I have noticed that from most of Outfits packs available, once offer passed, didn’t return their outfit parts on the gem store.

For example, Crystal Arbiter Appearance Pack, Winter Solstice Appearance Pack and finally Bandit Sniper Appearance Pack.

Why are these oufits not released after bundle(pack) sale ends?

I don’t think many players care about charrs. Most of us are playing Humans, eventually Norns or Sylvaris. Playerbase that plays asuras and charrs is too low to care imo lol

The Silverwastes PvP reward track Carapace Armor Box now contains all pieces of Carapace armor instead of just the gloves.

Maybe no official effort has been made because the Devs don’t consider the Charr posture a problem but a part of the lore.

So its lore’s fault they produce items nobody will wear on charrs and by doing so they waste their money?

I am wondering when does ANET plan to update charr posture by making them stand more straight?

This has been frequently discussed over the years but no official effort was being made.

To remind, by doing this player base of charrs would raise and most of clipping issues would be solved.

This item is part of S1 and deserves to be available alongside other S1 items for Laurels+Gold.

Some people just have bad luck. Any bell curve is going to have folks on the kitten end as well as the blessed end.

I’ve personally gotten more ascended gear out of WvW rank ups than any other mode (though mostly worthless rings).

Then ANET should put me near most richest player to be its perfect opposite.

I hardly see myself using 4th or 5th skill at all, rarely 3rd. Why not rework these instead giving stupid weapon swap?

I don’t raid, but I feel like that would cheapen the rewards for raiding too much. I have a ton of laurels, but it seems too easy for me to just buy raid-specific rewards with them instead of having to raid, or do anything more challenging than simply waiting.

If they want to eventually introduce some alternatives, I’m open to that, but laurels seem too easy as an alternative to content that’s meant to be challenging.

Ascended armour was available long before raids, but is too expensive for most of people that dont have 6 hours per day to play.

I would like to buy magnetite shards via laurels, or at least ascended amour with them.

Why not make rounded map as option within settings like it was in beta?

I would like to have rounded map in this game, as this squared one irritates me for 4 years already ><

The code is there, it takes very little to implement this.

I would like to experience both 2v2 and 3v3 in GW2 as it has one of, if not the best combat system out there in MMOs.

5v5 is really boring. WvW is PvE in your eyes( source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LhvuomaJaY ) and too large to be considered Dueling Area.

Dueling option in PvE should be implemented as well, I see no reason why not to. Now that Colin is gone, there are a lot of new opportunities and room for improvement

In early beta there was no weapon swap. Players rebelled. Between that and preset tiny lists of utilities, the profession was boring and confined (it didn’t help that dwarf and demon were the only two legends ready at that point). They could have greatly expanded the utility pool, but that would have been much harder to balance. So they added weapon swap, making players super happy — just go back to the posts from that time to see the jubilation.

I like weapon swapping. It’s one reason I don’t enjoy Ele and Engie so much, I feel locked in. I like being able to swap out for different situations on the fly, or just to get more cooldowns ready. In some professions, constant weapon swapping is integral to play, not impractical.

I admit I’m only just now working on my first Revenant and he’s only in his 20’s. I haven’t yet unlocked enough to really feel out the use of various weapon sets, especially in conjunction with full legend and trait choice. But I did test the profession out in beta and I found the weapon swapping added a lot of choice. Too much, at the time, I had issues remembering which legend/weapon pair I was in at a given moment and tended to hit the wrong skill button a lot. That’s just my L2P the profession issue, though. It’s why I’m not insta-80’ing him, I am working my way into things. But even at this low level, weapon swap is helping a lot.

I understand you. Howsoever, Revenant has more than 2 invocations and nobody uses/plays them. This is serious issue Im afraid, aside swap concept.

I know this topic belongs more to revenant subforums than here but I figured out that by posting here I have more chance to get reply from ANET employee or at least someone who has influence at class development.

So wheres the problem with Revenant? EVERYWHERE.

Perhaps the biggest flaw and the only flaw here is the very basic mechanic of this class which went wrong somewhere between brainstorming and actual development.

- People are only playing Shiro and Glint. No other invocations used.

- SWAP weapon is completly unneeded. In fact, its unhealthy and has devestating effects on the class. It was designed with swaping invocations in mind instead of weapons(like elementalist is) but some1 got this dumb idea to implement weapon swap which caused nerfs of other skills.

What we got? Class unable to do anything yet has little of everything. Left hand – right pocket. I mean, who swaps weapons most of the time? nobody. Its inpractical.

Entire class feels like trying to wrtite with both left and right hand the same text at the same time on 2 different papers.

SOLUTION?

Remove weapon swap and get focused on invocation rotation like its meant to be. Balance it like that. Otherwise, it doesnt make any sense.

Make weapons worth. Revamp some skills such as of hammer and make them more playable!

May I know why is wallpaper section on official website is not updated over time? We lack like almost every wallpaper that came out with patches since 2013. Please update that section, I bet it wont take more than 10-15 min.

It might thou, when they realize people are not swapping weapons but rather invocations.

