We could’ve held the map if we chose to. But doing that will slow DR in racking points, thus another week of DR/Kain/FC holding hands, and we wouldn’t want that now, do we?

Ferg – if you could have held it you would have, stop making excuses. You had the numbers in there last night but your skirmish strats wont work unless you get to pick the time and place of the fights. And if the “major” guilds on Ferg “agreed” to let DR have it, well bro there was sure a heck of a lot of the same guild tags ive been seeing repeatedly in Wv3 still in the fight. Didnt see a change in Ferg defenses last night vs any other night.

I so love how both Ferg/Kain has found an amazing way to rationalize their loss for 10 weeks straight. It boiled down to “we let DR win”. Well let me tell ya what I think:
- if Ferg could have won – it would have
- if Kain could have won – it would have
- 9 weeks ago in the first matchup for domination Kain stood a solid chance to take/hold the coveted #1 position, but couldnt come together as a team
- 4 weeks ago Ferg could have dominated 2nd place, again no teamwork as a server

Both of you can post your grumpy threads on coulda/woulda/shoulda/if i wanna…but the truth is you both were beat. And not recently, you were both beat 9 weeks ago when it all started, ie: before the populations were out of balance. (agree that Ferg did have a slight disadvantage, but not so much it couldnt have been overcome)

All through the thread both servers have stated you’re not letting DR move up…well what happened there? Kain had an awesome shot at #2 which would have led to a tier move shortly after DR…but instead of widening the gap with Ferg, they chose instead to pretty much focus all fights toward DR. Ferg, on getting those mass transfers in that boosted your population to more than Kain, again could have widened the gap, took 2nd and held it. Instead, focused on DR and small group skirmishes in lieu of server progression. You blame DR for everything, and try to puff up small group fighting into some kind of Wv3 domination. Well maties, check the score over the last 10 weeks: domination is 10 weeks of winning, anything other than a week win equates to “primetime” gaming at it’s best, ie: great in the moment but meaningless in the bigger picture.

So stop the hate. You both lost, deal with it. Tons of folks on DR have been giving almost continual props to both of you, yet the majority of post from you have been negative towards DR. Stop the whining and QQnd and excuse making…fix it and move up, or enjoy the bottom tier and watch as you continue to lose more and more gamers. (or pray you get upper tier guild transfers as you obviously cant move up on your own)

DR – AWESOME JOB and well deserved regardless of what Ferg/Kain thinks as its just jealousy typing
Kain – I’m still rooting for you! Even with the loss of some major guilds in Wv3 you’ve still fielded some darn good fights. I’d almost say your Wv3 stepped up after the loss of the guilds in my opinion. (SoS — help Kaineng!)
Ferg – Chris/Np nice work on helping build framework for Ferg progressing. Hope it continues and does a mirror image of DR on moving upward in tier.

To all the gamers who gave it their best, props and respect to you all. To all those that continuously posted excuses…well, made me laugh at your pitifulness.

The last 10 weeks? Exaggerating much? There have only been 7 weeks of loss for Kaineng since Week 42: From 2012-10-13 to 2012-10-19, arguably our proudest moment.

I for one am not going to miss your chest-beating, exaggerating, and gloating. It is pretty audacious of you to call FC’s bullkitten when you are a consummate bullkitten artist. Remember how DR “chooses” who will come 2nd and 3rd each week? How’s that working out?

The people on FC/Kaineng (not to mention DR) might have stopped caring about your BS, but those in the next tier up won’t be so used to it.

I hadn’t actually read Drednyte’s latest, well you know what it is (mostly because I knew what it would be), but, ya, this^ Also, “mass transfers?” NP’s active WvW population replaced maybe 15% of the main guilds who all left (while your numbers were multiplying). We haven’t been able to match your population in one BL with our entire WvW population since they all left, hence the non-existent que times for us, EVER. And if you think the last two nights’ “defense” was no different than any other’s you really are delusional. I know you like to ignore facts and live in your own little universe, but try to remember where you are in reality.

On behalf of myself and the other few EDGE members, we’d like to say farewell to Kaineng and Ferg. We’ve enjoyed our roaming fights quite a lot and had plenty of fun with it. I myself have built myself up a rivalry with Envy members over the past week and they’re always great fun to fight, and will be sorely missed. So with that, we wish you both best of luck in the next matchup and enjoy the fresh air from a new opponent. We do hope you remember the good part of DR that isn’t full of empty boasts and excuses. Anyways, farewell, we shall meet again!

Np = Fergs version of SoS, ie: soon as they hit any type of opposition they crumble and run off to PvDoor or map hop to PvDoor. I say this from experience as watching them die repeatedly at Fergs Hills when defended by 9-10 DR folks, was almost picture perfect duplicate of SoS on Kains BL.

