succeed You guys came real close on one charge, but we barely inched it out and were able to push back out and destroy that catapult.

We didn’t want to group up and roll your BL because PVDoor gets boring.. Also with all of the trash talk from Maguuma, honestly a lot of us want to see them lose. They are even more disrespectful to you guys than we are, and we are straight up trolls! That says a lot.

Some definite fun was had at Dawn’s Eyrie in EB Borderland tonight.

This might be a shock to you, but Mag really doesn’t care about Ebay at all. How often have we even been in your BL this match up? Pretty much never. Supply flippers sure, but that’s as minimal a force gets in WvW. Now the opposite. Well Ebay is in Mag’s BL, in force, every single day.

Ya’ll Ebayers need to get over it.

Everytime I see mag take a foothold in EB you guys get destroyed within minutes. Do not act like you are not fighting EB out of choice – you tried and failed, and now because you are an easy target everyone is picking on you, and rightfully so.

Haha, the numbers more were equal for awhile, but I think a lot of CD elsewhere. Heck, you guys had 20+ people raiding our north supply camp that we wiped and at some point assaulted east keep and built catapult after catapult that we kept killing.

Honestly I am just doing a bit of trolling and seeing which guys take the bait. We have actually had a lot of good fights with both Ehmry bay and Maguuma and actually have a fair amount of respect for you guys, and have had some great fights with a few select groups of you who really surprised us. Yes CD has a very large PVdoor squad, and while we have gotten a few select NA guilds to start padding out our NA primetime, we are still weak then. We have the Oceanic presence of a T3-T2 server but a NA presence down here at T4 (and sometimes it feels like T5). Sometimes we really do feel bad when we PVdoor everything down and have nothing left to do, because my guild really likes open field combat and trying to practice against good defensive squads.

We have a few very organized guilds, but our pugs really are of the zerg mentality and we try to teach them “the way”s, but the zerg does what it must.

Exactly, everytime we went Mag BL, nobody was around to defend your keep. We could even take it with just 6 people. Is that what we should expect for “very organized” world as you claimed? And it felt very differently when we went to EBay. Oh..and cry more.

We are not very organized. Not compared to the T1 and T2 servers. But i can see that we are at least 3x more organized than you guys, the only thing you guys know is to create a single huge zerg and hop from BL to BL with that single zerg while we take everything else from you. Your players lack individual skill as well. Took like 10 people to wipe 30 maguuma guys on EB this morning.

Maguuma doesn’t even deserve to be in tier 4

We managed to group up and take out a fully defended, fully upgraded and fully sieged out Maguuma Garrison using cross-guild coordination. You can cry all you want, but when my guild rolls into your BL or any where else we destroy you even with lesser numbers. You can sit here and say that we are bad, but we destroy you even without a zerg. Your organizational skills are not amazing, or even competent – you cannot even defend your own borderland even when you do have the numbers.

I do not know why you guys think you are so good while you continually sit so low in the tier rankings. If people thought you were good they would have transfered to your server after you “stomp them” with your superior organizational skills.

There is a reason why your borderland has been the place to go for free points. We rolled in there with a group of 10 and rolled out with an easy keep cap.

Keep up the charade, we will keep farming those easy points.

Try fighting them when they are at the top of their transfer game instead of when the ball just starts rolling down there at the bottom.

You call us a zerg server because we can populate 1 battleground at night, but those higher tier servers will have queues on atleast 2 borderlands at once throughout the day.

I’m noticing this on multiple occasions and times, it’s not a one time thing. CD is not hitting EBay as hard as Mag and vice versa. You keep quoting “zerg” server, do you honestly believe your oceanic presence is not a zerg? Because many CD players have already come to terms with this.

I will admit to being a zerg server when you admit to being a bad server. The ball is in your court.

And if you don’t want us to hit you as hard as EB, then maybe you should try defending your homeland half as well as they do – it’s much easier just to walk into your BG and walk out with a ton of karma than it is in theirs.

One day some of you might fight a real zerg server and see what it’s like to fight a server that actually has queue’s.

When me and my crew played last night we actually wiped all of Ehmry first – every keep and camp. When then took who we had left to Maguuma. And you can say that we are a “zerg” server, but we actually had all 3 borderlands empty out into the same time into Maguuma borderlands because someone went there to mention that we were going to wipe it – so I guess we kind of did turn into a zerg.

But a zerg server would have failed taking the garrison, we are atleast somewhat organized! Right? :S

We’ve been popping superior siege all day – you must not notice because your keeps fall to fast.

You can say that we have a lot of people, but my guild has been taking objectives against far superior numbers all day, as well as beating you guys in open field combat until you show up with 45 man zergs (and spam laugh ofcourse).

I’m sorry, but Maguuma is probably the best organized, best comradery server there is. We just lack a force during Euro/Asian prime-time. During US prime time we beat you just fine. I love my server. I am still allowed to express a distaste for the #s game.

We had people shooting through the walls killing siege. Yeah, gg. We held it anyway. It wasn’t until later on in the night that we finally lost it. It had no wp in it, with both CD and EB attacking, but our guys still got in, rezzed keeper, wiped bridge siege, rebuilt our siege. No, I don’t want to leave the server.

You did not hold your keep, all you did was hold the lord room which is the easiest defensive position to hold in this entire game. A 10 man group can hold off a 70 man zerg in that room if they have a few pieces of seige and a guardian.

We let your remaining force go off to defend redbriar and we ninja’d your keep – if you had superior tactics and organization then we would have seen all of your remaining force move north to defend – but all we saw was you. And we promptly killed you and your keep.

You can hold one keep in primetime all you want and think it makes you superior, but we held the rest of the map and the over all point advantage. If you were as good as you say you would have held that keep all night and all morning with a skeleton crew like SOR did against us when we fought them – instead you gave it up without a fight.

Rectum rumpled EBay trash. How does it feel to have never won a matchup based on anything but population and timezone games? Low overall skill level + tons of people + no coordination = unwarranted self importance to the extreme. You’ll never be more than tier 4, and probably won’t even stay there. P.S. Tell your [TTD] recruiters to get out of our Lion’s Arch. Maguuma players are too skilled to want an EB guild, where they’ll get stuck on a zero coordination server populated almost entirely by bandwagoning pubs.

I think I noticed around 1.5x the damage, which is actually very balanced – 2x the damage would not be balanced at all. Paying twice the seige for a 50% damage buff is a small price, since siege is free.

Quit crying, babies. It has only been a half hour, not an hour.

CD – we camp jumping puzzles like its our job.

CD never had Titan Alliance. A lot of it is due to transfers. A lot of our PVP’ers transfered out, while the server remains full because of all of the PVE’ers so nobody can transfer in.

We don’t have any guilds that want to claim / upgrade / defend our keeps in our own BG (except Kwisatz Haderach), so we just have people going back and forth between CD and EB reclaiming the empty keeps they lost.
