I was just pointing out that the RG guy building a couple of rams probably had little to no effect on you guys not being able to put arrow carts down, unless you were trying to build them directly on top. Wasn’t accusing anyone of being hostile.

Sacrx that was me that posted a screenshot of the 2nd night of the rams going down in the keep, which did unfortunately cause an over siege problem that day, but since somehow we managed to save the keep.. not sure how but the rams were eventually destroyed, Im not going to post the screenshot on these forums, coz that baddie RG kitty that did it, also helped us save it later.. if you like me to send you it, feel free to ask.

Those rams did nothing for your siege limit unless you yourselves were planning to put more rams inside your own keep on that same spot.

Yer was fun, we heard on the grapevine from our very own turncoat (I think everyone from SN know who I mean) that you guys merged with a couple of other guilds for a larger presence? which were they out of interest.
As I said, would be nice to meet you guys tomorrow when we have more out as wednesday is one of our main raid nights, and today we just didn’t have the numbers to face you in the open. (Hence the steamrolling when we tried)

Alas we were only like 12 tup at our peak today, so needless to say we got run over a few times. But as I said, nice to see a Gandaran guild running such numbers, very nice, keep it up.

I think for lots of guilds running decent numbers, if they get rolled by 70 they respawn and ask where that 70 have got to.

Nah not the whole zone, more like about 70% of it, maybe less, working together as best we can and helping each other in any way possible Just in case you are, don’t qq about numbers, we had the same amount of guys as you, we just chose to have them together to accomplish things, rather than spread around in groups of 15 or so; we are less veteran, less specialised and wealthy troops, not to mention less organised, so we have a higher than average level of organisation, though not anything completely amazing, among many people (random pug people, mind) and thus increase effectiveness overall.

If we were all wearing the same Guild tag you would say we were good, however as that is no the case, we must be a ‘zerg’ and thus the only reason we win anything must be solely because we have greater numbers. <— this is not the way to see it, I am proud of our accomplishments, and don’t think the numbers are a dominant factor in who wins and who loses, I am proud that Gandara can come together like this, just the Random people you met 5 minutes ago and as far as you know just came for their last poi in the Augury’s keep, can pull together to achieve things, and put up a fight and have fun, despite the clear fact that we will never win this week, and second is looking bleaker by the minute.

Agonising and overbearing rant over, sorry if you didn’t mean any of the above, in either case this applies to anyone thinking that way; we do not mindlessly Zerg around with the whole zone.

I know that overall in the zone, Piken has no less than you guys, if anything we have more now unless you have queues on all maps at prime time atm, and yes our numbers are more spread in guilds etc whilst you guys seem to prefer to have a main focal point (probably you most of the time on the map you’re on) for most to rally around. Was merely curious what setup you were on about with sIN being the only ones to wipe you alone.
I remembered you saying you were the commander behind the attack on bay the other day where there was a kitten load of you guys all at the north inner, and indeed we had to have a few guilds work together to get rid of you as you were just running too many for any of the 20 man guilds to wipe by themselves. So I assumed that was the setup you were meaning.

Noone needs to have invited them, if they want to come, they’ll come and unfortunately there’s nothing we can do to stop them.
It would be nice however if they listened to people from our server when we say we’re effectively full and there is no room for them.
Or if they don’t want to listen to us, listen to the people from other servers who’ve made countless recruitment posts practically begging people to move to their server where they’ll become valued among their WvW community.

I do feel guilty sometimes when my guild raid runs over one guy who has built siege by himself and is trying to solo cap something… always a worthy salute for that crazy dedication as its boring as hell and takes awhile.

Don’t worry, sure Krato got a memorial video clip of every guy attempting a solo cap we’ve come across, so their attempt is immortalised in film. (These select Gandarans I think have every right to say that they “got zerged”)

As for the guilds hoping onto PS … we’ve saw severall new tags on PS ( except RG an SiN), so please stop dreaming about the fact you’ve had the same roster on your server that’s not true.