Sorry if I wasn’t as specific as you need, was saying the fight in fergs, to take garrison was long, 2 hours I was there. The point I was making was that it wasn’t 1 big zerg, hitting 1 gate. And also later in my comment I did point out people targeting DR with every little thing, and this is a prime example of what your are doing. I never said you weren’t coordinated taking our fully upgraded garrison, that is putting words in people’s mouths, I wasn’t there for that, so how could I comment on it?

I was referring to your coordination during that event. And, yes, you did have enough people to attack everywhere while we focused on Hills, the one place we knew we could keep, and still be able to rush through Garrison in about 3 minutes. You may have done so smartly (though whether or not it was on purpose, who knows), but against larger numbers it isn’t such a viable strategy, since they could actually fight you in the lord’s room, not to mention in more than one borderlands. And don’t cry about being picked on when I point out your fallacies.

Yea, taking fergs garrison last night was long and hard, but fun. The thing I liked most was watching 3 different commanders attacking from 3 different sides. It was like a race to see who could get to the lords room first. It displayed to me strategy and coordination, you know, that thing that doesn’t exist in DR right? What was also funny this is what Kain and Fergs been screaming for, but none even commented about it when I logged on this morning. Was a good defense Fergs, props, and also to DR’s who participated.

Just my opinion, keep up the good fights.

Had fun at Redvale camp in Kain’s borderlands tonight. Fought Envy quite a few times and random Kains that came by. Finally got booted out when the Kain zerg came by :[ Either way, whoever the Envy mesmer I fought was, much respect to you.

It’s really been ridiculous since that patch. I’m not sure why whatever got screwed up still hasn’t just been reversed, but I can’t even play WvW without lagging completely out of the game at least a couple times.

I didn’t say the argument wasn’t a valid one. I said it means I don’t have to listen to a single thing you have to say, because it’s all an opinion. You’ve never run from us, because you’re always in a group (well, excepting running TO the group) that way outnumbers us. That doesn’t mean we haven’t killed some of you on your way away from us when your initial numbers matched ours. I’ve also never had a problem with mesmers rendering, especially ones like mine that don’t stealth much, and thieves can be targeted with tab even before they fully render.

We absolutely farm Bsty and ENVY never leaves a 500 foot radius of the zerg. We will beat any group at 2-1 odds guaranteed. Not bragging, just stating facts.

Haha. We’ve only run with (mostly led) a few zergs in about the past week because we have a couple commanders and all we’ve been fighting is zergs. We also don’t lose to LARP, as far as I can remember. Fun fights though. Just wish we saw more of you.

We’ve never really had a fight out in the open with somewhat even numbers. We’ve killed some of your guys and you’ve gotten some of us but it has never been on terms that I would come here to brag about.

That wasn’t my intention, but the beating us 2-1 thing was a little too arrogant to ignore. Now can everyone just CALM THE SMURF DOWN? :P

It’s why i know your guild runs good small man groups, because you’re out there on the field with first hand encounters, so don’t change and come here to brag.

Also if you took it as i felt that you would get totally destroyed by NoQQ, don’t because i feel it would be a good match up regardless, just saying i would bid my money on them, but maybe that’s just being biased.

So because I have the first-hand experience to correct you, my opinion is bragging? I would call it more informed.

If you would’ve just said you have beaten them on most occasions or such it wouldn’t seem that way, but the way i read your statement it seems a little boastful saying they don’t even come close.

That was an effort to clear up all the smoke they’ve been blowing. I was disappointed when I finally saw them.

You are a little off.

Devona isnt putting any effort in attacking your BL either, thus you could upgrade it to maximum.

I am inclined to disagree here. Being from DR, I can attest to the fact that Ferg has done an incredible job defending their borderlands from invaders. DR has attacked and Ferg responded multiple times. Granted, I feel like the general feeling on DR is to beat K into dust now. That bout of bad blood in this thread has settled in and many members of DR have taken the gloves off.

Fergs in-house communication must be amazing. AMAZING! and I don’t mean the kind of amazing that consists of A-team thinking they are the stars of the show and require their fannies to be polished. They respond pretty fast and with good numbers. The defense of Ferg is something that should be remembered. Look at their southern keeps and the Eyes crawling around the southern edge of the map. They came into this week with what appears to be a server wide plan, and stuck to it. Their efforts and team work are to be applauded and more importantly: Learned from.

They deserve some recognition.

