You do realise u have crafting stations in all major cities? u even have them in queensdale for the love of god, nobody is forcing u to get the ship thingie…Its just a thing like legendaries..nobody is forcing u to grind and get one.

You can make gold without grinding tbh…I make around 100g per week just by doing dungeons 2h per day. Thats 400g/month! Its all about not being lazy!

Just to put this in perspective.

A week of playing two hours a day, 7 days = 100 gold equates to roughly 7 gold per hour. You can buy gold with gems (that’s real money) at the rate of 6.5 gold per UK £. So you are earning just over £1 per hour.

You can’t tell me that it’s just being lazy to turn that down.

Then go ahead and use your credit card mate! My way may be “only” 7g per hour but at least its not grinding gold like people who spend 6-10hours on champion trains runs only to get 3-4g per hour.

So to put it in perspective, u have 3 options to make gold

1. buy gems with real money and with those gems get gold
2. my way – 2h/day of dungeons
3. grinding for +6hours champ trains

AC all paths + CoF p1&p2 are really not that hard with a good group or even randoms from the lfg tool and if u can do other dungeons too, they are just bonus to your end of the week profit.

About the precursor, well i got tooth of frostfang 2 days ago using 15 exotics ( 1g cheap ones from TP) with 5 mystic stones. Its really up to your ammount of luck tbh. A guildie got dusk the same way ( more then 5 tried i guess) 10 min before i started trying.

No player in the world has reached 21k points yet. So it is Not confirmed that they drop from that chest (but players can see the promise that they will drop at 21k in the achievement tab).

I don’t see how Lost Orrian Jewelry boxes get you gold. I’ve opened loads of those and usually get more karma, obsidian shards (non-sellable), TONS of unidentifiable (and veritbaly worthless) objects, and very, very, very few lodestones. Once I got a mini that is also non-sellable. Save your karma and don’t use it on these boxes.

ETA: Maybe someone could make big gold in WvW if they’re on a T1, very large server, on a reset night and stay there for like 6-7 hours. On my server, there’s no way, EVER, I’d make even close to that.

the orrian chests are good in you buy them in large amounts, for example if you got 4m karma laying around :P u get lodestones from em witch are what everybody wants to get from em, especially charged lodestons that are each 2g and some silver on tp atm

Hello, guys!
I’m playing WvW and only WvW for a few month already and i do not feel any critical lack of gold ones in a while. But i heard recently that ppl making 30-35g per evening. I personaly feel i get less than that, even playing guard and necro, so i just wanted to ask maybe i just misuse the loot that i get.
I salvage all blues and greens to impruve my MF, it’s about 137% now.
I sell all yellow and exotic on BLTC.
I open all loot bags.
I sell all mats (exept one needed for superior seige) on BLTC.

So what do i do wrong? Maybe selling staff is more profitable than salvaging or visa versa – i should salvage yellow too? Or put it in Mystic forge?
How much MF do i need, should i stope or aime to hit 150% or 200% or push it too 300%?
Any advise here will be greatly appreciated.

ps: my goal is not earning big money as it is, but since i enjoy WvW so much and play it alot i want to optimize my profit.

I dont know how people make that kinda money in wvw in one evening tbh, i play since 21 pm to about 3am and make maybe 3g orso ( i salvage anything that is not exotic) I also enjoy wvw very much, but as my guild raid starts only at about 21 pm i usually log in 3h orso sooner and do some dungeons runs ( AC and CoF all paths) that nets me about 11 to 13g ( yes in about 2h orso) taking that in account and that 1 week has 7 day..u do the math. But its up to you..if you hate pve maybe someone else here can tell u and me both how they make so much gold in 1 evening wvwing

You are taking a very high standard to compare.
I play almost exclusively PvE and I’m not sure if I can make 30~35g in a week, even less in an evening.
People that make good amount of gold play the TP, and you can do that from WvW, also try to get all the materials from nodes when you are roaming, specially in the EB and iron/platinum in the BL maps, salvage all the light armors you get, cloth materials are in a quite high price.