Yes we have had quite a large influx of people who did not make themselves known to our WvW community and just joined ‘under the radar.’ We are still seeing new guild tags pop up all over the place aswell, and most are not very happy about it as our queues at prime time have reappeared this past week or so and sometimes they can get quite lengthy. And yes, anyone from Piken that still says we’re winning despite having a smaller WvW population is deluding themselves.

I can see how it was taken as gloating over our lead. But it was actually meant to highlight the fact that you have that many people online at 3 in the morning (that screenshot doesn’t even show the people that were over by the breakout catas to the north) and own 1 supply camp, maybe split up rather than put all your eggs in one basket. And if you’re not going to split up and go for multiple objectives when you have those numbers, then you have no right to complain about us running as “zergs.”

You must be kidding, right? On the screenie you can just see a bunch of randoms and some Yaks (I think 3-5?) We got harassed by those ballista campers who were there for 4 hours straight and when we finally got people there and started to build something like a ram some major guild (of the 3 that were roaming our bl) would come in and overrun us. If we took a camp it wouldn’t take 1 min or it turned green again.

It certainly feels that this advice is just some more bashing from your part. Or trolling, must be trolling…

The screenshot was posted to show that you’re not actually lacking numbers contrary to what alot of the posters from your server seem to believe. You were actually attacking cliffside on the other side with another breakout event at the same time. It’s not our fault alot of our numbers are in guilds whilst yours arn’t, I think I speak for most on Piken when I say that we’d love you guys to form some more dedicated WvW guilds such as Yak/Dius etc with the people you have, it would make it far more enjoyable (looking forward to seeing CNTK and DL, any news about them joining you yet?)

It was fun although a little painful, if only we’d had some good guild fights in the past for some training rather than wiping pug zergs, but alas, up to now we’ve met no real challenge in the form of guilds. Kudos to RG, very good guild, no real excuses from us, you definitely outplayed us on this occasion and you deserved our badges, it’s not like you’re gonna go spend them on siege to hide behind.

Good fights this week Piken even had que’s again for one evening in some of the maps so almost recovered from its hangover.

Despite techincal issues (anet serious error ftl) making me miss Wed’s night action (which i heard was pretty good) been invovled in alot of battles before and since So many backs to the wall stuff, valiant defending and brutal assaulting despite generally being up against it numbers wise.

Been slighty impressed with a handful of gandara individuals that i often see around, some guild names are memorable, and love fighting your zergs even if we have no chance when severely lacking number, or a minimal chance… we will make you work for it.

We’re usually pretty slack friday evening as we have our meeting, and prepare for the reset, so I’d imagine Gandara will tip us for 2nd, but who really cares, we’ve done enough to ensure its the same matchup next week and it’s not like it’s a desperate fight at the end to see who wins, as AR won this week along time ago from a score point of view.

Was definitively a very fun night in Gandara BL tonight with nice fights with both PS and Gandara. Garrison fights were epic , and evene if we didn’t succeed several times in the “bloody Lord Room” , we will come back !!!!!! ( I really want to get out of Garrison next time by the door !!!! )
Concerning Megablob , i’m a bit surprised as we were at the max around 40 which is far from “mega” , but yes culling was the “Third” ennemy for all
I hope we got some nice footage from tonight’s fight, but as usual I suspect our video expert from both side not to select the same fights

I was mainly referring to the fight at hills, where boon were trapped in the lord room, TUP and a few others came through the north gate to hit the guys outside the tunnel in the back, and after capping the lord room AR moved to the north inner supply depot. All of that passage of play.
If you (NoM) weren’t there I apologise, I couldn’t actually see many of the players there to get guild names, but it’s just that most of the times I’ve seen lots of people stacking on one spot from AR, there have been lot’s of NoM tags involved.
Edit: But at least it was a far more action packed night than most previous ones, nice to see all 3 servers out with nice numbers even if only for a couple of hours.
I’m not sure if we had anyone frapsing from our point of view, well unless you count Krato collecting footage for his special project.

