Laidari is too much overpowered. Wasted ~70 tickets, 10g and all festival tokens to get absolutely NOTHING from her. She needs to cripple less, have 2 at max inv buffs and spam less red fields. HP nerf would be welcomed as well.

I am trying to kill her for 2 days already and Im seriously out of patience for this game.. aNET please do something about this. Thanks.

Running Berserker doesn’t determine your playstyle so you cannot tire of a gearset. Your gear only dictates your player capability (i.e. how well you dodge and how much damage to soak up/forgiveness of mistakes).

It sounds like you’re tired of a your particular weapon set. Change that up, what were you running and what weapon would you like to use? If you answer that, I can “prescribe” you a build. Do note that, obviously, if you turn to a condition based weapon you will need to change gear.

Mace/Sword + Shield and Longbow or Rifle as offhand.
Doing Axe + Mace instead of Long-ranged weapons in offhand would be cool too.

I would preffer to be some kind of tanky dps… so i can get ~55% surv and ~45% dps. If I can get this with zerk stats, cool! If not, lets make new build!?

Also, I would like to know what solider stats are best for. Thank you.

Is there any build which combines any DAMAGE with good DEFENSE? I aim at something like close combat + good defense?!

I am looking for PvE build, not WvW or PvP. Thanks!

This is thread I started with aim to drag developer’s attention onto current must-have game features which are not currently included in game or for unknown reason removed from it.

So, here is my personal opinion what should be found in upcoming patches:

- Traits switch option.
- Personality system(please, simply return it).
- Guild houses or halls.
- Dueling System in PvE.
- Inspect/view armor option in PvE.

If I remember something else which would be nice to see ingame, I will update this thread.

I think it will be really vise to write red-colored text on karma armor sets: NOT SALVAGABLE ; so people can know that its not salvagable armor. Personally me and probably more of us tried to salvage it and by doing that wasted huge amount of karma.

I would like to have trait builds in tabs so I can easily switch between them anytime, without need to reset them and then enter them again each time I go to wvw or simply want to switch my playstile for some time. I hope aNET will implement this in next patch

I noticed one very strange issue in this game. I have Superior Runes of Mad King inside my necromancer and each time I cast my ultimate(last) spell, pigeons attacks my target instead of ravens. Its said inside rune description that RAVENS attack, not pigeons.

This is really silly issue Can you please change texture into ravens? thanks!

I am having one small suggestion for arena net. I would like to see Guild Name change ticket around. I would pay for that honestly. Name of my guild is kinda dark and uncommon so I would like its change. I am probably not only one feeling this way, so I am suggesting you make a ticket for guild name change as you did for character name change.

I have one small suggestion for you aNET. Could you please make ascended accessory account bound? Since its really hard to obtain these for all characters, and in case someone is switching his/her main, it would be so much time consuming to totally gather all ascended accessories.

They are currently, as you know, soul bound. Howsoever, I think it would be nice to make them account bound.

Why not make item which will change one’s race BUT reset character creation choises, personal story and character, but keeping only items and stats?

You will simply have to re-do story if u wish.

I strongly support this idea and I wouldn’t mind to pay with real money if I have to, just to change my hero’s race.

Bro, I play necro since gw2 release and I was dissapointed with necro few times.

Okay, so, we often see a necromancer in pve/pvp(mostly) a necro running condition build. I have never seen pvp power of hybrid necro so far. If makes me ask myself why?
Are power/hybrid builds so bad comparing to conditions?

It feels like conditions and MM builds are all that is good and all rest is crap.
I for example, would like to go for power build but sadly I finish really in bad shape each time I try something new.

Please fix me if im wrong somewhere.

You mush have noticed so far all the anger that is coming from Necromancer sub-forum. We all are totally kitten ed of with sPvP changes you made this December 10th.

If you have already seen all player requests and posts from necromancer sub-forums then you might have some basic idea why are we making so huge rage.

In both cases, I strongly recommend you the following video:

It is made only for developers with purpose they can understand why most of us are angry and why most of think to stop playing GW2. Don’t worry, video doesn’t contain any speech of hate.

I was most honest at this post and I am posting here as reply with hope that this might change something and bring old playstyle back.

I agree, but we only want to make aNET pay attention to us. We want to make sure our voice is heared. We invest our time and money in this game, and we deserve to inform developers that they made huge mistakes previous patch. I don’t want to be blamed for my love toward necromancer and how it can’t be useful as other classes. I bough the game, I spend my time on it and I don’t want to feel like its all useless since my profession is bugged and lack of features. Simply, ANET, please understand us. Before you continue with any in game content, fix the professions & balance FIRST.