Lets face it – everything is about energy and shifting invocations. There is no need to swap weapons at all. In fight, all I need is to press F1 and Im ready to continue.

There is no purporse for weapon swap in this class. Fight showed whats practical and what not.

DH with good both close and long range damage, a lot of HP(survivability) and now perma stealth is something no game needs. Remove these runes from kitten game.

No wonder Collin quit, simple logical mistake is easily overlooked here.

Such DH can stay almost all the time in stealth. I mean come on, where is balance in that? I met one guy who didn’t died even once thanks to his perma stealth. IS THIS YOUR BALANCE ANET?

Oh my goodness ghost you crack me up. Anet gave us skyhammer and stronghold. Thats like the 4 year quota on new maps. I know i know what your thinking. $100 for GW2 and $100 for HOT and maybe 1-2 new maps and bring back some of the old ones for hot join but guess what this is anet saying for everything.

Its been 2 years now since this map has been removed from PvP. Many of us DID enjoyed and had serious fun. Since its been removed, I was waiting when it will come back, but I wasn’t surprised to know ANET made decision to completely remove it. I mean, why should I, its their custom to remove fine, working and fun content just to replace it with grind content instead!

Anywas, back to the topic. I was wondering if there are any plans to bring it back? I am tired of their excuses. PvP literal has 5(with Conquest included) and thats it. Lame.

Which you probably won’t be able to get, until you use your credit card to get that 400gold for core item, or super rare mats only available in expansion – for which you must pay extra 50 bucks

On lower tier servers, you can notice empty maps.. and if you find enemy once in never, they will surely kill you with their zerg…

Also, there is no living soul in WvW nor 70% servers play WvW.

Maps are way too big and population is mostly too low for such feature… so yeah, RIP WvW…

It has been tested in WvW and gave me great average win rate!

Build’s counters are heavy anti-condition builds. For rest its peace of koi cake

I have never like ever had this much DCs, its just middle finger in my face for trying to play.

I am running hybrid, not condition guardian.
Although switching to these burning trates improved my damage, thanks.

On bow I have 105% buring duration while on my GS its 85%.

As I often crit and F1 resets each time I kill foe which is always 6-7 secs, I concluded Sinister gear is better for this kind of build.

Theres rune that provides +20% burning duration which is enough to fix that 1 s gap.

I am making DH build which utilises hybrid of GS/LB with Burning. Idea is to put some crippling to NPC and hit it with GS/LB + Burn on F1.

When confronting enemies, I simply put 2 traps > F1 and spin round.

The question is: will viper be worth switching over for such tactics?

Is it possible to change dyes on this armor? I only have Carapace armour and would like to have Luminescent one if it has dye change feature.

I agree on ascended drop. Armor and weapon boxes should be more frequently droped for everyone, as everything is spinning around it now. If not, make one set obtainable through not-so-hard archivs.

Gold farm is overkill. I farmed 50g in 3days in sw. Too low. Not everyone can grind 12h a day. I have job and have toearn for living.

Sorry, but I really love my Dragon Hunter and its proven as fantasticly working in game. No flaws in it nor balance problems. Its not my problem if person I kill in pvp doesnt know how to play.

Seriously guys, give me one good reason to go for DH’s longbow. Every skill is weak, barely doing any damage and doesn’t apply any condition whatsoever except that nice burn, which is again – bit weak.

Please, for DH’s name, buff that longbow(or at least in PvE).

Yeah, Carapace. Didn’t knew there was difference. Also, I am sure I did story mastery so idk how i couldnt get at least one piece.

I am 100% sure that I unlocked at least 2 entire sets of this Armour and yet, game didn’t counted it at all!

First set(light) was unlocked by my warrior for my necromacner and 2nd set(heavy) was recently unlocked by my DragonHunter(on picture).

Both sets are located in my wardrobe and usable by light and heavy profession. Currently, I am finishing medium set, yet archivement is like non-existent.

Yet, I got nothing of this achievement. Why?

As young man and big child inside who still play your games NCSoft, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to both NCSoft and ANET for growing up and sharing their visions and fantasies with me.

You guys are awesome! Sure there are some competitive big companies like Blizz, Ubisoft, Bioware or EA, but you guys are very unique, the very thought behind your games feels fantastic!

I spent so much time on AION, which was like perfect fantasy MMO to me and still is(could be perfect for oculus rift or even Morpheus), even thou its so old. Its very creative, breath taking world where MUSIC makes you FEEL depth of content, like you are there regardless of your screen size or GPU power. (Seriously, the guy who composed AION music is the biggest musical genius for me.)

As I grow older and have less time for non-stop grinds in AION, I passed that tradition to my younger brother and found my home in Guild Wars 2 , 3 years ago, which proven itself to be fun and worthwhile replacement.

I met so many friends, shared so many beautiful moments with them and hopefully Ill find my wife here as well

I tried many MMOs and FPS, but somehow, what you guys created was always the most appealing thing for my mind to enjoy. Thank you so much for this.

Please, continue making and developing games, specially Guild Wars 2 as it has insane potential!