Yer, as Khrums said, tonight crossed the border into ‘too zergy’ at times for my liking for the simple reason I like to see what’s shooting me on my screen. Havn’t seen culling that bad since the Elona megablobs (mainly AR with NOM seemingly at the middle of them all) but ah well.
Gandara defended their Garrison very well tonight it must be said, plenty of times we (TUP) just wanted to break down the outer to have a play inside, it always eventually ended with a respawn as we were gradually whittled down each time, but it was still good fun and a good smush.
Would love to see a few less megablobs in the future, but was nevertheless quite an intense night, and kudos to you Gandarans that were defending Garrison this evening.

From a guild on Gandara, at first we thought he was a spy as he was sitting in bay, we thought he was just giving information about numbers/siege placement until he started sitting outside the wall you guys (Gandara) were trebbing and absorbing the treb shots with focus #4.
We were genuinely confused.

He went over to Piken Square in order to get spots for his map completion. Gandara hasn’t been on the green side for aout 6-8weeks or so! He hasn’t been relaying any information and is working with you guys in wvw this week. And yes, he does make himself useful often by absorbing siege fire on walls and other siege on the battlefield. Make use of him while he’s there, he won’t be spying or telling us anything, and if at any moment he does, he won’t be in the guild any longer! SN has a good name and plans to keep it that way. We do understand his frustration at not being able to get certain points on the map

And ill add that while we were trying to taking DB yesterday, he was there defending it with you all, and I’m pretty sure he was making a point of killing me as often as possible XD

Taking a screenie of 2 people from different servers stomping you, and calling it an alliance is just lol. You know that if they’d carried on fighting and another was downed, as soon as one of you downed guys was stomped the other would rally and the victor (guy that had you both downed) would then have to fight one of you again. Killing you completely before fighting each other is the logical thing to do. Some of you guys amuse me greatly.

Ignore him, most of Piken were unhappy to say the least about the temporary ‘unofficial’ alliance last matchup, and given the response it received noone who is in any way involved with our wvw community would even entertain the thought of another. (especially one with Gandara ;P) Happy fighting.

Just thought I’d share my opinion.

Piken, AR, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves… grovelling at the feet of your enemy is never an option, and I see both of you as lesser opponents because of it; your actions this week have pretty much settled that disrespect for you in my mind and many others – plotting and planning with an enemy the demise of another is where I draw the line… you crossed it. The actions of your Commanders have done this, to whoever says that it wasn’t them, and your Commanders represent you, every Pikey is the same to me, I kill them either way, every Frenchie is mutually shot at, and you may all sense a feeling of communism and equality as I hate (and in the same way, like) you both equally.

Another thing , Pikeys, Tortun Buz, is one of the most upright, gentlemenly, amicable and friendly people I have ever met, he is greatly understanding, and respects everyone, and in my opinion is a great asset to our server… If you have done anything to make him in the least, hostile or aggressive towards you, you should know you have done something deeply wrong… Even I, after all of my time trying, have not been able to garner an inkling of aggression from him; you guys must have messed up big time.

Also, in all honesty, if this is what the Higher Tiers are like, I’m pretty sure I don’t want to be here, there’s a general atmosphere of arrogance, derogation and intimidation, that just isn’t right. I’d rather be back where Gandara started than deal with insults and petty jibes, alliances formed to pull each other down… it reminds me of the Sith (sorry i’m a SW fan) and what you guys have done is broken the Rule of Two, and are scrabbling over each other for the combined strength to pull down another.

If this is High Tier, I pity those stuck in High Tier…

Oh and Torty, don’t let them lose SM, will you? It took ages to Upgrade that place….

As a commander, with the support of a small group of like-minded players, i took the step of breaking the “official alliance” between Piken and Augury.

First I heard there was an alliance between PS and AR.

As far as I’m aware it was only an alliance between like 2 or 3 commanders from each server that was made when they did a fractal dungeon together. I think it was started yesterday and lasted for all of about half a day, and even during that time there was quite a lot of AR and PS players attacking each other and taking each others stuff. So stop exaggerating.