Played necro a lot, and it was my wvw main. But after they totally nerfed necro solo ability (roaming in wvw, dungeon capability, etc) I dropped it. I tried a few times coming back with different builds, but didn’t work out. Necro is truly death state now (pun intended).

I don’t think ANET have any plans for necromancer in the future at all.

ANET have no idea how much players are kitten ed off right now and how much hate we generate for this patch. I thought it couldn’t get worse, but theres probably more if they don’t consider applying our feedback. If they RIP this Necromancer subforum, I will probably quit playing GW2. I mean seriously, if they would go so far, who knows what could happend next with this game(Like 1hit – 1 kill?).

I agree with you guys. aNET have no idea what to do with necromancer class, all it does so far is ruining it more each time they release a patch.

I left sPvP and WvW and totally turned to PvE with my necro. There is no hope for necro in fields of gameplay except PvE.

Im currently leveling my elementalist and Im planning to make my lvl 80 warrior my main since I can’t relay on aNET anymore, they are starting to ruin game more and more…

Their “patch” made the following situation ingame: build > skill.
That sucks. I am deeply disappointed.

As you know, recently was released the December 10th patch. Much people started to complain about how balance was ruined, specially Necromancer players such as I am. I can say sPvP is completely ruined after the patch. Everything fell on “rock-paper-scissors” gameplay and this is what aNet said it will never happen.
I am deeply disappointed and I am honestly thinking about to leave the game.

It is seriously not fun anymore to get owned by counter builds, and not by skill..

WHY?

You must probably heard about popular Necromancer called Nemesis. He recently made a video with detailed patch note explanation and how it ruined necromancer class. If you haven’t seen this patch related video, I suggest you to watch it:

Please listen to us players aNet, don’t finish like blizzard! We need skill not better traits or gear…

I have few suggestions which most of us, hardcore games would agree on.

First of all, what I would really love to see is “Duel” option, in other word “1v1” while in PvE.

Now, I should add that new map only for PvP, available trough PvE would be really nice idea. Just entering it, and making some sort of “Guild Surviving mode”. I think it would be really fun

HOUSING! Oh yes, something AION had, I remember It would be awesome if guild could get their own castles or even houses

I would be pleased to get few moments of your time.

I found that Thiefs are really really squishy in sPvP, and I tried a tons of builds, including my own, and I couldn’t get promising result. Simply, their damage is not enough, but their HP is even worse. Really, too squishy. I am really sad because this, since Thief is type of my playstile and I avoid it only because of squisheness.

Also, I am really disappointed I couldn’t get my Scythe or Mad King title this Halloween!

I also bought Phantom’s Hood from Black Lion Shop and found out its not transmutable and only able to wear on town cloth, which I found really really unpleasant experience(and I would really love to get fix for this and be able to transmute).

It would be nice to make all items available to us, players, not to make them never-to-get-again.

I can only speak for WvW, but I run Nemesis’ ‘Fear is my Weapon’ build from pre-patch, but it’s still perfectly fine. It’s 0/30/20/0/20 for me, but I take Chilling Darkness and Focused Rituals in Curses (Terror as well of course) to help against zergs when we clash. With Plague + Well of Darkness, you can blind/chill a large number enemies very quickly, in addition with dropping a Spectral Wall behind them before leaping into the fray. I also use pure Rabid gear and with full stacks + Rare Veggie Pizza + Quality Tuning Crystal, I can get almost 2k Cond. Damage. I will be able to once I get the rest of my Ascended items.
It’s worked wonderfully for me, both offensively, but as Blood Red said, it’s also a godsend for defense. I truly do love it, and I don’t have to be a part of the OP Crying about Dumbfire.

Can you please share build full build with me and if you have some kind of tutorial for it?

Anyway, condition damage build is kinda strange to use after trait patch. Now, I’m trying to make right PvE/WvW Terrormancer build. However, all I did is copy/paste from “The Tormentor (Terrormancer Variation of “Death” (Overpowered post patch))” build and paste on PvE.

Any good PvE/WvW builds out there?

I was playing with my necromancer for so long, and I had so much fun and awesome time with it. However, I feel AoE skills under my profession is not cool enough. Arena Net is epic software company, you guys have most epic ideas! These AoE Circles just look too classic and undone. You can better than that! Why don’t you make some kind of star which reminds on pentagram or something like that, magical stuff, it would look so cool! You know, like star in shape of lines, added some text or something like that and that’s it! It would look more clean, more epic, more fun to see
