Tokens should be made into a Karma-Like currency which can be spendable at any dungeon vendor, regardless of dungeon. This being said, each given dungeon vendor should unlock after you’ve completed all explorables for that dungeon to require you to go through the different content rather than farming the easy run ad nauseum. Yes, this would allow for your CoF points to go to AC items or HoW items or what-have-you. Variety is my anti-grind.

As is, the only reason people go and do the same dungeons over and over again is the tokens.. so they can get their dungeon gear.. They grind it out.

Frankly, would be much more fun if there was a Dungeon Karma system. All dungeons provide dungeon karma which can be used to purchase any of the dungeon gear. Would let people explore and enjoy the various other dungeons and paths rather than farming the same one about 60 times or so.

I think the is the first time that I’ve heard anyone describe dungeons as both easy and rewarding.

The achievements are not meant to be collected exclusively by one character, otherwise the Weapon Mastery tab would be uncompletable as there are weapons listed that you will not have access to with your given profession. In addition to that, on the Explorer tab you have tracks for the first 30 levels of personal story for each of the races.

Dandyslayer just summed up most of my thoughts on Dungeons in general at the moment in this particular thread. A unified currency for all dungeons that requires all of a dungeon’s paths to have been cleared before unlocking the vendor is absolutely superb. It would free up choice for the players that want to go out and explore, and functionally changes little to nothing for those that are already content with farming the easy paths. It also puts it in line with the concept of Karma, in that everything you do gets you points that you spend on what you want. I’m all for dungeon karma replacing the existing token system.

While I also had this issue and thought the Trebuchets were bugged – not knowing about the push and hold mechanic regarding them – I was still able to continue by actually swimming to the dead ship and attacking it with underwater weaponry.

multiple topics exist about this quest being bugged. Has also appeared multiple times in the update notes as having been fixed, including the most recent patch notes… So absurd..

While I as a player wouldn’t mind this, there are fees fora reason on these waypoints – they’re designed specifically to keep players from getting too rich too quickly. Its one of the many ways of taking money back out of the system to help prevent inflation. Nobody wants a useless currency – by taking money back out of the system they can help to prevent this from happening. As much as I personally might dislike having to pay, it is a good feature that works well.

I disagree, considering that with double exotic weapons and a full set of yellows I one shot mobs with the first part of my number 1 skill in low level zones, veterans are a breeze and I can almost solo champions. Of course that’s slightly different in a dungeon, but dungeons aren’t a matter of dealing the most damage its more of a matter of control the mobs with CC.

The issue of boons, items, and stat scaling based upon areas is hardly helped by you saying “Pfft, its still easy for me.” TC brings up valid issues, and while you might hand wave them they are still relevant.

When you consider that some of the Hall of Monument items have several skins.. The Diadem and Heritage Helmets for instance. Swap back and forth ad infinitum to max the track.. just silly.