almost exclusively pve and you cant make 35g per week? pfff i make 11-13g per day in like 2h orso from pve and im a hardcore wvwer lol

I do AC (all paths) then CoF (all paths) that nets me about 9g and some silver per day, i do wvw too, bought the salvag-o-matic and just salvage everything that is under rare status, ( for rares i use mystic salvage kit) all this during the week and on sundays i check my collections tab in the bank and sell any mats that are not T6. You can sell the T6, i dont couse im saving them up for legendary wep. Also after u get all your ascended trinkets you can use your laurels to buy heavy crafting bags, they drop nice T6 mats and usually with 2 or 3 of the bags u can get over 1g (each bag costs 1 laurel). Also if you find a group for Arah dungeon join them ASAP ( not the ones that sell the path, people that do it just for the fun or the gold at the end of the dungeon :P) and do p1 p2 p4..that another 9g for ya in 1 day

Run dungeons with 300%+ mf and farm champion trains. Sell exotics on tp and salvage rares for ectos. Sell ectos for about 35s each on tp. Also all those other rare resources needed for legendary and high end crafting, molten etc.

lol the dungeon part i was expecting..but champ trains really? i must of spent 6h farming frostgorge sound champs with 200% mf and all i got was maybe 2.5g lol

This is getting annoying, just now my 3 man party went in a match and one of the 2 randoms we got for some reason didnt like one of my friends and keept calling us all noobs and “oh im shark rank, you all suck” and was just sitting at spawn. There really should be the option to kick a group member if all other members accept and then someone else takes his place. Losing just couse you are 1 man down is just kitten annoying…..

you can play a spirit ranger, guardian and necro. probably a guardian will be best. it helps if you can play multiple professions if you wanna solo q in team arena.

Well yeah its cheap not worth farming 2-3 days to get it, i got myself Entropy, but was stupid enough to buy it the first day it camed out…so in stead of buying it today for 80-85 gold, i spent 160 on it lol

As far as i know Cobalt’s glow is permanent but only when you draw it out ( sorry bad english)

I’ve heard its the most common champion drop ( from all the other nice skins) but common doesnt mean its easy to get lol

Also when you preview Cobalt from the tp you have 3 options

- Stowed
-wielded
- weapon only

Tick “wielded” check box and you will see the glow

EB JP is a pain in the kitten if you dont have a mesmer to just portal you up to the chest..expecially if you got enemies just trolling you and hitting you at the precise moment you do a jump.

Achievments chests give you a nice ammount of Badges but…for a person that has less then 3500 AP…its not a fast way to get them.

easyest way to get badges of honor is:

- Get some proper wvw gear ( there is a temple in orr where you can buy power toughness vitality armour if you dont have yet badges to buy it from wvw) then go WvW.
- Find a commander, thats where the zerg is usually, join it

I get all my badges from zerg fights and on a bad day i get 100 of them.

Fizble, try submiting a ticket, if you get “too many failed attempts" in a short period of time this can result in an immediate error due to GW2 fraud prevention rules. So you need to contact support. This was my case also yeasterday..seeing how my banking institution delayed the transfer to my card so when i first tried like 4-5 times in a row yeasterday morning i got that error. All cleare up now tho.

I’ve bought gems in the past with the same credit card ( i have a special one just for buying stuff online) Today i wanted to buy the 100€ pack and ofc i used the same CC as always, but it says payment approval failed. Ok i thought maybe the bank transfer didnt happend yet ( the card needs to be charged with money from a normal card or by bank transfer) so i went to the bank and checked my CC’s money balance..and there it was 101€…so i camed back home and tried again…and guess what.. “payment approval failed”.

So what am i doing wrong?

I got to save up over 700g, but i’m not frustrated.

Oh just determining of the rage at the crafting forum about legendaries, mostly the Mystic Toilet drop rate for the precursors

I’m not even thinking about the percursor yet..seeing how some will be craftable or something like that…thats why i’m doing everything else and waiting for the end of the year to see what percursors will be craftable.