I want to invade Ferg because I think that’s where you are going to get the best fights atm. Now I wonder how long it will be before K shows it’s true colors and attempts to invade Ferg at the same time as DR to weasel out of dead last.

Kain has no real choice but to attack ferg at this point to attempt to get second, which is mostly entirely upgraded thanks to almost a week of being ignored (except for yesterday as you guys decided to rip one of the keeps from ferg). So we probably wont try, and instead do what we do best is make a meatgrinder out of something, and cheer in victory at the hundreds of lootbags dropping at my feet.

Lol at “a week of being ignored.” That post about fighting an army of never-ending zombies is more like what was happening there most of the time. We just stay in our BL and actually upgrade as soon as possible (BTW, thank you to Chris, for spending so much on that).

FYI to DR and FC – We (Kaineng) have a botting issue just East of our spawn on the DR map. 6 bots killing the sharks over and over again. I have whispered a few of your guys to go gettum but this post might be more effective. Please kill them repeatedly as I cannot.

Besides, I am too occupied killing the DR bots up north near the spiders (on DR Borderlands map) and the Ferg bots in the lake (on the Ferg Borderlands map) even if I DID have the ability to kill toons on my own server.

As an aside – please report the accounts just prior to farming them for badges. I know that it feels a LOT like relieving yourself into a strong headwind but I still hold out hope that someone at Anet will eventually address this issue.

I think our tactics are working. DR spawn block in Ferg’s lasted over an hour this morning while being outnumbered the whole time. I was the annoying mesmer in front.

This (as long as rezzing after dead is still possible), maybe the door thing, and making WvW ratings only based on the current week’s score are the only things that need changing. Also, having gear types with vit/tough/and something other than power would make it a lot more possible for all classes to compete more evenly.

Well shucks… I got my kitten handed to me last night! 95% it was by a larger force (which in fairness is all I attack) but there were some skilled players out there that gave me what-for in some smaller skirmishes. One [WAR] ranger and [Sos] engineer i fought 2v1 was also a good fight I lost but the Ranger would have made for a great 1v1 and give me a run for my money! [Btsy] got me a bunch of times while harassing the Devona’s and Kain zergs. The dudes won’t fight even if they outnumber you but they sure do show up the moment you’re otherwise disposed and the scales are wildly in their favor. Some would call it absolute cowardice and lack of skill to use a pure glass cannon heartseeker spec and only fight weakened opponents, but I guess that’s the point they’re going for. They ARE “thieves” after all, so i’ll take these buggers a little more seriously next time and take my lunch money back. #Slightlybutthurt hahah

Also, last night I saw some 1v1 dueling start up with [WAR], [ENVY], and myself that was some good fun. I’d love to see more of that! I’d be willing to put 50silver wagers (or any wager really) on the outcomes of the fights of anyone willing to challenge me to a duel. Lets turn the orchard into 1v1 arena gametime for greed and glory!

No, don’t think that was me, I would’ve remembered a fight like that.

I did however have an epic fight with one of you ENVY mesmers a week or so back that lasted for a good 3 or 4 minutes, starting at the south east supply camp goin all the way back to your spawn. Unfortunately 2 of my fellow Kainengs added so you, if it was you, had to retreat into safety and we never got to finish it. That was the best 1v1 I’ve had so far in WvW so was really sad it got interrupted.

Hmm, that WAS me :o I had that other fight right before that though, so I wonder if you have another ele with a lot of skill too… I was actually just waiting for whoever it was to show up again before I got off. Also, those two died very quickly after you left

So far only one ele from iGod and a few players in Bsty have had decent enough players to catch my attention, with the Bsty players only doing well when they worked together. After a while, though, they were using the spawn for cover. So sad. Have to go after zergs to get good fights most of the time :/

iGod is now LARP and will probably be something else in the near future.

Thanks for the recognition and I’ll return it by saying that I have noticed ENVY, fighting most of (especially a certain mesmer) you guys is a challenge.

Lol, thanks tornsoul. It is fun, though. Sometimes we’ll just sit back and watch eachother take on 2 or 3. In points, you are right about zergs ftw, lol, but we don’t expect to be making a big impact on the score with 2 of us on at a time, so we usually just hunt you guys down when you’re in only relatively huge numbers

@thenoobler: Balidore is extremely good, on his mesmer and thief (I can 1v1 him either way in sPvP though). Only reason you probably didn’t notice me is because I was on a level 12 most of that night. Anyways, when I’m on my mesmer, we’ve been able to kill around 7 at a time. Actually one Kaineng zerg was so bad we ninja’d a tower next to their spawn from around 15 of them with only a few less-than-useful people following us and held it for around a half-hour until their numbers doubled, all the while outside the wall racking up badges.
